Jay then decided to buy some necessities. Although the prices of goods were relatively higher at this black market than at the cooperative, he was still able to purchase them.
However, the advantage was clear: he didn't need a ticket to buy them; with just a little more money, he could get the items he wanted.
So, Jay bought 50 kg of rice, plus 2 kg of white sugar, and some candy for Nining. He estimated that this would be about 2 kg of candy. He also bought 5 kg of beef and 2 kg of beef ribs.
All in all, he needed about $1.20.
This meant that 50 kg of rice cost 50 cents, plus 6 cents for 2 kg of sugar, plus another 10 cents for 2 kg of candy, plus 50 cents for 5 kg of beef, and finally, 4 cents for 2 kg of beef ribs. The total came to $1.20.
So, after buying enough goods, he found he had just over $8 left.
Enough for other expenses. After purchasing everything he needed, Jay walked out of the black market.
He decided to banish those who followed him to his space.
He didn't have many solutions for those who followed him, other than to put them in his space, where they would naturally die.
As for why Jay chose this, it was likely to solve a trivial problem in the future.
After this visit, Jay realized that having a lot of wealth that was easy to flaunt would certainly invite disaster.
And to prevent unnecessary problems in the future, he would of course have to inform some of the people who harbored ill intentions towards him.
That those who harbored ill intentions towards him would certainly suffer a bad fate.
He would be visiting the black market frequently in the future and conducting many transactions.
As for the fate of those who followed him, he didn't want to think about it, because Jay realized that people like them were likely people who had committed many crimes.
So, he could be said to have contributed somewhat to the security of the area by eliminating such dangerous individuals.
After walking for quite some time, the men following him finally had enough and quickly confronted him.
Of course, Jay had been monitoring their every move, and finally, after realizing that the area was truly deep in the forest and that there was no one else around, Jay felt relieved.
"Stop right there, kid, and hand over all your money!" a man with an ugly face shouted at Jay.
Beside him were two men with similar appearances, both of whom had drawn two sharp knives from their waistbands.
Seeing this, Jay realized that they were no novices.
So he then asked, "How many times have you robbed?" Jay's sudden question immediately silenced the three men following him.
"Why are you asking me that? Is this something I need to answer?" the man replied with a surprised but mocking tone.
"Hahahah...brother, look at his fearless face. I feel like he must have some skills," someone beside him said.
"Does it matter? With the three of us, he'll only be a loser like the people we robbed," another replied.
Hearing this, Jay immediately dismissed any doubts he had. He knew the three men in front of him were likely the ones who had committed numerous crimes.
So he didn't need to be polite anymore, because if he was lenient, who knew what these three villains would do once they discovered his identity?
And picturing his family's faces in his memory, Jay certainly couldn't let that happen.
So he simply said, "Okay, if you're capable, come together," Jay challenged the three.
The three villains were about five meters away from him, so Jay said to provoke them and try to get them to come within his range.
"Arrogant...you're so arrogant!!! Let's finish him off!!" Then the man quickly led his two subordinates toward Jay to attack.
"Die, you country bumpkin!!!!!" The three of them ran towards Jay furiously.
Just as they had finished speaking and were approaching Jay, the three of them suddenly disappeared.
"Haaaa…that doesn't feel so bad! !" Jay commented after feeling that he didn't feel so bad after killing the three people.
He then quickly commanded his space to search and separate all valuables from the bodies.
Meanwhile, Jay then searched for a suitable place to bury them.
After selecting a suitable spot, Jay asked his space to dig 2 meters deep, and quickly a hole large enough to accommodate three bodies was created in front of him.
This function was something Jay had recently discovered while digging for mushrooms in a pine forest.
Placing the three bodies into the hole, Jay then asked his space to return to the hole and quickly buried them.
The entire process took less than a minute. To make the area inconspicuous, Jay added some bushes and grass to cover it.
Afterward, Jay decided to return to his village, realizing that it was already midday, and he needed to get back to his village, as his mother and sister were likely already on their way home.
During his journey back to the village, Jay examined some of the stolen items.
In his room, there was about $35, plus 10 kg of food stamps, 2 liters of gasoline stamps, 5 kg of refined grain stamps, 3 liters of cooking oil stamps, and 2 kg of meat stamps.
Seeing the results, Jay had to say that the three men seemed to have had quite a harvest robbing people.
And this time, all of the proceeds were now Jay's, and with these additional items, Jay realized that his family's life would be much better.
In a happy mood, Jay then quickened his pace and headed back to his village.
It wasn't until just after 1:00 p.m. that Jay arrived at his village, and the atmosphere there seemed much more lively than usual.
Having greeted several villagers cordially, Jay returned to his house and found that his father was still missing.
After checking that no one was home, Jay began unloading the 10 kg of rice he had purchased into the grain storage bin.
He also took out 1 kg of beef and 1 kg of beef ribs, with an additional 1 kg of sugar and 1 kg of candy.
All of which will be shown to his family as the proceeds from the game he hunted.
