Chapter 266 - New Mission: Senju Hashirama's Physique

After lunch, Kitazawa arrived at the Hokage Building.

He was about to walk in when he suddenly stopped and stepped back. Soon, he saw the window of the Hokage Office exposed to the outside.

Kitazawa leaped up and jumped onto it.

He used to see Jiraiya always using the window, and today he finally got to experience it himself.

After steadying himself, he looked toward the Hokage Office. Shizune wasn't there; Tsunade was sprawled on the Hokage's desk, sound asleep.

Kitazawa couldn't help but chuckle. He jumped down from the window and walked in, but he didn't wake Tsunade.

Kitazawa sat on the sofa and rubbed his temples. He sorted through the things he needed to do recently and realized there was quite a lot.

Besides learning Wood Release and teaching his students, he also had to teach Yakushi Nono and others how to regrow severed limbs.

Fortunately, the Anbu side didn't require much of his attention.

Only the Sword of the Thunder God, making puppets, and finding Zetsu had to be temporarily postponed.

At least until next week, he wouldn't have time for them. Kitazawa's brow suddenly twitched as he thought.

He had forgotten one thing — the Genius Class's Monthly Exam. He planned to make some changes to this Monthly Exam.

Kitazawa glanced at Tsunade. She probably wouldn't wake up for a while.

Kitazawa took out Medical Forbidden Technique: Cellular Activation and began to read it. After modifying Medical Forbidden Technique: Body Revival Technique, it was its turn.

Time slowly passed.

Tsunade woke up groggily. She instinctively sat up straight and stretched.

Her flattened clothes regained their contours. She opened her eyes and saw Kitazawa sitting on the sofa, seriously reading a Ninjutsu scroll.

Tsunade was stunned. Putting everything else aside, Kitazawa was indeed handsome and fit her aesthetic.

She instinctively shook her head. She had already made one mistake; how could she make a second?

"Kitazawa, when did you arrive?" Tsunade yawned and asked.

"I didn't notice, maybe an hour or two." Kitazawa put away the Ninjutsu scroll, looked at Tsunade, and couldn't help but smile.

"What are you laughing at?" Tsunade felt confused.

Kitazawa stood up and walked over to her. He raised his hand and reached toward her right cheek.

"You… what are you doing?" Tsunade instinctively felt a hint of nervousness.

"It's all ink." Kitazawa lightly traced her cheek, then showed his finger to her, smiling as he spoke.

Tsunade froze for a moment, then realized. She had been leaning on documents, so her face had gotten ink on it.

Tsunade wiped her face a few times, only to find Kitazawa smiling even more broadly. Undoubtedly, her wiping had the opposite effect.

"Do you have a mirror?" Tsunade couldn't help but kick him, asking.

"No." Kitazawa looked at her face, which resembled a little calico cat, and shook his head.

"You wipe it for me." Tsunade frowned, glared at him, turned her face, and presented her right cheek to him.

Kitazawa extended his hand.

Chakra converted into water nature, and a stream of water wrapped around his finger. Under his wiping, Tsunade's right cheek regained its pristine whiteness.

"Tsunade-sensei, you look even more beautiful and charming now than before." Kitazawa praised.

His smiling face was reflected in Tsunade's eyes. She was momentarily dazed.

"Let's practice the Yin Seal." Tsunade came back to her senses and said.

She noticed that recently, she wasn't as natural when facing Kitazawa as she used to be.

"Alright." Kitazawa nodded.

"Let's go to the sofa and talk." Tsunade stood up and said, "The Yin Seal is very complex; we'll be talking for a long time."

Kitazawa sat on the opposite sofa, his gaze fixed on her.

Tsunade was very casual. She leaned against the sofa, crossed her long legs, and her fair, bare feet swayed slightly.

"The Yin Seal is an S-rank Medical Ninjutsu, but while it's called Medical Ninjutsu, it's actually a combination of Medical Ninjutsu and Sealing Technique."

Tsunade began her explanation.

For an S-rank Ninjutsu, it's impossible to start by teaching hand signs. The normal process is to first explain the theory and key points.

Kitazawa had already learned the Yin Seal through the system, so listening to her explain these things was bound to be a bit boring.

He stared at Tsunade, his gaze unconsciously drawn to her gravity-defying assets.

"Repeat what I just said." Tsunade narrowed her eyes, her tone laced with menace.

Not paying attention in class, and looking around everywhere. If he didn't satisfy her, she was truly going to beat him up.

"Yes!" Kitazawa said seriously.

He repeated everything verbatim and even added his own understanding.

