"Khun Nu, please don't be angry. I won't get so drunk that you have to carry me home like that again. I won't drink until I'm completely wasted like that anymore."
"Go ahead and drink. It's normal. Police always drink heavily when they get together." The young man walked back to the table, setting down orange juice and fresh milk.
"I haven't bought coffee yet," Anupap stared steadily into Atikom's eyes, his face calm as usual. "But I won't go pick you up again, whether to bring you to this house or somewhere else."
Atikom smiled wryly. So that's it...
"I'll go buy coffee for you." Atikom said.
Anupap smiled faintly, reaching out to touch the back of the officer's hand. "No need. Just finish your congee."
Anupap sat watching Atikom eat, thinking about last night. When he arrived at Sunset Pub, he found Atikom sprawled on a bench in front of the establishment, with security guards shooing away mosquitoes in a caring manner.
He wasn't surprised since Atikom seemed to be a regular. He lightly tapped the major's cheek to rouse him. The dazed drunk officer sat up, looked with bleary eyes and asked, "Who is it... Khun Nu? I missed you so much."
Anupap hesitated whether to take Atikom to his condo or not, thinking about having to pass the front gate security, possibly encountering building security staff, accidentally meeting reception staff before reaching the elevator. So he decided to bring him to his own place. At least there was P'Singh, the security guard who had become Atikom's close subordinate, to help carry, support, and drag the large man up to the room.
He felt both annoyed and embarrassed. Singh smiled knowingly when he thanked him for the help.
'Major Atikom. Don't make me deal with your philandering and hedonistic ways. I don't think I can handle this mission.'

Atid emerged from the bathroom, his body clean and white, his skin firm and smooth, already dried while in the bathroom.
Two small red marks on his broad chest made Tongrob want to pounce and lick them again.
Atid still wore a sullen expression, not speaking, annoyed that Tongrob was still sitting casually on the edge of the bed, not going anywhere...
"Khun Atid, please don't be angry. I was damaged too, you know," Tongrob couldn't help teasing the stern-faced young man. He looked cute when trying to act fierce, scary as hell.
"What damage did you suffer? I lost something. I always take good care of myself, and then this had to happen."
Tongrob smiled, rephrasing the young man's sentence in his mind: 'I carefully preserved my purity, and then I lost my virginity, almost got devoured.'
Atid paused, seeing Tongrob's uniform piled on a chair. He glanced at the desk, saw a gun holster lying there, a group photo of several young men in khaki uniforms in a frame nearby.
Tongrob was a police officer!. He had been assaulted by a police officer. He had lost his virginity to a police officer. No... he had accidentally been intimate with a police officer.
He was drunk and had been intimate with a protector of the peace. But calling him an oppressor of the peace would be more accurate.
He didn't like police, but he had been taken advantage of by a police officer while drunk!
Why was it always police officers coming in to ruin things...
Tongrob made him think of Major Atikom. The two seemed very similar. Even though their faces were different, both were dashingly handsome, tall and large, with similar playboy personalities.
Please don't let Tongrob know Atikom. Otherwise, this matter might reach Anupap's ears.
He especially didn't trust the smooth-talking guy sitting there smiling nearby.
"Where is my car?" Atid finished dressing. His shirt was wrinkled, several buttons missing. The young man felt irritated that Tongrob kept watching him dress. He wanted to tell him to leave the room but it seemed awkward, lest he be accused of being shy like a woman, or the 'bottom.'
He put on his pants while still wearing a towel because he was afraid Tongrob might see his private parts, not knowing this gave the lecherous officer a perfect opportunity to survey his rear end to his heart's content.
"Where is my belt?" Atid asked Tongrob without looking at him.
"Hmm, where could it be? Let me look. Last night I tore it off and threw it somewhere."
Atid was getting fed up with Tongrob's teasing remarks. He turned left and right looking for his belt and found it by the bed near black underwear which belonging to the officer.
The young man bent down to pick it up, forgetting that Tongrob was still sitting on the bed edge. His rear end thus floated prominently near the grinning face of the amorous Captain.
Getting ogled again, Atid...
