Nyrix and Amanda had finally made their way inside cafe and sat down at a window seat, as they were waiting for the waiter to take their order Amanda suddenly spoke up her tone devoid of any warmth "hey don't you want to get revenge on them?" She said with an unnatural smile that seemed to pull him in.
"Yes I want to take revenge on them." He coldly spat which he was quickly surprised as he would've never said this before, unbeknownst to him Amanda's smile suddenly twisted into something… inhumane but quickly transformed back before he saw her.
"Just do as I say and I can help you destroy anyone in your way." Amanda said to Nyrix as he smiled back but the eerie feeling of something being wrong kept bugging him as it was getting harder to ignore it. Amanda gave Nyrix a contract paper and said "here sign this and you can get your revenge." And handed him a pen.
He was just about to sign it but his hand suddenly froze as he frowned. "What are you doing hurry up and sign it!" Amanda quickly said her voice unintentionally raising, his head was buzzing he was trying to remember what he used to do what his past was yet to no avail he couldn't remember as the only thing in his head was the urge to get revenge.
"You… your not Amanda." He coldly spat dropping the pen staring at her. "What nonsense are you babbling on about." She said practically yelling at him yet no one in the cafe seemed to care. "You see there is one flaw in the illusion, its that it can't replicate past memories of those who don't belong in this world." He spat before he suddenly lunged at her with his pen trying to stab her neck while his other hand tried to grab her.
Of course he knew this as there was a transmigrater in his story that he wrote and the illusion couldn't replicate the past memories of that person, and that quickly allowed him to realize something was off and finally remembered that he was not in his old world anymore.
As the pen was mere centimeters away from her neck the building suddenly shook… no it was as if the whole world was shaking as cracks formed on the floors and walls. Amanda looked at him and smiled a smile that was devoid of coldness or warmth its was… empty "you have cleared the trial with nothing but intuition and your sheer soul congratulations you have proven yourself to have the seed." As the illusion was coming to an end there was a flicker of sadness in her eyes that was quickly gone.
"Hey wa-" before he could say anything the illusion shattered and he woke up on the cold hard ground, he had conquered the illusion and earned the right to get the seed of yggdrasil all that was left was to claim it.
