Artemis plummeted down like a bird with a broken wing. And her two loyal wolves also shared the same fate.
The sound of the wild animals crying overwhelmed the goddess’ shriek. Then, there was a moment of silence, along with a loud thud as if a rock was thrown to the ground.
Dionysus turned around without hesitation. The next thing he had to do was to make every single one of Artemis’ wolves, the number of which had decreased from thirty-five to thirty-three, into chunks of meat.

Ares was glad that he could compete with Apollo without considering the outcome of the war; he sprang forward suddenly in excitement. Apollo thought it was a waste of time to have a sword fight with him. The progress of the battle was quickly leaning toward the Thebans winning the war.