"Your car is still at the pub. Don't worry. The guard is taking good care of it. Last night several cars were left behind."
Atikom's car and Thanin's car were probably still parked there. His dear friend Thanin had probably finished with the sassy girl in red by now.
"Where is the pub?"
"Vibhavadi. I'll take you to get it."
"No need. I can go myself." Atid couldn't quite remember the way. Last night he had driven aimlessly around Bangkok, passing the pub and stopping in casually out of boredom. He would call and ask a friend. Someone would know.
"Well, have breakfast first then. Come on, it'll get cold." Tongrob got up, moving closer.
Atid shifted away and walked to the door. He began to realize that Tongrob was much taller and heavier than him, probably as tall as Major Atikom. Deep in his heart, the young man couldn't help wondering: even if he hadn't been drunk, if Tongrob had assaulted him, would he have been finished? If threatened, held at gunpoint, tied up, what would he do... These police officers were all frighteningly capable.
Atid declined and quickly walked out to the living room. Looking for his shoes, he found one near the door and the other by the sofa against the wall.
Tongrob's apartment was fairly spacious, but messy.
A single male officer's room, what more could you expect?
The young man looked for socks but couldn't find them, so he decided to grab a pair of Tongrob's socks lying by the door to wear.
"I went out specially to buy this for you to eat. Don't waste my thoughtfulness. Come on, Khun Atid, don't be so angry. We were both drunk. These things happen. I like you so much I couldn't control myself. If you weren't so cute and appealing, even drunk I wouldn't have done anything to you. You didn't exactly resist me either, which shows you probably..."
"Last night I was drunk." Atid's voice was stern, emphasizing each syllable. He wanted to rush over, grab the officer's collar and punch him, but didn't dare because he was bigger. He might get beaten instead.
'This is insane. Why am I so unlucky?'
"Yeah right, you were drunk, but I saw you grabbing eagerly," Tongrob murmured quietly to himself, but the sharp-eared person putting on socks heard it.
'What do you mean by grabbing eagerly? Grabbing what?' Atid wondered.
'Even if people really like each other, they don't do this kind of thing. We've known each other less than a day and already been intimate.' He himself had been secretly in love with Anupap for years and still hadn't done anything together. They had barely even touched.
Anupap and I. My P'Nu. Then why would we ever do anything like this? How could we… Anupap didn't love me, and there would never be a chance now... no chance left for him.
Atid felt deeply pained. His brow furrowed, mouth pressed in a line, eyes beginning to redden, hurt by his own unrequited love. Why didn't Anupap love him at all...
Tongrob stood watching. Seeing the young man's face change, he was puzzled.
'What's this? Just losing his virginity a little last night, acting like a young maiden losing her chastity.'
The hedonistic Captain couldn't help feeling sorry for the younger man. Part of him was pleased to have 'interrogated' the novice young thief, so endearing, natural, not artificial like the actors, singers, or models he had encountered. But another part felt guilty for treating Atid badly, who seemed very protective of his virtue.
"Khun Atid, please don't be angry with me. I can apologize if you want. I was wrong to take advantage when you were drunk. But I couldn't control myself. You understand... Let me defend myself a little. I'm not as bad as you think. Don't hate me." Tongrob spoke seriously.
Atid wavered. Tongrob might not be that bad. He had to admit that alcohol was harmful, making people lose their inhibitions. He was drunk too. Tongrob had already admitted it.
He couldn't accept it. What happened last night was a mistake caused by alcohol. He couldn't accept this truth.
But Atid didn't truly understand the depths of human feelings, the emotional desires that arise in ordinary people, needs that sometimes we ourselves barely understand and cannot control.
"Forget it, Captain. I'll consider last night never happened. We probably won't meet again anyway. Soon you and I will both forget." The young man spoke sternly, then opened the door and walked out.
Tongrob watched him go, disappointed and brooding. He disappointed that the young man wouldn't stay to eat even a little, brooding over the cuteness of the handsome young man and last night's taste.
Dream on, Atid. You know Captain Tongrob too little. If I raise my battle flag, you can't escape me...
You just don't know my stamina level of my wooing for someone I like.
