Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

# Chapter 4

“Why did you turn off the lights?” asked Eutostea.

Darkness prevailed in the space every time he came, so there wasn’t a chance to see the figure of the god. Apollo’s finger brushed against Eutostea’s cheek. Unlike last night when it felt like electricity was running through his touch, his patting was now warm and affectionate.

“I didn’t want you to see what I really look like. This is just myself wearing a random human figure. It’s not the real me but a fake one.”

Apollo’s explanation revealed the reason Eutostea was able to voice out confidently in front of him. She began to talk without hesitation as if she had never become mute.

“If you turn off the lights, you aren’t able to see me either, are you?”

Her voice sounded as if she felt unfair. Listening to her words, Apollo smiled broadly.

“You think my vision is that awful? It seems like you’re doubting me who’s been enraptured by your beauty and came back to see you on my own.”

‘Yeah, that’s such an unreliable vision of yours.’

Eutostea stared at him with a wry look. No, she looked at the place where he seemed to be. If he came here by mistaking Eutostea for her second eldest sister, he would have noticed the difference immediately while looking at her appearance.

“My hair is…”

When Eutostea tried to bring up the conversation, Apollo cut her off.

“It’s a good scent. I like it.”

His lips touched the top of her head. He enjoyed the scent of her body as much as he wanted to. He looked like a male species marking his territory and being satisfied with it. As Apollo kept trying to change the subject, his attitude made Eutostea gradually nervous.

“God has never heard my voice before, right?”

“Correct. It sounds much better than the tune of the lyre I made myself.”

It was a flattering remark, almost making her face flush.

“I don’t think it’s quite comparable.”

“It is what it is if I say so. You don’t have to use difficult honorifics. Princess of Thebes, I should have allowed you to call my name. Did you forget about it?”

“I feel comfortable using these honorifics.”

“As your mouth for speaking opens, I can tell that you’re quite stubborn.”

Showing a swiveling smile as if he was letting her act cute as much as she wanted, Apollo sent a warm gaze at Eutostea.

“I’ve heard that a lot. If I was rude, please forgive me.”

Eutostea was surprised by herself being more audacious than she thought to say this and that in front of god. She wondered if she drank too much wine during dinner or became brave by growing tipsy.

“Are you here today to spend the night with me again?” Eutostea, who asked the question, was surprised; so did Apollo who heard those words. A smile soon worked its way across his lips.

“That’s a daring question to ask. Correct. Haven’t I promised you that I would come back? I didn’t want to make you wait, so I hurried, but what a response to expect from you.”

“We met yesterday, and this is the second time seeing you. I’m quite a shy person.”

“The lady in my arms last night was quite responsive to my body as to say that she’s shy.”

“Well, that’s…”

Oh, god. Eutostea seemed like she was too ashamed to dare to look up at the night sky.

“It’s alright. You were just charming. I want to see that again tonight––things you showed me. It’d also be great to make that voice of yours heard as much as possible.”

Apollo took off the brooch on Eutostea’s shoulder. A fabric, silky and smooth like a fish scale, ran down her curves and plunged to the floor. The situation was unfolding like it did yesterday.

“Please turn on the light, Apollo. I need to have a word with you urgently. Oop–”

Eutostea brought up a new subject to desperately continue the conversation, but the attempt failed. Apollo’s lips, sly like a snake, lusted for her lips. When her bewildered, floundering arms entered his sight, Apollo let out a gurgling laugh and led them to be around his neck. While he continued a crazy kiss, almost draining her spirit, he made a clutch at her butt and lifted her up. When Eutostea was hanging in the air, only having the man’s neck and shoulder in front of her as a support, she became very anxious and hugged Apollo more tightly. That activeness pleased the god.

“By tomorrow, all the people across Greece will get to know that you are my lady.”

‘How can you say such horrifying words…’

Eutostea’s complaint was, again, swallowed by his lips as soon as her back touched the bed. His fingers came down to her breast. Teasing her nipples, hard and erected as his penis, he smiled aimlessly.

‘They are like that because it’s cold.’ Eutostea made an excuse with a sad face. It was Apollo who made her naked, so everything was all his fault.

Apollo licked her cheek sweepingly as if to soothe her. Then he sucked her lips again. He played with her tongue, submissive as yesterday, as much as he wanted and kept on his long wet sloppy kiss. When he took his lips off, Eutostea’s eyes were glassy and fuzzy as if she was on drugs, and a string of saliva was hanging around her mouth.

Apollo’s hand slid down to her lower body. He rubbed the wet wrinkles of her lady part. Eutostea twisted her body as if she felt the urge to urinate. ‘Shhh––’ He comforted her and stamped a kiss on her temple. Then he bent his waist and pushed his penis into her vagina.

“Aahhh…”

Being surprised by her moan, Eutostea bit the back of her hand hard.

“You’ll hurt yourself.”

Apollo retrieved the back of her hand where she left a bite mark. With his lips, he blocked her from doing so. She shut her mouth as if to bite his tongue. It was a cute whining. Apollo pushed his way through her mouth, making a sucking noise.

