In just a blink of an eye, three days went by…..
Craig utilized his soldier ants, making them aid the builders as they constructed a nine feet tall wall.
The size of the Village of Esmerald is ten hectares of land which is approximately a hundred thousand square metres.
Inhabiting over a thousand and five hundred citizens currently living in the Village.
The walls were built in three days, circling the Village of Esmerald in its entirety.
At first the villagers were scared when he introduced the giant soldier ants to them.
This is the normal reaction of the average human.
But after much explanation and endorsement from the Secetaries. The villagers grew accustomed to the soldier ants.
The soldier ants fulfilled two different roles accordingly.
The first set of soldier ants supported the builders by bringing bricks to them.
Carrying large quantities of stones, things deemed impossible for humans to handle.
They easily did this work.
The other set fulfilled guard duties, circulating the Village while scouting for any threat to the Village.
Since Craig obtained the sub authority: Ruler of Ants.
The vision of the soldier ants are connected to him, at his leisure time. He could easily connect with them.
Easily seeing what's in front of them.
The Secretary of Defense, Arnold complied with the request of Craig and he brought hundreds of soldiers.
All were addressed by the Village Chief.
The words of Craig was like motivation to them, informing them about his plans to invade the Great Evil Forest of Nahumbai and raid dungeons.
It gladdens their heart and there is another method for them to level up.
This is a one in a lifetime opportunity.

Craig, Pedri the Secretary of Information and Arnold the Secretary of Defense rode their horses around the Village, they needed no guards to escort them.
After all the Village loved Craig.
They needed not to know his identity in other to love him, the love and protection he had shown them was enough.
The chilled breeze brushed passed his chin.
Craig exhaled a deep breath, moving past the reconstruction sites, he was waved at by the people of Esmerald.
Craig returned the gesture by waving back at them as well.
His face beamed with smiles.
"Chief Zephyr, the Vilalge loves you" Arnold voiced our, he hid not his smiles.
"Yeah, the Chief has been helpful to us all this while, thanks to him. This village is still alive today and we are thriving"
Pedri added.
Craig inhaled the fresh air, he lifted his head….glaring at the scorching sun which beamed down its rays upon them.
They continued their tour, moving through the fields.
They arrived at their destination, the main defense base of the Village.
Since it took three days to build the current headquarters of the military faction, it's not really in a perfect state.
But still manageable during this period.
A few hundred soldiers were positioned in this base, since it's currently facing the direction of the Great Evil Forest of Nahumbai.
This is the direction where the Wave will be coming….
They halted their horses, and the uproar of their horses neighing erupted.
Craig came down from his horse, a few officers came to greet him.
They paid their respect by saluting the command in chief of the Village.
Craig giggled.
Both Arnold and Pedri came down from their horses as well, the most decorated officers was at the center.
He's the current commander of the military unit.
The Village's defense force is small so it couldn't be properly called a military, it's still considered a small faction.
And their commander is Mr. Torino.
He's a middle aged man, six foot tall and black haired, his grey eyes flickered and his face beamed with smiles.
Currently clad in his armor, with the scabbard of his sword hung on his waist.
Mr. Torino shook the hands of the Demon Lord Zephyr, paying his respect to the village chief who has come to visit them.
"Chief Zephyr, it's really an honor to have you here in our base"
Commander Torino spoke out.
"Well the honor is mine. Commander Torino, you should know why I'm here right?" Craig asked.
"Ofcourse I do, the walls were properly built, I made sure they were all inspected before you came visiting"
"Right now we have a total of a hundred soldiers who will be playing offense and two hundred who will be playing defense"
"Since we are still a small force, we could not easily fractionate them" Commander Torino explained.
He led the Chief and his secretaries into the building.
They were shown around the building, but they were led into the war room prepared for occasions like this.
A wooden chair shaped like a throne was prepared for the chief.
Craig examined the throne, he giggled.
"Commander Torino, you have done a nice job with everything I'm seeing. I know three days is too small"
"You were unable to build the magnificent base of my choice, everything will be changed after this wave comes to an end"
"How is the preparations for the incoming wave?"
Craig asked, he took his seat.
Resting his back on the wooden throne, Commander Torino, Secretary Arnold and Secretary Pedri took their seats as well.
Each facing the direction of the Chief. A long map which displayed the detailed geographical locations was presented before Craig.
Other high ranking officers were present as well.
Only four in total, all seated beside the Commander.
Craig examined the map for a few minutes.
"How is it?" Commander Torino curiously asked.
Craig careesed his jaw.
"Well the map isn't bad since it has every detailed, but in a few hours. There will an incoming wave"
"I want to know what the military already has planned" Craig demanded.
Commander Torino cleared his throat.
"Chief Zephyr, right now we're being focused on defense. We will use the walls as means to strike the Furies"
"While they attack the Walls in hopes of invading our land, we will kill them without any direct confrontation"
Commander Torino explained.
"Hmmm…."
"What if the plan doesn't work?" Craig asked.
"Pardon?" Commander Torino asked.
"What if the Furies are too strong and they broke the walls? Right now, the village doesn't have a barrier type artifact right?"
"No spell which could act as defense for the village"
"What would you do if the walls fails?" Craig asked.
His eyebrows furrowed, he glared at the Commander.
Tension reigned supreme.
"Chief Zephyr sir, I'm afraid….if the walls fails to protect us then we are ready to fight to the death"
"The people of Esmerald won't go down without a proper fight" Commander Torino declared.
"We may be weaklings, we may be the weakest tribe in this region but we are prideful, we won't die without a fight"
Commander Torino added.
Craig could see the determination in his eyes, he chuckled.
Craig's rested his arms on the table, his hands clasped against each other. Craig's brows furrowed.
"I could easily tell from one's nerves if they are lying to me. I must say, I thought you were only trying to save face"
"None of you guys have any means of fighting Furies and no plan could come to your minds"
"Even then, you're prepared to die while fighting huh?"
"It's quite honorable but I'm not a man with honor"
"I despite honorable death, I believe in staying alive so no one will be dying tonight"
"I'll take care of the wave myself" Craig declared.
There was an uproar in the war room.
Secretary was the one most worried about the Chief.
"Chief Zephyr, there will be hundreds of Furies out there. I know you are our hero but there must be another way"
"We can't just send you out there" Pedri complained, he voiced out his disagreement.
They were all not showing their support of the Chief's decision to face the wave alone.
But all Craig did was smile.
He waited until the atmosphere became calm and when there was reticence in the air. He decided to speak.
"I know everyone disagrees with my decision and I respect that. I'm grateful that you all care about my well-being"
"But I'm not someone who will put my life away, I have no intentions of dying"
"My soldier ants have already circulated the walls, they are stationed and ready to strike down any fast approaching furies"
"But before they reach the walls, someone must strike them down"
"No one in this land is strong enough to do that, only me"
"So this is my duty" Craig declared.
Just then, he sensed something strange. He felt it from his connections with the soldier ants.
A fluctuation in the air.
Craig had his vision connected with a soldier ant, he saw a tide of demonic creatures forth, their twisted forms charging forward with reckless abadon.
The ground trembled beneath their feet as they surged forward, a maelstrom of claws, teeth and fury.
He exhaled a sigh. He disconnected his vision, facing the sitted officials.
"It seems we need to wrap up this meeting, the Furies are already here"
