Ethan's pov
I'm Ethan Martinez born into a family of royals. I'm the first son of the king of lycans King Lucas Martinez and Late queen Martha Martinez. I have a little sister Ella Martinez.
What nobody knows is that I'm a tribird a creature of three species I know the first two in me but I don't know the last one which entered me when I was born it's about some kind of prophesy but I couldn't care less.
I have plans of being the king soon but that's after I find a mate I'm 17 I'll be 18 in two weeks and then I'll be able to perceive her and then I'd have to take the throne but I don't really want the throne it's all cause I'm next in line but if it was up to me I wouldn't want a mate nor a throne besides I don't think my personality makes it possible for my mate to love me too so it'll be a contract of sorts.
"That's what you think once we find out mate I'm keeping her your two year contract applies to only you" Max my lycan says.
"Leave him be he's deluding himself we need our mates to survive are you trying to end us all. I wonder how I got stuck with a human as stupid as you" my vampire Lucian says.
"Our mate is the one we're supposed to love and cherish the one we're destined with besides if she ever leaves after marking her you'll be ruined. It's part of the prophesy about...." my last being red starts but I cut him off before he can finish.
"I know the prophesy of a billion years ago whatever" I say in my head.
"He's said it a billion times it's the prophesy of a thousand years" Max says. "besides we don't know what creature he is" Lucian said.
I, Max and Lucian don't know what creature Red is and he won't tell us all we can see in the place of a being is red and there's not a specific shape it can take it turns into anything so we're lost.
And he won't say. We all seem to think he's a shape shifter but he doesn't answer nor does he talk unless it's about the crown, our mate or of course the prophesy.
The personality of my creatures are different Max is humorous and loves teasing but exceptionally strong.
Lucian is not as humorous but also loves to tease and is probably the most romantic out of all of us plus he's a great tactician.
While Red as you can already guess is well old and boring I barely relate with him.
They all tend to lose control on the 18th of every month for some reason Red says it's probably the day our mate was born but I don't see how that has to do with them losing control.
By losing control I first mean that they fight in my head and each try to take over my body even Red isn't exempted.
So my dad keeps me locked up in a room so the people of our kingdom or other kingdoms don't suspect anything or if they knew a creature like me existed I'd have been long dead.
No one knew what my mother was except my dad and I. Even my sister doesn't she was a vampire and they were mates my mom and dad I mean. But their union would have been despised and rejected.
But me the case would be much different cause my child could be a hybrid too and I'm a tribird. But my dad said because of the prophesy they will agree to me being king.
There's a knock on the door and I say come in then a maid comes in and I see it's my personal maid Tessa. She's wearing cropped top and a tight tiny skirt that stops just after her ass.
She's the one my creatures except red have sex with. "when you put it like that you make us look bad if you would find us our mate we wouldn't have to do stuff like this". "And we creature need sexual intimacy to keep us sane unlike you humans." " I'm not of the right age yet okay I'll find you your mate when I'm of age which is just in two weeks".
"Pathetic I don't get why humans take this long to age" Lucian says. "erm your majesty," Tessa interrupts my thoughts I raise my eyebrows up to answer as yes. I don't talk a lot actually except to my beings and my little sister and my dad sometimes. Cause I blame him for my mom's death but that's a story for another time.
"Do you want me to come and serve you now?" she asks without raising her head up. "no another time" red replies with my mouth. I raise my eyebrows up in surprise but I just nod at her and she takes it as her queue to leave.
"what was that all about?" I ask red. Because he normally never takes over my body to do anything so I don't block him unlike Max and Lucian.
" I just don't want to see you three indulging in stuff like that and I need to purify myself so no intercourse for the next two weeks." Red stated and the aura in my head made I, Max and Lucian shiver.
"Yes boss" Max said trying to cool the situation and Lucian just snorted and went to the back of my mind.
So I went to check on my little sister and when I passed my dad's study I overheard a discussion about Lucifer from my dad and his beta Frank.
"I heard that he's trying to break free from hell to get his daughter I mean how's that even possible how in the world ould the Lucifer have a daughter?" I asked my remaining beings.
"Well beats me I dunno" Max says. " I don't care I want a nap" Lucian says.
And so I went to my room and laid on the bed and stared at the roof remembering what my mom used to say.
Slowly I drift off to sleep. In my dream everything was okay, I was little again and was playing in the garden with my mom and she was reading me a story. I was asking questions along the way then everything went black and I was transported to a dark place.
Then I heared a strange voice say "when fire sleeps between the fangs...." find her and when you do never let her go.
I woke up with a start and asked my beings if they knew what all that was about they all had the same response they didn't.
I needed to clear my head so I wore my clothes picked my phone and went downstairs and asked a driver to drop me off at the mall.
My house is a little far away from the mall so it took about an hour to get there and before I got there I had the same strange dream again but this time I saw the glimpse of a girl my ages' back and when I tried to run to see her I saw that I couldn't move I was bound to a tree. And the same eerie voice kept repeating the statement.
I tried calling out to my beasts all to no avail it's like they were never there.
Then I sensed a strange presence before I saw it. I saw a guy he looked non human and he had a chilling smile. " If it isn't the tribird prince Ethan. You must be wondering why you're here. Well let me tell you a lot of things will be happening in the next few days and I'm here to warn you. You can call me your personal angel."
And then I woke up again sweating. This was not a dream and I called out to my beasts then they replied. I have to figure out what's happening. I finally got out of the car when we reached our destination.
