"What the hell?" Zephyr murmured, glancing around. "This wasn't part of the plan…"
"Neither was this," came a voice behind him. "But fate always has a strange sense of humor."

She stood there with her black and gold hair cascading over her shoulders, her eyes glowing faintly violet, her armor partially cracked and scuffed. Her wings were folded close to her back, glimmering like woven starlight.