Tsunade was astonished after listening. He had completely grasped what she taught in such a short time?

She felt that Kitazawa's speed in learning Sealing Technique might even be faster than hers.

"Not bad." Tsunade didn't mind his gaze and continued to explain the Yin Seal.

The afternoon passed quickly.

"That's all for today." Tsunade stood up, looked at Kitazawa, and said, "You really are bold."

"Tsunade-sensei, want to go to the casino?" Kitazawa blinked and asked.

He knew what Tsunade was referring to. But without boldness, where would hope come from?

Tsunade wasn't Kurenai; she had long since sealed away her heart and love.

If it weren't for the accidental kiss due to drinking not long ago, Kitazawa would have felt there was no chance.

"You're quite perceptive." Tsunade's attitude immediately changed upon hearing the word casino, and she said, "You can also help me deal with Shizune."

"No problem." Kitazawa smiled and said, "Then we'll tell Shizune-senpai that we studied the Yin Seal until late at night."

"Excellent, let's go!" Tsunade's spirits lifted, and she walked outside.

Kitazawa closed the door and quickly followed her. But after a few steps, she suddenly stopped.

"What's wrong?" Kitazawa almost bumped into her.

He glanced at her peachy rear and took half a step back.

"All my money is with Shizune." Tsunade turned to look at Kitazawa.

"Then I'll cover your losses." Kitazawa understood her meaning and offered proactively.

"What do you mean, 'losses'?" Tsunade rolled her eyes upon hearing that and said, "You just need to lend me some capital, and I'll pay you back when I win."

"Alright." Kitazawa twitched his lips.

How do you manage to lose every time you gamble and still be so confident?

I feel like I need to find a way to make some money. Otherwise, Tsunade will eventually squander it all.

Kitazawa thought of the Medical Ninjutsu for limb regeneration.

Ninja from his own village could receive it for free, but Ninja from other villages would have to pay. And not just Ninja — Daimyo, nobles, and merchants were all his clients.

As soon as they arrived at the casino, Tsunade's eyes lit up, and she became excited. She quickly walked toward the gambling table.

But then she suddenly remembered she had no money. Tsunade grabbed Kitazawa, who was walking calmly, and pulled him in front of the table.

She let go, but didn't withdraw her hand — instead, she spread her fair palm and waved it in front of him. The meaning was self-evident.

"Here's three hundred thousand ryo to start." Kitazawa handed her a stack of money.

"That's enough! Watch me win it back for you!" Tsunade said with great confidence.

Kitazawa didn't believe a word of it. He sat beside her, watching her start gambling — and then, as expected, losing, losing, and losing again.

"Again!" Tsunade said with a gloomy expression.

Kitazawa gave her another three hundred thousand ryo. He looked at her, thinking this could totally be a gambling addiction movie with her as the protagonist. The effect would definitely be good.

"Damn it!" Tsunade clenched her fists, her face full of frustration.

"Here." Kitazawa became a heartless money-giving machine.

Tsunade grabbed the money and continued to gamble.

Night fell. Kitazawa calculated and found that Tsunade had already lost nearly two million ryo. Converted to Ninja missions, that was the reward for two S-rank missions.

"Tsunade-sensei, are you still playing?" Kitazawa glanced at the darkening sky outside the window and said, "If we go back too late, Shizune-senpai will get suspicious."

Tsunade stood up, unwilling, and walked outside.

The streetlights on both sides of the road had already lit up. She took a few deep breaths, and her mood gradually calmed.

"The money I borrowed from you today, you keep track of it for now." Tsunade glanced at Kitazawa and said, "I'll pay you back next time."

"No need to pay it back," Kitazawa said indifferently. "As long as you had fun."

Besides, the influence and value Tsunade brought him had already far exceeded two million ryo — for example, the Anbu Commander position, the Yin Seal, and the Ninja Art Creation Rebirth: Strength of a Hundred Seal she would teach later.

Tsunade was slightly startled. Having been managed by Shizune for so long, suddenly encountering Kitazawa — who let her spend money freely — she wasn't quite used to it.

However, she felt that Kitazawa's motives were impure. After all, he was being very obvious.

Tsunade could have confronted him directly, but for some reason, she couldn't bring herself to make that decision.

"Tsunade-sensei, I estimate Shizune-senpai and the others have already had dinner. Shall we go to an izakaya for a drink?" Kitazawa asked again, not waiting for her reply.

Tsunade instinctively wanted to agree, but then bit her lip and shook her head. "No more drinking. Let's go eat at Ichiraku Ramen."