Meanwhile, he moved his body back and forth enthusiastically. Eutostea hugged his back in fear of getting separated from him. When he banged her hard, she felt giddy and her vision glitching. When his thing came out of her, it bummed her out somehow. She was absorbed in the sensation Apollo was giving her.

The god found it praiseworthy that she let herself fall into his rhythm. Instead of moving his body violently to follow the pleasure, he slowly shuttled on top of her and kissed her as much as he wanted. Like branding her face, he pressed his lips against her tightly closed eyelids, her wrinkled nose ridge, and her swollen lips that he bit and sucked hard.

Her body, covered with beads of sweat, was now cooled down; the heat also lost its steam. Eutostea, who held her pillow in her arms exhaustively and was lying on the corner of the bed with her face down, questioned Apollo whose fingers were running through her hair.

“Is today the last day?”

It was Eutostea’s wish. If tonight was their last night, she could keep it a secret that she wasn’t Hersia and just bury this memory forever as if it was just a dream in one or two nights. Apollo didn’t say anything. He concentrated on her hair, softly twining around his fingers like waves, but the inside of him was trying to see through her mind before his eyes.

“I met a lot of women holding my back from not leaving them, but I never saw someone like you who tried to confirm a breakup as soon as we met.”

Apollo’s voice was low and husky.

“Man and woman always start their relationship, keeping the breakup in their minds.”

“It seems like the princess of Thebes isn’t satisfied with me, is she?”

That part hurt his pride.

“No, that’s not what I mean…”

It was a complicated problem to explain. But they said, give him enough rope and he will hang himself. Eutostea thought it was best to quickly end up and keep this scandal quiet when it remained as an ambiguous relationship, rather than incurring god’s anger from deceiving him.

“It’s already an honor for me that you came here today. I’d never feel this splendor anymore because I’m a female human. I’m afraid since I know how women involved with gods meet a tragic end. Apollo, please make people remember me as the princess of Thebes, not your lover. That is my request.”

Heavy silence continued again.

Apollo’s hand, quietly combing her hair, suddenly snatched her hair violently; Eutostea slightly groaned.

“You stubborn little thing. And even arrogant.”

Apollo tightened his grip on her face and pulled it close to him. His eyes and Eutostea’s eyes met in the darkness. Their gazes captivated each other as if they had attached their lips and shared a long deep kiss.

“If you dared to challenge the authority of god, I could have painfully killed you. I could have put a curse upon this city you were taking much care of. But you feel just charming to me, trying hard to push me away from you.”

“Forgive me if I displeased you.”

“Kiss me before you beg for forgiveness.”

Apollo’s lips came close right in front of hers but then stopped. After then, he let Eutostea take charge of the situation. The god put a languid smile on his face and watched her being in a fluster.

“You asked for forgiveness, didn’t you? You want to get cursed by god?”

“I… I’ll do it.”

Even though they had seen everything about each other, Eutostea was confused to be ready and to approach him first, but she took a deep breath and forced out her lips.

Her red lips, which looked like it was dyed with crushed flower petals, slightly opened and overlapped on Apollo’s dry but warm lips like she was taking a bite. Feeling ashamed, she got hot flashes all the way up to the top of her head and tried to take her face quickly off him, but Apollo grabbed the back of her head and whispered.

“It’s not enough.”

“Oh… God…”

“From now on, if you want to make a request in front of me, try to touch me more, princess of Thebes.”

A long kiss went on.

‘Pervert.’

Eutostea dug her nails into his back and scratched the surface of his skin as a counterattack. Apollo chuckled. She was performing a cute, painless whining. He triumphantly spread her legs apart. Eutostea covered her pubic area with her palm and moved back. Apollo snatched her wrist and smiled naughtily. In his eyes, it looked like she was swinging her butt to eat his heart out.

“Princess, are you seducing me?”

“No!”

Apollo kissed her on the palm. His hot tongue licked the lines of her palm. His figure was hidden behind the darkness, but with fear in her eyes, Eutostea looked up at Apollo who had an utmost presence. Apollo put her hands up above her head. Then he penetrated her wet part again slowly and steadily.

This time he didn’t let her go that easily.

The morning drew on. Eutostea’s maids who brought new bedsheets after ironing all night opened the bedroom door.

“Aaawwkk!”

The maids, who came inside without thinking, all shrieked. Eutostea wrapped herself in a comforter like a mummy and was lying on the floor. Her long black hair was spread out on the deep yellow carpet. Her face looked pale with dark circles under her sunken eyes. Thus, they couldn’t be blamed for being so surprised as if they had seen a dead body.

“Princess… Did you stay up all night? I mean, why are you… on the floor…” The maids who gathered by twos and threes helped her to get up.

“Hold on. I want to become one body with the floor for a second.”

“Princess… What are you talking about…”

Eutostea wore a tearful face and rubbed her cheek on the marble floor. “My life is screwed up. Give me a minute to look back on the happy moments. You don’t have to straighten up the room today.”

And then she scrutinized every inch of the floor with a depressed look and turned herself to the other side. The view of her back looked like a cocoon. The maids had no idea why the princess was acting that way. So, they just exchanged confused glances. until she roared, “Get out of the room right now!” That was when they rushed out of the room like a brood of chicks and carefully closed the door.
