c81: Changes in the Future! Mysterious Dark Man
Future.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
In the still of night, massive explosions erupted, and hemispheres of destructive energy illuminated the sky!
A once-prosperous metropolis lay in ruins.hazy smoke, shattered buildings, chilling screams an apocalypse of despair.
Unthinkable. This was Earth's future and far worse than the Android threat.
Humanity was reduced to lambs awaiting slaughter, rats fleeing aimlessly none could predict when the next strike would come.
Amid the rubble, a lone youth strode forward, sword strapped to his back. He dared not make a sound, for fear of attracting the attention of something dreadful...
Short blue hair, sharp features he bore a striking resemblance to Vegeta. Anyone from Capsule Corp or Goku's circle would instantly recognize him as Future Trunks.
His clothes were torn, his body wounded. He pressed on, anxiety fueling his pace as he raced toward somewhere unknown.
Boom!
A massive explosion tore through the air nearby. Fire and shockwaves demolished everything in a 50-meter radius.
Trunks halted. Anger pure, murderous fury.flashed in his eyes. But he did not attack. He stood, watching the devastation unfold.
"Damn you… Dark man… I'll never forgive you!" he muttered, sealing away his ki. He dared not expose any aura not even a flicker.
If that being sensed him… death would follow instantly.
He scanned the ruins and saw a faint silhouette in the distance.ominous and regal.
He locked eyes with the figure for a few long seconds. Then, head lowered, he slipped back into the shadows and disappeared into the night.
Minutes later—Trunks was gone.
Above the destroyed city, a lone, dark-clad figure hovered. Its eyes were cold, scanning. It seemed to be searching.
"You got away too fast, kid…" it mused. "But as long as you're on Earth, I'll find you Trunks… heh heh." A crooked smile. Then poof, it vanished.

Elsewhere, Trunks returned to a hidden bunker where an older future Bulma waited.
"Mom!" he called softly.
Bulma her blonde hair streaked with gray flinched, then her face lit with relief. "Trunks! You're back!"
Their embrace was quiet… hard-won.
"How's the city?" she asked.
Sorrow clouded Trunks's face. "I failed…" he shook his head.
Bulma, voice firm yet gentle: "That's okay. You did your best. But this Dark Man… he's unstoppable."
Trunks clenched his fists. "He killed so many. If Goku and the others were alive… they wouldn't let this happen!"
Bulma paused, then eyes brightened. She pulled a cylinder from her equipment—it glowed with pale liquid.
"This," she said, "is time-machine fuel."
Trunks recognized it at once. Enough to power one jump through time.
She sighed: "It took ages to collect even this much. But… it might be our only hope."
Trunks didn't hesitate. "We can go back. We can stop him. We can save everyone."
Bulma handed him capsules and the fuel. "But you must leave before the Dark Man finds this place."
He nodded. "I will. I'll save Mom, our world… and her." He hesitated, then kissed her cheek.
Bulma smiled through tears. "My brave son."
As they spoke, a sudden explosion rocked the bunker...
---
On Earth—ten days later.
Goku and Vegeta continued their training with Beerus. Peace reigned unlike the bleaker future Trunks had seen.
Luya had disappeared three days earlier, taking the Time Room key code from the Temple of Time.
Though warned by Master Roshi and others, he made himself a makeshift gate no one could stop him.
Inside the Time Room, Luya honed his Flash Time and godly combat skills nonstop.
Progress, however, slowed. His gains, once rapid, had leveled off just like Goku and Vegeta had once hit walls after reaching Blue and Ultra Instinct.
Even deep in the room, his strongest ki bursts produced less improvement. His vitality had plateaud; he needed to grow it further to unlock new forms.
Luya had reached Super Saiyan God and was now chasing Blue.
His goal: master divine energy and unlock Ultra Instinct–style freedom of mind.
He'd found his own path.melding Flash Time, God ki, and enhanced mental clarity.
But breaking into Blue or beyond... that would require deeper breakthroughs. Still, he was determined to continue, no matter how many walls he hit.
