Chapter 94 - The Vampires of Grim Arc: Three

Faye jumped into the other cart. She closed the door behind her. The gust of wind and snow getting even stronger as the night grew on.

She walked down the aisle, seeing zero humans alive except one. Towards the back of the cart, a woman was alive.

Faye gritted her teeth and held her out her needles. The same woman who was still barely clinging onto life was having her blood sucked right of her.

Faye lept into the air toward the vampire. She was about to strike down but the male vampire pulled out a two barrel shot gun. He aimed and shot at Faye.

The bullet grazed her as she nearly escaped it. She landed on one of the seats. The vampire eyeing her as he still sucked on his victim. His victim pleading with Faye to save her through her eyes.

Faye attempted to attack the vampire once more but with a quickness, the vampire quickly swapped his shot gun for a colt .35. He pulled the trigger.

This time Faye was ready for it. She used her needle to swapt the bullet away. It soared to one of the windows. It broke it instantly allowing the cold chill to come into the train's cart.

She continued to charge at him and he shot another bullet at her that she dodged. He shot another one that she blocked. When she got close enough to stab him in his unbeating heart, he dispersed into a dozen bats.

The vampire kept the victim in the claws of the bats and flew her over to the other end of the cart.

Faye ran along side the seats and jumped at the victim. An attempt to catch her but she landed empty handed within the aisle.

The vampire came together again and smirked at Faye while his fangs were still in the woman.

The woman, Faye saw the life slowly draining from her eyes as her body became more frail with each ounce of blood that left her.

The vampire changed his colt and took his shot gun back out, shooting it at Faye. She ducked under the seat, upset with herself for not being able to save the woman.

She looked up from where she was and saw the vampire drop the victim.

Thud!

Her body laid limp on the ground. Nothing spilled from her, for all of her blood was gone.

Faye walked back into the aisle and the vampire stepped to her. In one hand he had his shot gun and in the other, he had his colt. Within his jacket, Faye saw even more guns. Like he was the vampire version of Shadow.

The vampire flew into the air and switched his shot gun and colt out for two glocks. He pointed and aimed at Faye.

It rain down bullets with her using her needles to block off each one. The windows in the cart breaking, glass flying through out the scene.

Clash!

Crack!

She used her needles to thread toward him, wrapping his glocks with her thread with a tightness, the tips of the glocks broke off.

Faye flipped over the vampire, landing on another seat.

"Tsk," the vampire complained. He dropped his glocks, and took hold of two revolvers from his jacket and began feeding the chambers with hollow point bullets. To the human eye, his movements would be that of a blur.

Faye charged at him while he was loading up his revolvers. She didn't want to give him any time. She slashed down on him, only to have him dispersed into bats once more.

The vampire turned up behind Faye and pulled the trigger. She dodged but he pulled the trigger again, and though his aim was sloppy, he shot her in the abdomen.

The pain was instant.

She fell down in between the seats. The hollow point bullet broke into many pieces as it made impact. Spreading fragments throughout her body, tearing her organs as they traveled.

"Fuck!" She spit out blood, holding onto her wound.

The shoes of the vampire made themselves present with each step he took. He stood before Faye.

"Voodoo blood isn't as good as human blood." He left her and walked to the end of the train and picked up a keg that was out of eye shot, and had been resting against the wall. He walked back to Faye. "You know what...I should get anothet keg just for you. Your blood ain't shit but I'm sure it'll get us something."

Throughout the entire time he spoke, Faye had no idea what he was saying. He wasn't speaking Atin. Was probably speaking Den Den, she guessed.

Faye collapsed on the floor. She heard the cart door open from the opposite side of where the vampire left through. Tany slid on the ground and turned Faye over.

"I heard the shots. Aquasenere! Tsk," Tany realized the bullets were in fragments in Faye's body. She moved her wand away. She couldn't just heal the wounds with the fragments left in. She'd need to get in internally and pull the fragments out like a magnet then heal the internal organs then the external wounds.

Using her wand like a scalpel with a burning tip, she cut a hole into the side of Faye. Disinfecting her wand with its own self cleaner, she placed the wand into Faye's side.

"Keep breathing," she encouraged the young priestess.

The wand's tip transformed into a magnet and began to pull the fragments toward the tip. Tany took the wand out about three times, each time small fragments were stuck on the end of the wand. She put the wand in for the last time to heal the organs.

Faye began to breathe better as they healed up. Tany let out a sigh. She took the wand out and began to heal the external organs.

She helped Faye sit up with her back against the seats of the train. She was shivering with the amount of blood that she lost, the weather was having an impact on her.

The same spell she used to warm the whole train, was the spell she used on Faye.

Faye smiled at her then shook her head. She attempted to stand up but stumbled a bit, only to have Tany help her.

"Man, those bullets suck."

"Yeah, I only know how to heal them because back in Vania, there were a few gang wars among the humans. That was their favorite bullet to use. To save their lives, the three sisters were often recruited to come to Vania's hospital to help."

Faye had her arm around Tany as the witch escorted her to a vacant seat. She looked around, saddened to see so many dead humans.

"The vampire may be coming back. Do you think Sous is carrying her healing or shield potions?"

"I don't know if she brought her belt with her. Get your wand ready," Faye said, still in tremendous amount of pain and expecting the vampire to come back any moment.
