Eutostea, the third princess of Thebes, is visited by the mysterious guest calling himself the God Apollo in bed. In pitch-black darkness, only an outline of him said, “I have come to share a one-night love with you. Once the night passes, you will not remember me, nor shall we meet ever again.” Soon, the three princesses band together to reveal his face while he is sleeping. But the candlewax melts off the tip of the candle in Eutostea’s hand and falls on the god’s shoulder. Apollo wakes, grabs the second princess, declaring, “Princess of Thebes, admire to your heart’s content. ‘Tis the face of the mere shell you sought so dearly.”

“Eutostea. Don’t you want to know what happened to your sisters? Askitea has been taken as a slave to Iaenas, the centurion who has a wife. Hersia is chosen as a slave to serve the prince of the Kingdom of Marea. They are both staying in Phoeprecion which is far away from Thebes. That village is where they stopped before being transferred to the capital. Being harassed by dozens of soldiers and under surveillance. With shackles on their necks and ankles like an animal, and not eating properly! Since they are war prisoners and female slaves, their hair will be cut short and will be branded on the back of their necks with a branding iron. You aren’t going to just sit and watch those awful things occurring to your sisters, are you?”
