Little baby basilisk was becoming known through out Red Woods. The large snake getting bigger by the day. People made sure to look away when he was around for fear of making eye contact. If turned to stone, that was it.
Sous walked to the council hall of Red Woods on the humans side. She stepped into the doors and made her way through the chairs and benches. The wolves on the council seats looked at her, fear immediate in their eyes.
"I will negotiate with you," Sous said. "Step down, four of you. Step down and give the four seats to humans."
BOW!
SNATCH!
Sous caught the bullet right before it landed into the back of her skull. She looked at it, seeing it was a silver bullet. She crushed it with her hand, the debris falling to the ground in a little heap.
Toward the open doors was a wolf who was pointing a nine mm gold and black glock at her. He pulled the trigger. Sous caught the bullet. He continued to shoot while Sous continued to catch the bullets.
The wolf tried to shoot once more but that was it. No more bullets. Sous had all the bullets in her hands. She crushed them all but for one. She opened her palm, the bullet resting in the center. She brought the palm up close to her nose, closed one eye, and flicked her finger at the bullet.
GLACK!
The silver bullet went through the wolf's head. He fell to the floor. A puddle of blood began to form.
Sous turned around to the wolves. "My apologies. We were interrupted. Who was stepping down again?"
Four wolves raised their hands and removed themselves from the bench.
"Tilkalde!" The ground began to crack underneath Faye's hand. The earth opened and the dead came from the ground. She stood forward facing the council building. "The dead, they do my bidding. Make just of the humans and any other species that occupies this space!" She yelled at the members.
Sous stepped out of the council building and walked down the steps.
CLING!
Sous moved her head and saw Faye block a punch from Zhiliary with her threading needle. Faye slid back on the ground. Zhiliary came forth with a kick to Sous who blocked it with her knee. Sous crouched down with one leg forward and the other leg bent. She was low to the ground with one arm downward angled with the down leg while the other arm was upward.
Zhiliary charged toward Sous with an attacked that allowed Sous to kick her bottom leg upward, knocking Zhiliary in her chin. Zhilary flipped backwards and performed a flip kick at Sous, hitting her on the shoulder. Sous stumbled back, taken aback.
Faye watched from the sides, her dead already getting to work with guarding the streets, the community.
"You rapist." Sous snarled.
"Its not rape if you pay for it."
Sous yelled at Zhiliary and soared toward. She grabbed Zhiliary by her collar, twisted her hip, and threw her to the side. Zhiliary landed on her feet and quickly came at Sous. She performed a strike toward Sous' eyes who dodged it. Sous got low and performed a knee jump, knocking Zhiliary in the stomach.
Both women grabbed onto one another.
"What, you think you can kill me?" Sous mocked.
"Not now, but later."
Sous attempted to punch Zhiliary through the chest but Zhiliary managed to block it to Sous' surprise. The wolf had been training.
Faye jumped up and twisted around, landing behind Zhiliary. She dabbed her needle forward. Zhiliary dodged out of the way while Sous pushed the needle to the side to avoid getting stab.
Zhiliary jumped on top of the building, looking down at the young teenage girls then disappeared.
Sous sat on the porch of her shack. Monica and Shadow sat near her with their legs crossed.
Monica managed to find the map that consisted of the forty or so projects that Apex had under their control. Sous was able to see Dimona was under Paya's watch, along with the Valley of Trey.
"Look, here is the red light district. Your mother could be there." Shadow pointed out.
Sous looked at the piece of paper, moving it closer to her. The brothels were in a district that was far east to the country of Canas. Sous had never even been on that side of the country before. How long would it even take to get there?
"I never been to any of these provinces or cities. There are so many red light districts here. That's disgusting. Are they all victims?"
"We don't know." Shadow said.
"What should I do?" Sous asked. Her young brain demonstrating she still lacked experience. "Should I try and find her or..." She began to stutter, grabbing at her hair. "I don't, I don't know."
Monica placed her arm around Sous. "Sous, go back to school. You've done so much already. Shadow and I will do some digging. We'll try and narrow it down to some locations regards to your mother."
Little baby basilisk squirmed around the woods around her house. He fed on the large spiders that were further south and spent most of his time in that region when he wasn't helping Sous.
Sous stood up on her porch followed by Monica and Shadow. She gave the paperwork back to Monica. It was confirmed. Monica and Shadow would try and narrow down the districts and Sous would just have to distract herself with school.