"That's really not like you," Kitazawa said, somewhat surprised.

"The Three Ninja Prohibitions — abstain from alcohol, understand?" Tsunade glared at him.

"Tsunade-sensei, no one would believe you if you said that!" Kitazawa retorted.

"Huh?" Tsunade stopped, instinctively leaned closer, and asked with a threatening look, "What did you say?"

A beautiful face suddenly appeared right before Kitazawa. In his peripheral vision, he caught the rising and falling of fair, tender skin — and he was momentarily stunned.

"I mean, what Lady Tsunade says must be right," Kitazawa quickly corrected himself.

Tsunade let out a soft hum, then realized they were too close and immediately took half a step back.

"If you're eating at Ichiraku Ramen, I recommend the Chashu Spare Rib Ramen," Kitazawa said with a smile.

"Do you often eat at Ichiraku Ramen?" Tsunade asked as she walked.

"My house is right next to Ichiraku Ramen," Kitazawa explained. "So I used to be a regular customer there."

"Your house?" Tsunade was momentarily stunned. "I forgot you're currently living at Kurenai's place, not your own."

Kitazawa coughed twice. Speaking of which, he hadn't been home or opened his general store for a long time. However, he no longer needed to rely on the store to make money.

With his status as an Anbu Commander, Hokage's student, and Vice Principal of the Ninja Academy, making money was actually very easy.

"Teuchi, two bowls of Chashu Spare Rib Ramen!" Kitazawa shouted as he entered Ichiraku Ramen.

"Kitazawa? You haven't been here for a long— Hokage-sama!" Teuchi said as he walked out of the kitchen, suddenly freezing when he saw Tsunade.

"Teuchi, Hokage-sama rarely comes, so you must make your best ramen," Kitazawa said with a smile.

"Absolutely!" Teuchi immediately guaranteed. "Hokage-sama will not be disappointed!"

After speaking, he re-entered the kitchen, fully focused.

"You don't have to put so much pressure on him," Tsunade said casually.

"Pressure brings motivation," Kitazawa said, sitting beside her. "Besides, Teuchi isn't afraid of a challenge — his goal is to make the best-tasting ramen in the Ninja World."

"It seems you really know him well." Tsunade looked up at the menu on the wall and asked, "Why do you only recommend Chashu Spare Rib Ramen? Are the others not good?"

"All the ramen Teuchi makes is good," Kitazawa paused. "It's my personal preference. Naruto also likes Chashu Spare Rib Ramen the most."

"Naruto?" Tsunade said thoughtfully. "I saw his file at the old man's place before. He's quite obsessed with Ichiraku Ramen."

"After all, Teuchi is one of the few villagers who treated him normally," Kitazawa said, looking at her profile. "Lady Tsunade, will you reveal Naruto's true identity?"

"Are you referring to the Nine-Tailed Jinchuriki, or Minato's son?" Tsunade asked, slightly startled.

"The identity of the Nine-Tailed Jinchuriki can be kept secret for now, but I think the identity of the Fourth Hokage's son can be fully revealed,"

Kitazawa said slowly. "As you know, Naruto's childhood was not happy — there's no reason for him to bear such a burden."

"Konoha Village truly wronged him in this matter," Tsunade sighed.

Minato Namikaze and Uzumaki Kushina sacrificed themselves to save Konoha Village. But their son never received the treatment he deserved. Now that she was Hokage, such a situation could not continue.

"At the next Jonin meeting, I will announce this to the entire village," Tsunade mused.

"As expected of Lady Tsunade, you have more courage than the Third Hokage," Kitazawa immediately praised.

"Aren't you afraid of the Old Man hearing that?" Tsunade chuckled at his words.

"With you, what is there to fear?" Kitazawa said nonchalantly.

Tsunade subconsciously bit her lip. Kitazawa's words were truly becoming more and more outrageous.

"Lady Tsunade, I think we can also tell him about the Nine-Tails' existence first," Kitazawa said seriously. "Let him know about the Nine-Tailed in advance and try to control its power."

"Is he ready now?" Tsunade regained her composure, frowning slightly. "I think we should wait a few more years, until after he graduates, before he tries to master the Nine-Tails power."

The greatest significance of the Nine-Tailed Jinchuriki's existence is to master the Nine-Tails power to protect Konoha Village.

This had been the case for all previous Nine-Tailed Jinchuriki, and Uzumaki Naruto was no exception. The only problem was that Tsunade felt it was too early to start now, at least until he was twelve.

