After Abby left the office, silence returned once more. At this point Ashley has lost the courage to tell him, he looked a bit upset judging from his expression.
"You were saying something.."
Cameron reminded her as he reached for one of the food containers. He didn't raise his head to look at her since he was deeply concentrated on the meal he was having.
"Ahh.. it's fine..it can wait for now. I don't want you choking on your meal.."
Cameron gave a nod, normally he'd have persisted that she told him but funny enough, he wasn't really paying attention. He crushed on every single dish like he has been starved for ages.
And when he was done eating, he placed his cutlery on his empty plate. A deep sigh of satisfaction left his lips. He felt full and somewhat fulfilled if that makes any sense.
"That was the best meal I've had in a long time.."
