'Huh I can see why my novel never became famous I really was lazy.' I stared at two portals humming slightly in the dark cave or room? One was an exit back to the library and the other was an entrance to the ancient library that was where the rest of the items I needed were.
With a sigh Nyrix finally stepped through the portal leading to the ancient library.
My body disappeared as the world turned black and I emerged in the library before I could take a step however I vomited. 'I never want to do this again!' I yelled inwardly as I managed to calm my insides. The library was beautiful in words I could never describe as I stopped and admired the sight before I got back to my senses.
Nyrix walked through the library that held hundreds of if not thousands of books on all types of subjects. Nyrix then started to grab some booked and put it in his hoodie.
As Nyrix grabbed the most valuable books he could find and pause and looked at a certain green book, it was the book he was looking for.
As he was reaching out to grab the book a green light shined brightly making Nyrix cover his eyes. When the light faded Nyrix found himself in a field of grass with nothing surrounding him.
"Oh? I didn't expect someone to visit." A mysterious voice that sounded as if hundreds of people were talking at the same rang out as Nyrix turned to face the owner of this voice.
A man with stunning jet black hair and eyes so red they seemed like they were made out of blood stared at him with seemingly detached curiosity. The man continued to speak with the same eerie voice.
"Not just anyone can come here and even after hearing my voice you didn't go insane." I stared as my eyes shot opened realizing the danger I got myself in. "Insane? How…"
Black hair and blood red eyes… the characteristics of a vampire. "I am a great vampire who lived for thousands of years and drank the blood of millions." He stared at me with indifference yet that curious light never left his eyes.
"It's quit curious… state your purpose for coming to my spirit realm." The spirit realm a realm where one's spirit leaves there body to converse to other spirits, as such only extremely strong people or special beings could enter.
"I wish to learn the blood art of kilios." As there was no point in lying I said what I needed and waited for his words. "My blood art? Why would a huma- wait that blood." His expression suddenly shifted as his curiosity suddenly became confusion.
"Alright I'll impart my knowledge of the blood art to you since it's a waste to let it die." Saying that he started walking towards me, his hand slowly raising towards my head.
"If you don't go brain dead or insane you shall become incredibly strong in the future." He said as I felt mana coalescing into his hand "Wait what did you just sa-" before I could finish my brain suddenly gained an influx of knowledge as all sorts of power entered my body.
"I'll also change your body a little to fit my vampiric style." As more mana started flowing through my body as if I was a conductor. My body felt extremely hot and it seemed like my soul was burning from the inside out, I opened my mouth to scream but no sound came out.
And then I blacked out.