"It's not necessarily about mastering the Nine-Tails power right now," Kitazawa's tone shifted.

"I think we can cultivate a relationship first. With Naruto's personality, he can definitely become friends with the Nine-Tailed."

"Friends?" Tsunade reacted quickly. "Are you talking about a Perfect Jinchuriki?"

An ordinary Jinchuriki forcibly borrows the Tailed Beast's power. A Perfect Jinchuriki becomes friends with the Tailed Beast, understanding each other, and the Tailed Beast willingly lends its power to the Jinchuriki.

Clearly, the latter would unleash infinitely greater power, even surpassing the Tailed Beast.

"Exactly," Kitazawa nodded. "I believe Naruto has that ability."

Tsunade fell into thought. If Uzumaki Naruto could become a Perfect Jinchuriki, it would naturally be a joyous outcome. But she was afraid he might get hurt in the process.

Tsunade's beautiful eyes shifted to Kitazawa. She suddenly smiled and said, "Alright then, I'll leave this matter to you."

"No problem," Kitazawa secretly breathed a sigh of relief. His System mission to tell Naruto about the Nine-Tailed's existence could finally be completed!

"If Naruto can truly become a Perfect Jinchuriki, then you will have made a great contribution," Tsunade promised. "You can ask me for a reward then."

"Anything?" Kitazawa met her gaze and asked.

Tsunade felt the burning intensity in his eyes. Her heart trembled, and she turned her head, saying, "As long as Konoha has it."

[Mission from Hokage-sensei.]

[Current Mission: Help Uzumaki Naruto become a Perfect Jinchuriki.]

[Mission Reward: 20% of Senju Hashirama's physique.]

[Accept?]

Kitazawa's eyes suddenly widened. Holy F*uk! Senju Hashirama's physique? What kind of outrageous mission reward was this?

Kitazawa remembered that in the original work, Senju Hashirama said that Uzumaki Naruto, with half of the Nine-Tailed's Chakra, could barely compare to him.

Even just 20% of Senju Hashirama's physique would far exceed 100% of an ordinary Senju Clan Bloodline.

How many cards would that be? One hundred? Five hundred? In any case, it was Chakra that would be very difficult to deplete.

Of course, a generous mission reward also implied the difficulty of the mission. In the original work, Uzumaki Naruto becoming a Perfect Jinchuriki happened in the late stages, at least nine or ten years from now.

However, due to Kitazawa's butterfly effect, it definitely wouldn't take that long this time. In short, this system mission definitely had to be accepted.

At the same time, Kitazawa also confirmed his guess: with the system, he would one day surpass Senju Hashirama.

"Chashu Spare Rib Ramen, coming right up!" Teuchi suddenly appeared, interrupting their conversation.

"Thank you," Tsunade said, taking the Chashu Spare Rib Ramen.

"Hokage-sama, please enjoy, and feel free to give any feedback," Teuchi said with a beaming smile.

"I will," Tsunade picked up her chopsticks.

"Kitazawa, this is yours," Teuchi placed the second bowl of Chashu Spare Rib Ramen in front of Kitazawa.

"Thank you," Kitazawa said, taking a deep breath. "The aroma hasn't changed at all."

"Of course," Teuchi said with a smile. "You haven't been around for a while, though."

"I'll definitely come when I have time," Kitazawa glanced at Tsunade; she was already slurping her ramen.

"But you're a Konoha hero now, so it's normal for you to be busy," Teuchi paused. "If you want ramen, you can tell me in advance, and I'll have Ayame deliver it to you."

"No need for such trouble," Kitazawa shook his head, refusing.

Ichiraku Ramen was very busy, and Teuchi and Ayame were already overwhelmed. Having Ayame deliver ramen to him would only add to Teuchi's burden.

"Your relationship is truly good," Tsunade said with a slight curl of her lips.

"We've been neighbors for many years," Teuchi said with a sigh. "Kitazawa has also helped me a lot."

"Then tell me about his past," Tsunade took a sip of ramen broth.

"Wait!" Kitazawa's expression changed slightly. "How did the topic suddenly turn to me?"

"I'm your teacher. Is there a problem with me understanding your past?" Tsunade asked playfully.

"I think you just want to know my embarrassing past," Kitazawa twitched his lips.

"Embarrassing past? That term sounds quite fitting," Tsunade became interested and said directly. "Teuchi, tell me more about his embarrassing past."

"..." Kitazawa was speechless. Gossip was indeed human nature; even Tsunade couldn't avoid it.

"Haha!" Teuchi laughed twice. "No problem!"
