"Mamma, Papà noooo!"
That was when I woke up drenched in sweat my cheeks wet from tears that slid down slowly.
I have been having this nightmare for years now it's more like a dream but to me it's a nightmare.
It always starts with little me laughing happily surrounded by two blurry faces I can't quite see clearly even though I can't see them the feeling of happiness,love and safety can't be hidden or mistaken.
I am overjoyed as the man shaped blur carries me. I giggle reaching out as the other laughs warning him not to drop me.
I know what you're thinking its not bad that was how I felt until the scenery changes. Now I am in what seems like a wide room litered by dead bodies.
I don't care about the dead bodies I was only concerned about the two who were laying at my feet drenched in blood one already long dead.
The other— the man is barely hanging on.
He fought and slowly stretched his hands to my face filled with tears drawing me closer to his mouth before whispering something I couldn't quite understand but it sounded like. "AVENGE US LILLY" that is when I wake up.
I don't know why but whenever I wake up from that nightmare I am always drained and angry it was almost as if I had been running all night but I knew that was impossible.
Why would I be angry for two people I don't even know and what did he mean by "AVENGE US LILLY" my name was Lillith why was that man calling me Lilly?could that be a short way of saying it? Was this really a nightmare or a fragment of my memory? A memory I didn't remember.
These questions would flood my mind eventually drowning me in them but over time I developed away of pushing them.
All these would be more simple if I could just remember thier faces.
"Madam you have woken up" i heard startling me. I guess I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't realise when Robert the butler walked into my room.
Robert was a middle-aged man and from what I have seen so far it seemed like he had been working here ever since he was a young boy.
I have only known him for like a day but he was really nice and sweet a complete contradiction to his boss.
Speaking of boss I didn't see Dante yesterday I wonder if he has come back from the business he went to attend. You know what I think it for the best I don't see him.
"Are you okay madam?" He asked jotling me from my thoughts again I just smilled at him not bothering to say anything.
"I had the maids prepare a bath for you your clothes have already been placed out for you as well" he said pointing towards the Dark satin dress laying on the couch.
From what i could see it seemed like an off shoulder bodycon with a thigh–high slit on the floor I could see black stilettos with gold accents.
"Robert you are aware that I'm not going for a party or anything right?" I asked to make sure because from how I was seeing if it seemed that way.
"Of course I am aware Madam that was why I told them to bring this dress" I just stared dumbfounded at him.
If this was what he called casual then what was formal . A diamond stubbed ball gown?
There is no use fighting with him I should just go bath. Right now I needed food.
"After you're done bathing you will head over to the dining room where your husband is waiting for you then start your training after your done" he said as I walked over to the bathroom.
Buy I couldn't hear anything else after "Where your husband is waiting for you" Dante was back? Not only that but also was waiting for me to eat breakfast.
He should have started the morning saying that.

I didn't take a lot of time bathing infact I didn't take anytime at all I just went in and came out.
When I came out I say about five maids waiting for me so they can help dressing me up. I proceeded to tell then to leave I could handle everything myself to which they reluctantly agreed.
I don't think I can get used to this my new life style back at the Carrington place I wasn't treated like this I didn't even have 1 maid now I had 5? Wild.
Once dressed I put on a diamond drop earrings, thin gold chain and a dark red lipstick complementing my dress.
I checked if everything was okay amd when I was satisfied I turned and left the room.
Robert was waiting for me outside which I was grateful for I don't think I remember the way to the dining hall.
"When did Dante arrive yesterday?" I asked after a while of walking in silence. I was genuinely curious had he come after I slept?
"Lord Dante arrived this morning" he replied making me squint a little. This morning?
Before I could say anything else we had already reached the massive dining room Robert walked over and opened the huge door waiting for me to walk Inside before closing it behind me.
There he was THE DEVIL himself.
When he saw me something flashed In his eyes something I couldn't quite understand. Was it Lust? Possession? Mischief?
"You're looking quite ravishing Amore Mio" he said smirking I didn't say anything I just walked over and sat down.
"You're looking good yourself" I replied watching as his smirk widened.
This time he was wearing a suit his long hair was let loose falling freely on his shoulder.
He was even more handsome with his hair down.
"You are aware that your training starts today right?" He asked as we began eating I nodded thinking for a while before asking.
"What kind of training are we talking about here?"
"Nothing you need to worry yourself about. They are just some basic things you need to know before you become my wife" he replied for some reason it didn't help in calming me down.
"Is there anything you would like to discuss with me? Any issues that might be bothering you?" He asked
"Yeah" i said gesturing to the gown "This dress, can you tell Robert to give me something comfortable to wear I can't do anything in these. I'm not walking the red carpet you know" I said for now that was all I wanted.
"I see" he replied chuckling. "I will inform him"
"What kind of dresses do you like?" He asked I just shrugged before replying.
"Just some joggers and shirt will do" I replied and he nodded.
"Sure anything for you Amore Mio" Gosh this again when will he stop calling me that.
