Chapter 182: The Crystal Ball
A forest setting under the moonlight, Seraph riding on the horse Thorem
With the girl Peka. Time passed, and the horse Thorem was able to fend off a herd of demons.
Time began to pass until morning. Seraph was eating breakfast under a tree.
They had grilled fish for breakfast. The smell of nature was refreshing.
Seraph was eating the fish Peka had caught himself.
Pega was now feeding the horse Thorem.
There was only a little food left.
The horse Thorem was finishing his meal, while Peka was petting him.
Pega smiled slightly as he watched the horse Thorem eat his food and the fish.
"Eat a lot, so you'll have the strength to run."
The seraph, who was eating, rested exhaustedly, looking at Peka and the horse Thorem's one-month supply of food.
Seraph remembered that the bag was very large, and the old man who owned the horse Thorem had given him one-month supply of food.
Seraph stared intently at the Thorem horse's food bag, in the direction Seraph was looking.
He saw Peka's beautiful hands. [So beautiful! This peka child, how beautiful is she?
Well, every child I've met is beautiful. What I'm curious about is, I remember asking for a month's worth of food. That old man gave me so little.]
Seraph spoke up, "Lady Peka, may I ask you something? Why did that Thorem horse's food run out so quickly? I remember it should last about a month, right?"
Pega stopped stroking Thorem horse and looked at the bag. "I don't know about that. Since I met you, you've been unconscious for over three days.
And today was the fourth day. So, when I found Thorem horse's food bag,
I saw that the bag was full of food So I gave it to this child to eat. "It's all right."
Seraph nodded. "That's it. Thank you."
"No problem."
[That's it. It's the cat house. That damn horse. He ate a month's worth of food so quickly. Did he starve to death?]
Pega saw that Seraph had finished his breakfast.
Pega sat down in front of Seraph and took off one of his rings.
Pega put his spirit power into the ring. A few things appeared:
He One, Little Purple, and M2, along with ten gold coins.
The fourth piece was a bone-like hand, a beautiful white color, made entirely of bone. It was his right hand.
And the fifth piece was shaped like a diamond, similar to a diamond. It was so beautiful, it was white that it looked like the color of blank paper. It was a circle.
Pega showed Seraph these things to examine.
Seraph looked at Peega's face, wondering what he had shown me.
[What else? It can't be that... Sell me these. The first one, it looks like a sharp point. If it's not pretty, I won't take it.
The second one, this one's fine. It's a teddy bear, fine. This one's interesting.
The third one, the blindfold. It looks suspicious, and it even says "m2."
But I can't choose this one. The damn line of luck is pointing towards me!?]
Seraph looked at the m2 blindfold. There was a golden line called "luck" connected to Seraph.
Seraph turned to look at one. It was a bone hand. [As for this one, for god's sake, I'll never buy it. Isn't this a human hand!?]
Seraph looked at Peka immediately with caution. A pretty girl showing this wasn't a good thing.
What normal person would show bone hands to others in the first place?
Seraph prepared to run away. [She looks beautiful, but she has human hands. Don't let her appearance obscure her inner feelings. I misjudged you, girl.]
Peka looked at Seraph, curious. Peka noticed something strange.
"What's wrong?"
Seraph stood up, preparing to run, so he wouldn't be at a disadvantage standing up.
"Nothing much. Why are you showing me these things?"
Peka nodded. "Remember the story I told you? I was kidnapped, but thanks to the horse Thorem, I survived the crisis."
Seraph nodded. [What's the connection? Tell me now before I start running, or should I just run?]
"Hmm, is that so? Didn't the lady tell you about it?"
"Yes, these things belong to the person who kidnapped me, so I thought I'd bring them with me to give to Seraph."
Seraph nodded, sitting back down comfortably.
[Almost there, just a little more until we say goodbye, and I have to go for a walk in the forest alone. How lucky.]
"I understand. All of this." Are you going to give it to me? "
"Yes, all of this is yours."
Seraph looked at the items on the floor. [No way! Picking things up randomly is a sure sign of something terrible. We must find a way to escape this suspicious situation for a better life.
Enough trouble. Time for some peace of mind. As a guarantee, we must dispose of all these items to destroy the evidence.]
Seraph picked up the horn and held it out to Peka.
"Here it is. This is a gift for a beautiful lady like you.
This is perfect for you, my lady."
Seraph handed the rusted horn to the girl as a parting gift.
Peka took it with a puzzled expression. Is this really what it's for?
Peka obediently accepted the gift from Seraph.
"Thank you very much. I'll take good care of it."
Seraph picked up the purple one Peka had given him. "And this is a beautiful gift, perfect for you, my lady."
It's a cute doll that you can cuddle with before bed at night. This will keep you
warm, I promise. "
Seraph handed the purple doll to Peka.
Peka accepted it and nodded. Peka had wanted this doll anyway, so she accepted it easily.
Peka looked at the m2 blindfold. Peka's cheeks were slightly red, a hint of embarrassment.
Seraph didn't notice because she was looking at the m2 blindfold.
Seraph took the m2 blindfold and put it back in her pocket. "As for this one, I feel very lucky. If possible, don't tell anyone about this."
"Okay, I'll forget about it."
Seraph looked at the white bone. "As for this one, I'll bury it in the grave. Any objections?"
[Even though I can't see it, I'll probably hide the rest somewhere around the world.
Burying just my hand will do. At least I've buried my hand for you, so don't bring me any trouble.]
Seraph stared at the white crystal ball. "As for this one, I'm giving it to you, Princess."
Pega looked a little confused. "Why did you give it to me?"
Seraph held out a crystal ball larger than his own hand, similar to the crystal balls often used in divination scenes.
Seraph placed the crystal ball in front of Pegasus.
"This will help you decide what to do in the future."
[Think of it as a fortune teller's crystal ball. At least this child will see its usefulness. Take all the items. As for the ten gold coins, I'll keep them for myself.
Great, everything's cleared up. At least this child will have someone in authority to help.]
