# Chapter 51
“The pot calling the kettle black. Dionysus. What did you ask for Apollo in return for hiding that girl? Did he say he would take the Temple of Delphi off the ground and give it to you? Are you blinded by worldly desires? Or you’ve wanted to gain wealth more than you deserve? If not, then reputation? Well, where else would that greedy and secular character in a human bloodline go? Bah.”
‘A leopard can’t change his spots.’
The daughter of Zeus and Leto, Artemis, cast a sidelong, disdainful glance at Dionysus, the illegitimate child of Zeus and a mortal. Her supercilious behavior suited her graceful appearance quite well. But for those who didn’t have a strong affection for her, the way she talked wasn’t something they could say as nice and acceptable, and could just move on.
Dionysus was one of those who weren’t impressed at all by looking at pretty faces like that of Artemis. He stared at her apathetically.
“I’m not interested in the Temple of Delphi.”
