For the second time in five minutes, Cameron declined Àlvaro's calls. Whatever emergency that it was, the latter could fix it as long as Ashley was by his side nothing else mattered.
He noticed how she avoided looking in his direction and it only pissed him off. Abby and his grandfather made a big mistake by doing this today.
"Say something...you're too quiet"
Ashley turned her neck to stare at him briefly before shaking her head slowly. There's nothing for her to say, his family misunderstood her intentions for another wrong motive.
"Ignore what he said, I'll not let anything happen to you. I promise.." His voice sounded calm and his blue eyes peered softly on her.

Ashley gasped when Cameron suddenly held her chin up. He leaned closer to her face with a glare.
