Four figures in the dark room floating in the void.
"We should give heed to the warnings of Asterorion Theoklastes." a voice speaks, imbued with a sense of ancient concern.
"Did he not lay waste to multiple Orber simply for their desire to converse? I shall not indulge his pleas to further their destruction," a more feminine voice replies, dripping with disdain.
"I am in accord," a softer, yet no less ancient, feminine voice adds. "I, too, sense his hand in the fates of Eldoria and Ignisara."
"Let him dare," a deep, confident voice rumbles with a hint of challenge. "We shall observe him with greater scrutiny. Rest assured, I shall take action to see his recklessness brought to heel, even by the most forceful of means."
The news of the Rosejail Outbreak spread worldwide faster than anything.
"The prisoners escaped?! More like the government took them out! What's their deal?!"
"What if those prisoners are walking through the towns like nothing happened?!"
"We can't let our guard down; breaking into the house of the greatest surgeon must have been a very tough experience!"
Many people worldwide were scared and shocked as the news reached them. Those prisoners were the masterminds behind many incidents, including the Rosejail Outbreak, which resulted in many innocent and pure souls being taken.
Most people were disgusted by the news. They knew the government was the main cause of the outbreak, but there had been many examples before. Whoever dared to leak the news would get assassinated—though not always obviously, of course.
Leaker found dead in their home!, Leaker passed away from an unknown disease!, Leaker was shot in the heart by robbers! etc.
The one most affected by the incident was Jaylee. After five years of living with her foster father, who was like a real father to her, she had to find out he died to protect her. She had fallen asleep from exhaustion that day in the closet, hoping he would come back.
From that day on, she was invited to be the adopted daughter of many wealthy families, including Crydan's friends, co-workers, and even his rivals. But she turned down all of those invitations because she couldn't replace her father figure, Crydan.
She then received an invitation from the medical academy where Crydan used to be a teacher, an honor bestowed upon him. She accepted this invitation because she could live in the dormitory assigned to her for her entire life, but of course, she had to become a teacher there after she graduated.
Back in Microchip's laboratory.
"So, what are the other nine special cases of elements?" Chris asks as he wipes the oil from his fingers and mouth.
"Focus." Microchip brings out two pictures, one showing the Yin element and the other showing the Yang element. Only the Yin is present in its picture, and only the Yang is present in its picture, not a complete Yin-Yang.
"This is the Yin element and the Yang element. The Yin element is used for spiritual work. Like now, you're in this body—that's spiritual. The Yang element is used for physical work. Like earlier, your spirit has been adapted to your artificial body—that's physical." Microchip explains, holding up each picture.
"Hmm, so I'm a creation of both Yin and Yang combined?" Chris asks as he spins his artificial wrist.
"Yes. The Yin and Yang combination creates life and bodies. Our Earth was also created this way." Microchip explains as he takes off the cloth that is covering something.
"Say hello to your new siblings, Chris! This is my G-Series cyborg project!" Microchip reveals five bodies held in a T-pose by robotic arms, their heads down and skins not yet applied.
"You... mad genius, Microchip. Still the smartass as always..." Crydan says in awe as he walks closer to touch the bodies.
"Yup, I have six versions, including you. They are Man, Woman, Boy, Girl, and Non-Identified." Microchip explains as he takes out layers of silicon skin to apply to them.
"Wait, so I'm the Man version? What about Non-Identified? What's that?" Chris frowns. Yeah, he could have just said 'genderless,' but he's using the term 'non-identified,' which is strange.
"Well, when I say 'Non-Identified,' it means that body is adaptable. Which requires complex coding and body-building structures. For example, if you wanted an armless goat man, you could turn this non-identified version into that. It's very flexible." Microchip explains while applying the skin to the other versions.
"Woah, you're a fucking genius!" Chris smacks Microchip's head, which makes Microchip and the Boy version kiss.
"You idiot!" Microchip immediately pulls back, wiping his lips before chasing Chris down. Well, that's hilarious.
Point Mountain.
"Our target is this treasure." Ferruccio raises his hand to show the picture in his hand. The picture shows a chest with a skull mark as the lock holder, and its nose serves as the lock.
"This treasure is what we need. If we can retrieve it safely, we'll be richer than anyone in the world, and we can rule Gangster Island!" Ferruccio cheers his workers, and they also raise their hands in excitement.
After that, the workers start mining the mountain to obtain the National Treasure. A supervisor comes to Ferruccio and asks, "Chief, I know this treasure is worthy enough to offer us an island, but what's inside? What if nothing is in the chest? Or if it's already been stolen?" He asks as he hands Ferruccio the lighter.
"Well, that's the problem. I don't even know myself. My dad just told me he was after the National Treasure and failed before he died." Of course, Ferruccio lied about his father's death, but not the history of the treasure itself.
"Hmm, that's logical. I'm sorry for your loss, but if you don't mind me asking, how old were you when your dad died?" the supervisor asks.
"I was nine when that happened, twenty-four years ago," Ferruccio says as he takes a deep drag of his cigar. "They also have some pretty dangerous animals here; Gulin is an example. Also, many rebel aliens reside here. We must be careful." Ferruccio warns him and extinguishes the flare.
