"Hyung," Seojin called. He was surprised to see Valentin. The judge didn't tell him that he was going to be in Pohang, too.
Reopening the purple gate again, he pushed the puzzled students inside the dark space. Suddenly, the waves towered over their heads, casting an eerie shadow. Valentin reached out his hand to grab Seojin, but Seojin pushed him inside the gate. The boy didn't know what the weird gate was, but he knew that Valentin would be safe in it.
"I'll be fine," Seojin mouthed, reassuring Valentin.
Seeing the judge safely landing at the gate, Seojin smiled, relieved. He didn't know why, but he felt like he wouldn't die that easily. He clutched the scarf Valentin had gifted him and let the waves devour him.
The students of Baekho High School walked out of the gate confused. The gate was directly connected to the school. What just happened? Weren't they on a school trip? How did they return to school so fast?

As he walked closer to the coast, Valentin noticed the beige scarf beside a pile a debris. It was the scarf that he had gifted Seojin. The judge carefully moved away the pieces of debris. Luckily, the debris wasn't heavy.
Valentin sighed in relief when he saw Seojin's handsome face. Aside from his head injury, he only had small cuts on his body. Valentin quickly picked Seojin up and teleported to Haneul Hospital. He was worried about the injury on Seojin's head; it was bleeding unnaturally.
