Chapter 42 - Chapter Forty-Two: The Discussion about the Kingdom of Eldoria

Kingdom of Dumbrock Throne Room, 1509

Queen Elena stepped into the grand throne room of the Kingdom of Dumbrock, her gaze immediately landing on her husband, King Ferguson.

King Ferguson stood tall, adorned in royal attire that shimmered under the golden chandeliers. "Welcome, my love," he declared, his voice echoing through the vast chamber.

Queen Elena smiled warmly, her heart swelling with admiration for her husband.

"Thank you, my love," she said softly, her voice filled with warmth and affection.

"Are the messages ready to be sent to the kingdom?" Elena inquired, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

King Ferguson nodded, a serious expression crossing his face as he replied, "They are prepared, my dear." He gestured toward a table laden with scrolls, each sealed with the royal crest. "We must ensure our message reaches every corner of Dumbrock," he added, his tone firm yet reassuring.

Elena stepped closer, her fingers brushing against the parchment as she replied, "Let us send them at once, then."

King Ferguson smiled at her eagerness, appreciating her determination. "Indeed, time is of the essence, especially before King Arthur and his daughter arrive at the palace," he said, signaling to his advisors to begin the preparations for distribution.

Queen Elena says, "Agree."

Elena then asked her husband, "Which kingdoms are we sending messages to?"

King Ferguson paused, considering the importance of their alliances. "We are sending messages to Eldoria, Vespera, and the Northern Isles," he replied.

Elena then says, "Are we sending messages to other kingdoms besides Eldoria, Vespera, and the Northern Isles?"

King Ferguson nodded thoughtfully. "Yes, we will also reach out to Caledonia and the Southern Territories to come and meet Princess Rhaneys."

"Agree," says Elena. "Why don't we send an invitation to the Kingdom of Alicante?"

King Ferguson raised an eyebrow at the suggestion. "Alicante has always been a bit distant from our kingdom, but perhaps this could be an opportunity to strengthen ties."

Elena smiled, sensing the potential for a new alliance. "Exactly," she replied. Then she says, "Who are the King and Queen of Eldoria, my love?"

King Ferguson thought for a moment before answering. "King Alaric and Queen Isolde rule over Eldoria; they are wise and fair, but their loyalties can be complex."

Elena nodded and replied, "I see. How many princes and princesses are there in the royal family?"

"There are three princes and two princesses," King Ferguson explained. "Each one has their own unique strengths and challenges, which often makes for a lively court."

Elena then asked, "What are the names of the three princes and two princesses?"

King Ferguson smiled. "The princes are Prince Cedric, Prince Roland, and Prince Dorian. The princesses are Princess Lila and Princess Anya."

Elena inquired, "What are their ages?"

King Ferguson responded, "Prince Cedric is 18, Prince Roland is 16, and Prince Dorian is 14. Princess Lila is 20, while Princess Anya is 22."

Queen Elena smiled at the information. "So they are in the same age ranges as some of our children."

King Ferguson nodded, his expression thoughtful. "Indeed, it could lead to some interesting friendships—or perhaps even alliances—between our families."

Elena nodded in agreement with her husband. "That sounds like a wonderful idea," she replied, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

Elena then turned her attention to her husband. "What can you tell me about King Alaric?" she inquired, eager to learn more about the neighboring monarch.

King Ferguson leaned back, contemplating his response. "King Alaric is known for his wisdom and fairness, qualities that have earned him respect among his people," he explained. "He has a strategic mind, which has helped maintain peace in the region," he continued, a hint of pride in his voice. "His diplomatic skills are second to none, making him a valuable ally."

Elena listened intently, appreciating the significance of strong leadership in their political landscape. "It sounds like he would be a great addition to our gatherings," she remarked.

"Indeed, his insights could greatly enhance our discussions," he replied, nodding thoughtfully.

Elena then turned to her husband and asked, "What is Queen Isolde like?"

He paused for a moment, considering his words carefully. "She is known for her wisdom and compassion," he explained. "Her ability to connect with people makes her a beloved figure in the kingdom."

Elena nodded, intrigued by the prospect of meeting such an influential leader.

Elena then turned to her husband and asked, "What is their eldest daughter, Princess Anya, like?"

He smiled and replied, "Anya is spirited and curious, always eager to learn more about the world." "She has a natural charm that draws people in," he continued. "Her kindness and determination make her a true asset to their family."

Elena beamed with pride, envisioning Anya's future. "I hope she inherits Queen Isolde's wisdom as well," she mused.

"With her potential, I'm sure she will," he assured her, confidence in his voice.

Elena's curiosity shifted to Princess Lila of Eldoria. "What about Lila? How does she compare to Anya?"

He paused, considering his words before answering, "Lila is graceful and diplomatic, a natural peacemaker." "Her ability to unite people is remarkable," he added, a hint of admiration in his tone. "Both princesses have their unique strengths, complementing each other beautifully."

Elena nodded thoughtfully, appreciating the balance they brought to their kingdom. "It sounds like they will lead with wisdom together," she said, envisioning a bright future for Eldoria.

"Indeed," he agreed, "their combined qualities will surely create harmony among their people."

"What do you think about Prince Cedric of Eldoria?" she asked her husband, curious about his thoughts.

"Cedric is known for his bravery and intelligence," he replied, considering the prince's reputation.

"He seems like a strong ally for the princesses," she noted, feeling optimistic.

"Absolutely, his leadership will complement their strengths perfectly," he said, smiling at the thought.

Elena inquired about Prince Roland, the second-born son of Eldoria. "What qualities does he possess?" she asked, intrigued by his character.

Her husband pondered for a moment before responding, "Roland is known for his creativity and compassion."

"Those traits will be essential in uniting the kingdom," she remarked, feeling hopeful.

"Indeed, his ability to understand the needs of the people will serve him well," he added, appreciating his son's potential. "I'm excited to see how he will grow alongside his siblings," she said, envisioning a bright future.

"With Cedric's bravery and Roland's empathy, they will make a formidable team," he concluded, sharing her enthusiasm.

Elena turned to her companion and inquired about Prince Dorian, the youngest son of Eldoria. "What qualities does he possess that might contribute to the kingdom?" she asked thoughtfully.

"Dorian may be young, but he has a remarkable curiosity and a keen sense of justice," he replied, considering the boy's potential. "These traits could inspire the next generation and lead to positive change," he added, reflecting on Dorian's future role.

"I hope he finds his path while supporting his brothers," Elena remarked, imagining the bond they would share.

"Together, they could create a legacy of unity and strength for Eldoria," he agreed, feeling the weight of their responsibilities.

"I agree, my love," says Elena with sincerity in her tone.