"Oh, you do have a lot of experience here." The supervisor says before nodding to himself and getting lost in thought.
The day went by, and the research and mining progress slowly advanced, until the sunset.
"Hey, Cuervo. What's this?" Ferruccio asks as he grabs a piece of a shard that has a deep-red color and looks like it has been fossilized for decades.
"What, chief?" El Cuervo walks toward Ferruccio to observe the thing.
"This. It looks like a heart or something. Could this be an extinct animal?" Ferruccio says while handing Cuervo the heart.
Cuervo holds the heart and examines it, before a loud explosion reaches their ears.
"What was that?!" Ferruccio shouts as he manifests his arm into a wooden cestus that looks like an eagle's head and coats it with metal.
"I have no idea, chief. But we know it's something horrible; workers are screaming!" The supervisor grabs his dagger and runs out of the tent to engage and check on whatever is happening.
"Dead Rebringer Technique." Ferruccio claps his cestus together and slams the ground, which causes the ground to shake and two Egyptian coffins to emerge from the underworld with purple flames around them before they are gradually extinguished.
"Why did you summon us, Ferruccio?..." One of the reanimated corpses says as they push the coffin's cover.
"We are not weapons, you know?" Another coffin opens, revealing a person with an insect face, artificial arms, and wolf-like legs.
"I did not wish to recall you both, but I must do this. I can sense that they are Point Guardians, and I've learned you two have a great deal of experience with them. Help us." Ferruccio says as he vanishes the coffins with a technique called: "Instant Vanishing."
The other reanimated corpse has cat-scratch-like scars on his face and a shining blue iris. The man tries to grab something from his back, only to realize there's nothing.
"Where's my sword, Ferruccio?" The man asks as he looks around to find his sword.
"TCDG stole yours. Piso is using it as his personal sword. But you can have a manifested one." Ferruccio says as he manifests a leg as a similar sword using the Metal element, breaks it off, and hands him the sword.
"I don't even remember if our technology is still as advanced as it used to be." The insect man says as he raises his hands and mimics the gesture of holding two pistols; surprisingly, it works.
"Woah, I can't believe Insectians are still so advanced." The man says as he rolls his pistols to hold them comfortably before heading out of the tent to deal with the guardians.
"Site A, what happened?!" The supervisor arrives at the attacked Site A and thrusts his sword into the ground, shocking all the guardians.
"We don't know, sir! We were ambushed by undead golems! No matter what we do, we can't attack them!" One of the injured workers explains the situation.
"Don't worry, the Chief's coming." The supervisor says as he draws back his sword and clashes with the guardians to keep the situation from getting worse.
"We are here." The man with the scars declares as he dashes through the temporary buildings of the site and reaches the battlefield.
"H-Holy! Are we dead?! What is the Legendary Yakuza of the West doing here?!" One of the workers exclaims in disbelief.
This man was very famous in the past. He stole a sword that was held by a daimyo of his island and left. He was attacked by many bandits and 'government dogs' before, only for them to meet their end. Many swordsmen wanted to be like him, or even surpass him, but no one did until he was assassinated by a mafia gang called "The Citizen Dependency Gang," led by Vallen Dross.
"Do not get too close, or your souls will be extracted." He warns before sweeping the ground with air slashes—and he is not done yet. He then imbues his blade with the Stone element and slashes the guardians with the speed of light. The guardians that are slashed become petrified immediately.
"They are created from pure Ancient Yin energy and basic Yang energy. So you'll get your soul extracted the moment you make contact with them." He explains this to everyone, then imbues his blade with Wood energy, slashes all the workers, and immediately heals them.
"Damn you, leave some for me to test my guns!" The insect man says as he dashes onto the battlefield and looks around.
"Well, you did a great job petrifying them, Kaji." The insect man says before shooting bubble-like bombs at the targets and blowing them up with acid.
"Still functioning. Good." Kaji comments and nods.
"H-Huh?! King Orion-Tek too?! King of the Insectian race who fought for liberation?!" Another worker exclaims in disbelief.
"Don't get too excited, kids. We'll disappear once the time is up." He says before walking toward the mountain. "This sure is big." Then he shoots similar bubble-like bombs, but bigger, then blows up part of the mountain.
"Blowing the mountain will end up accidentally destroying the treasure, Orion." Kaji comments before leaping into the air and slashing the mountain in half.
"What was that..." Kaji murmurs. He saw something, like multiple eggs. Like snake eggs, but too big to be snakes. Sure, Giganta Snaka and other giant snakes exist, but this is nothing like them.
"What did you see, Senior?" Ferruccio asks as he also leaps into the air.
"Eggs, a species unlike any I've seen before." Kaji says before dashing to the cliff-like place where the eggs are located.
Many workers, Orion, Ferruccio, and the Supervisor also joined the exploration with their weapons. After a while of searching for the eggs Kaji found in a glimpse of light, they finally found the place.
"Are those the eggs you said? I don't recognize these as our species." Orion says as he takes a closer look.
"Yeah, me neither. Too bad we didn't find those in our generation." Kaji says before drawing his sword and slashing them in half, revealing that those eggs hold many baby guardians and other predators."
