POV: Ember
I threw open the front door before Cade could even knock, making him jump backward in surprise.
"We're having a family meeting," I announced, grabbing his arm and pulling him inside. "Right now."
"Ember, what's going on?" Cade asked, looking confused.
"Ash!" I called toward the kitchen. "Get in here. Both of you, sit down."
Hope and Hunter were playing with blocks in the corner, but I could see them watching us with worried expressions. They always knew when something was wrong between the adults.
"Kids, go play in your room for a little bit," I said gently. "Mommy needs to talk to your daddies."
"Are you in trouble?" Hope asked Ash with wide eyes.
"No, sweetheart. We just need to have a grown-up conversation."
After the twins went upstairs, I turned to face both men. My heart was pounding, but I'd made up my mind during the sleepless night.
"This stops today," I said firmly.
"What stops?" Cade asked.
