Lyanna
I half lie on the bed, staring into the space. The pain in my leg has sucked up all the energy left in me, so I just stare into the space, letting my brain run wild— with nothing running through at all.
I just stay there– lost.
Just then, the door to my ward opens, revealing Irene, and.. Kael?
I arch my brows, my eyes darting between Irene, who is as red as a tomato, and Kael who has the most smug smile plastered on his face.
"Lyanna?" She rushes to my side, "How are you? Are you feeling better now?"
I just rest my head on her shoulder, still not ready to speak up yet. Her comforting hand pats my head making me feel more at ease.
"Nice to see you're doing well, Lyanna. I wish you a speedy recovery."
I tilt my head to look at Kael, who has a neutral expression on his face.
"Don't worry, Kai has been taken care of.." he purses his lips, "Hopefully he doesn't disturb you ever again."
My eyes widen slowly, "Oh, thank goodness," I breathe a sigh of relief.
