Sona was wearing the exact same style of swimsuit as Rias and Akeno—though hers was in a far more enchanting and seductive shade of violet. While her bust was a bit smaller than Rias's or Akeno's, under Yoru's gradual "development," it seemed to be slowly catching up.
What stood out the most, however, was her aura. The mature, sultry charm that Sona exuded was something neither Rias nor Akeno could hope to match.
This transformation puzzled Rias. How had her longtime rival become even more feminine after such a short time apart?
Meanwhile, Koneko, who was sitting quietly at the edge of the pool, pitifully glanced down at her flat chest and pouted.
After all, she had the smallest chest of the group, so it didn't matter if she wore a one-piece or a revealing bikini like the others—it was all the same.
Before long, the pool was mostly cleaned up, and just as Rias was suggesting how they should start having fun, there was a sudden splash—something had clearly fallen into the water.
"Kyaa… Koneko!" Rias cried out in surprise, rushing over to pull the struggling girl out of the pool.
"Huh? Koneko, you can't swim?" Yoru asked curiously, watching as the little girl exhaled deeply in relief, looking like someone who had just been rescued.
"Nope~ And since Koneko's real form is a nekomata, she's especially afraid of water," Rias explained while comforting the frightened girl.
"Well then, I'll leave this difficult mission to you," she added, "Teach Koneko how to swim."
At the Kuoh Academy school pool, Yoru was now earnestly teaching Koneko how to swim. He gently held the girl's hands, helping her practice kicking.
As expected, she had a natural fear of water. Even though she clutched his hands tightly, Yoru could still feel her body trembling slightly. Koneko, meanwhile, was puffing and gasping for air as she splashed her feet, desperately trying to stay afloat. Honestly, the sight of the petite girl working so hard was undeniably adorable.
After repeating this several times, Koneko slowly began to adjust to being in the water. Though she was a demon and her race had a natural aversion to water, she had never tried swimming before. But after staying in the pool for a while, Koneko discovered that swimming wasn't nearly as scary as she thought—it was actually quite easy.
Gradually, she seemed to get hooked, swimming back and forth with no sign of wanting to stop. Off to the side, Asia watched in envy. Incidentally, she couldn't swim either.
"Koneko-chan, that's not fair! You've been learning for so long already. I want Yoru to teach me too!"
Standing at the edge of the pool, Asia pouted, staring longingly at Koneko, who was practically being held in Yoru's arms as they moved through the water.
"I'm not done learning yet—one more lap," Koneko said calmly, completely ignoring Asia's complaints and clinging tightly to Yoru's arm as if she had no plans of letting go.
"Ugh… But Koneko already learned how to swim! I don't care—I want to learn too!"
Pouting in frustration, Asia suddenly jumped into the pool with a splash.
Predictably, the girl who couldn't swim sank immediately, leaving Yoru exasperated.
He didn't dare waste even a second—quickly dragging Koneko out of the pool, he dove in and pulled the coughing Asia up into his arms.
"Don't be reckless like that! What if something serious had happened?"
"S-sorry…" Asia lowered her head, apologizing with a bit of guilt.
"Yoru, maybe you should teach Asia-chan how to swim first. I think I've got the hang of it now," Koneko admitted, finally letting go.
"Thank you, Koneko-chan. Yoru-sensei, hold me tight, okay?" Asia said shyly, blushing as she slowly eased herself into the water.
And thus, Yoru's swim lesson with Asia began.
"Ahh… I'm so tired," Asia sighed after around ten minutes of kicking practice, collapsing onto the vinyl mat by the poolside.
Exercising in the water took more effort than on land, and for someone like Asia who wasn't very athletic, it was pretty exhausting.
Koneko, meanwhile, was resting in the shade nearby, quietly reading a book.
Of course, she could use her Sacred Gear to recover her stamina instantly, but doing that just for a swimming lesson felt… weird.
Xenovia and Irina, being holy sword wielders, moved through the water with the grace of mermaids. The two seemed to be playing a game of tag.
While Yoru was considering finding a spot to rest and admire the girls in their swimsuits, Rias called out to him from nearby.
She looked like she was trying not to be seen, which amused Yoru. Curious, he walked over and asked,
"What's up? Why call me over so sneakily?"
"Shh! Keep your voice down—don't let Sona notice," Rias whispered, glancing over at the swimming Sona.
"Well, I called you over for something important, obviously. Even though demons don't get sunburned, we still need to take care of our skin, right? So, Yoru, be thorough when you apply it."
Lying face-down on the vinyl mat, Rias's smooth, pale back gleamed under the sunlight. In her hand was a bottle of sunscreen, which she passed to Yoru.
"Don't worry. I'll make sure not to miss a single spot."
The cool, oily liquid spread over his palms. Yoru, knowing full well Rias was teasing him, didn't hold back. He rubbed the lotion across her soft back—not just applying, but caressing.
"Eek! So cold… but Yoru's hands are so warm… It feels amazing," Rias moaned, her body tensing with each stroke.
Weren't they supposed to be discreet? With her moaning like that, forget Sona—everyone around was going to notice!
Yoru chuckled to himself and shook his head, though he didn't stop. His hands continued to explore every inch of her skin freely.
But there was one thing Rias hadn't considered—such a petty display didn't even qualify as a provocation for Sona, who had already experienced true intimacy with Yoru. The girl in the pool simply chose to ignore the whole scene.
