Chapter 80: Destroying Superhuman Water! Back to Normal
"Asshole!! Stop!!" Vegeta barked, his face twisted with rage. The pacifier dropped from his mouth as his body flickered and shimmered, becoming almost spectral.
Kra-boom!
At that critical moment, an orange-clad figure Goku swooped down in front of Trunks without hesitation and unleashed an explosive blast mid-air. Instantly, the Superhuman Water evaporated into misty vapor!
"Ahhh!!" The fake Vegeta screamed in agony as the water clone disintegrated.
"Now!!!" Kaiō-ken echoed as Luya roared, returning to his natural form. In a flash of crimson ki with the red training suit from the God Realm arc, he unleashed a rapid Kaiō Fist barrage 18 consecutive strikes!
"Turtle! Pie! Qi! Gong!!!"
The barrage carried a devastating force. The fake Vegeta, unable to defend, took the full brunt and was vaporized like the Superhuman Water.
With his impostor gone, Vegeta's body tied to the clone flared and immediately solidified, returning to normal.
It's over!
Luya exhaled sharply, steadying himself. He turned toward Goku and Vegeta, breathing heavy but triumphant.
"Dad!" Trunks cried, running to hug Goku.
Goku clapped Vegeta on the back. "You okay, Vegeta?"
Vegeta shrugged. "I'm fine."
Goku scanned the area. "By the way... why did you guys come all the way here alone? Vegeta didn't even tell me!" he asked, confused.
Vegeta said flatly, "Bulma asked me to pick them up when they snuck onto Monaka's spaceship. That's all."
"Monaka?!" Goku's eyes flicked to the unconscious Monaka alongside a groggy Monaca. "What happened?"
Turns out, Monaca fainted after stepping on the Superhuman Water clone.
An aged figure appeared King Kai, who bowed gratefully to Goku and the group. "Thank you. You snuffed out the threat perfect. Without you, this universe could've collapsed."
Goku waved his hand. "No biggie!"
Trunks shook his head. "If Luya hadn't stepped in, we'd all be goners!"
Luya smiled. "I picked up its residual energy and followed it here."
Vegeta narrowed his eyes. "Enough chatter. Let's head home." He summoned everyone with a snap.
Moments later, King Kai, Monaca, and Goku waved their goodbyes and teleported back to Earth.
Bulma rushed out as soon as they arrived. She snatched Trunks by the ears and scolded: "Where were you?!"
Goku chuckled and ducked away, relieved the scolding wasn't for him.
Suddenly, Chi-Chi appeared "Goten?!".and yanked Goten by the wrist for her own lecture.
Ignoring the scolding duo, Vegeta eyed Luya. "Explain again: how can you transform into a Super Saiyan God?"
Just then, King Kai glanced at Luya, curious too: "You… Super Saiyan God?"
Luya nodded calmly. "By analyzing the ki of five Saiyans and mimicking their energy fusion—I succeeded, by accident."
"Come on!" Goku exclaimed, surprised but enthused. "You fought after that, with me, Vegeta, Gohan, and Gotenks? Incredible! You're nearly at Super Saiyan Blue—train hard and you'll get there!"
Luya grinned. "I will!"
"When you're Blue, you've got to spar with me!" Goku beamed.
Luya nodded in agreement.
"Hmph," Vegeta grunted. "Don't forget Luya also mastered Hit's Flash Time!"
King Kai cut in: "Not surprising. Luya learned my Turtle Qigong and instant teleportation. Flash Time is powerful, but breakable. It just needs hard training."
Vegeta snorted. "A single-celled water monster, that's all," and stalked off.
Goku watched Vegeta leave, then turned to Luya. "Want to train together soon?"
Luya paused, thought it over, then nodded: "Sounds good!"
King Kai laughed. "Good! I just regained my full strength I need a sparring partner!"
Luya welcomed the challenge; he hungered to master Super Saiyan God.
Over the next few days, Goku (in Super Saiyan Blue) and Luya (in Super Saiyan God) trained on a remote island near Capsule Corp. Luya's Flash Time grew stronger its duration stretched beyond 0.5 seconds, and his efficiency skyrocketed. He and Goku leveled up significantly.
Five days later, just as they prepared to resume, Beerus and Whis appeared at Bulma's mansion.
Luya and Goku greeted them two food-loving deities on Earth for new dishes.
Dinner was a feast. Afterwards, Goku and Vegeta prepared to depart with Whis.
Vegeta paused but then decided to train with them too. Seeing the offer, King Kai quickly raised a hand to join.
Luya shook his head. "I'll stay and train on Earth got to sort out some bugs in my techniques."
Goku and Vegeta nodded in understanding. Whis smiled approvingly.
And so, Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, Whis, and King Kai departed.
Luya returned home and immediately resumed training. He knew the next threat was already looming.
Meanwhile, on Earth and beyond the universe stirred with far greater challenges ahead…
