# Chapter 43
Riding the panther, Eutostea returned to the Boeotian region. The morning finally came, and it was fully bright. Since she had a broken sleep on her way to this place, Eutostea lay down under the shade of a Bodhi tree and binge-slept. Dionysus and Apollo had a drink together a few feet away from her. The two panthers would protect her, so they gained time to have a conversation. Since the battleground was just around the corner, the hill area after the harvest was enveloped by a spooky atmosphere.
“The place already smells like blood rotting in the soil,” said Dionysus.
“Due to Zeus’ decision, no one can restrict Ares from sweeping over the place.”
“Correct, and Eutostea is trying to walk into the chaos with her own feet.”
“I’m sure she has already told you about what she’s thinking of going to Thebes,” Apollo said as if he had eavesdropped on their conversation. “Eutostea is going to Thebes in order to protect the things she values, you know.”
