A month has passed since Craig's reincarnation into this game like world.
Year 254 AED-CB
The scorching sun beamed down from the sky, it's rays scattered across the horizon. The sun shone brightly on the village.
Casting a warm glow over the vibrant colors of the construction site.
The bright blue sky was dotted with fluffy clouds, and the sun's rays highlighted the fresh paint and new wood of rebuilding efforts.
The village was alive with activity, the sound of hammers ringing out and the hum of machinery filling the air.
Just as the workers labored to rebuild.
It's being a month since the Village of Esmerald was invaded by the Kingdom of Neztra. A western nation.
Since the Village of Esmerald which exists between the borderline of the East and the West.
The West favored the subjugation and control of this little village.
If it weren't for him, the survivors would be slaves already.
The Village of Esmerald borders the Western Continent and the Eastern Continent but it isn't the only village or city in the region.
It's being specifically targeted because of its closeness to the West, given the West a chance to slowly invade all Easterners.

The air was electric with sense of possibility, as if every beam and brick was laid with a sense of purpose and promise.
Just as he ordered, the villagers worked together, their hands moving in unison as they lifted the beams and hammered nails into places.
He watched from afar with smiles beaming from his lips.
Craig who saved the village from sudden extinction was chosen unanimously by the people.
Made the chief of the village.
He took on the role as the chief and leader of this small village.
Craig exhaled a sigh, clad in a velvet colored Galaxy trench coat.
From the balcony, he gazed out upon the village below. The thatched roofs of the cottages stretching out like a patchwork quilt.
The sunlight cast long shadows across the village, illuminating the cobblestone street and the bustling market square.
The air was alive with sounds of merchants hawking their wares and the clanging of hammer on the anvil from the blacksmith's forge.
"Chief Zephyr….Chief Zephyr"
A masculine voice erupted as the sounds of fast approaching footsteps drew closer.
Craig tilted his gaze, he faced the direction of the sound.
Emerging into the balcony was a man whose face beamed with smiles, on his hand was a couple of files piled together.
Craig stood unfazed.
Not showing a hint of smile, with just a glance. He recognized who this figure is.
His name is Pedri, a citizen of the Village of Esmerald.
He's amongst the slaves Craig rescued that night.
On that night, everyone witnessed the night of Craig or should I said the Demon Lord Zephyr.
The children saw the monster he truly was.
His silk crimsoned hair and his flickering eyes painted crimsoned hue. The manifestation of a pandemonium.
And yet none cared about it.
All they saw was a man who saved during a time of distress.
They had no care for his origin, what they knew was that he's a strong man. Strong enough to protect them.
"Pedri, what is it?" Craig asked.
"Chief Zephyr, sorry for interrupting whatever you were doing but I bring you reports" Pedri voiced out.
Still smiling brightly.
Craig's eyebrows furrowed.
"Report?" He asked.
"Yes my liege. As you requested, we calculate the bodies of soldiers racked up during the invasion of our village"
"And also the bodies of our fallen comrades we could not bury. We have an estimated number" Pedri announced.
Craig's brows curled up.
"Oh? Is that so? Then how many are they?" Craig asked.
"They are a totally of a thousand and five hundred and twenty six in total, we lost three hundred of our people"
"The rest were victims of the invasive forces"
"All which you crushed without breaking a sweat" Pedri reported.
Craig glanced at Pedri for a second.
"Pedri, are you scared of me?" Craig asked.
Pedri had a look of confoundment written on his face, his brows curled up.
"What are you talking about chief? Why would I be scared of you?" Pedri worriedly asked.
"Shouldn't it be weird? I'm someone who simply spawned into your village a month ago during the collaspe of this village"
"On that night, I rescued you guys from a life of damnation but the powers I demonstrated and the ruthlessness I unleashed"
"You should be scared of me"
Craig uttered, he returned his gaze back to the sky, gently lifting his head up. He faced the sky.
Pedri giggled softly.
"Is that something you are worried about? There's no need for you to bothered with such thoughts Chief"
"You are the savior of the Village of Esmerald"
"You saved us from the hands of tyranny. The West has been longing to annex our lands because it borders the East"
"And the East is the pathway to Hell itself"
"Since they want to keep sending their heroes to go demon hunting. They needed to pass through us"
Pedri explained.
"And did you allow them before?" Craig asked.
"Yes. We do allow them but it seems King Charles became greedy, he needed us to submit to him"
Pedri stated.
"King Charles?" Craig asked, slowly tilting his head.
Pedri exhaled a sigh.
"He's the King of Neztra Kingdom and he's as greedy as the rest of the Western Nobles" Pedri explained.
"Hmmm…." Craig careesed his jaws.
"Is there a problem chief?" Pedri asked.
"How big are the forces of the Neztra Kingdom?" Craig asked.
"Well they are ranked on the forty-third list amongst the Nations of the West, they have a total of ten thousand soldiers"
"And their knights are on a different level as well"
"If they come charging against us. We will be crushed" Pedri answered, briefly explaining the situation.
Craig exhaled a sigh.
"That will be such a pain, I was promised a life of peace and I hope my actions will make them rethink their decisions"
"What I want is a life of peace, I didn't enjoy the life of peace when I lived as Craig Humphrey"
"This time I must enjoy that life"
"As the Demon Lord Zephyr, if I must rule…."
"I must create peace through strength"
Craig thought.
He returned his gaze back to the awaiting Pedri, amongst those selected by Craig to answer directly to him.
Pedri is the Secretary of Informations.
He's the one who report's directly to Craig, while there are others out there.
Pedri is closer to the Demon Lord.
Craig heaved in relief.
"Pedri" He called out.
"Yes Chief" Pedri voiced out.
"Take me to where the bodies were the preserved bodies were locked away" Craig ordered.
They left immediately, making use of the stalons they got from the soldiers Craig killed that night.
~~~
It took them a few minutes to arrive at the scene, reaching the dump site was farther than where the villages dwelled.
And that's because of the stench coming from the rotten corpses.
Pedri had his nose covered with a mask.
But Craig stood unfazed, he's a Demon Lord after all.
Something like this doesn't affect him.
"This is the dumpsite and all the bodies were stored in here" Pedri reported.
Craig sighed.
"Good job. You can leave now" Craig stated.
Pedri obeyed, without question. He mounted on his black stalon and rode out of the dumping ground.
Returning to the village.
Craig's eyebrows furrowed.
His eyes squinted.
"I'm sorry for keeping you hungry until now, it's time to feast" He whispered.
Just then a draconic blade mark appeared on the dorsum of his right hand.
And out of his shadows came forth a feminine figure, purple haired and emerald blue eyes. She stood uncladded.
Revealing her soft and succulent bouncing boobs.
A lopsided grin appeared on her lips.
She exhaled a soft sigh.
"Ah. I was wondering when you would summon me to the feast you promised me last month"
"I guess it's ready"
Her seductive voice echoed. Slowly lifting her head, she gazed at the heaps of corpses piled up together.
She's his first summoned Demonic Beast.
Craig sighed.
"Yes. It's ready baby girl, sorry for keeping you waiting...."
"Mother of Ants, Ramposa!"
