Chapter 181: Price: Ten Gold Coins
At a certain location, Peka rode her horse at high speed.
Three days passed, and Seraph awoke from his slumber. His eyes, which had seen darkness, slowly revealed themselves.
Seraph opened his eyes. A bonfire was set before him. The surroundings were nighttime.
Seraph surveyed the trees, a bright blue glow, the grass blue, and the tree trunks white.
Seraph looked away and saw the horse Thorem, the horse that had caused him to faint.
The horse Thorem noticed Seraph's awakening. His eyes were fixed on Seraph.
Seraph looked away and saw the young girl, Peka, resting.
Seraph wondered who this person was.
Seraph stood up and looked at his body. After a while, he noticed a small amount of blood.
Seraph stood up and tiptoed out. With a soft footstep, trying not to make a sound.
[Even though he didn't know who this child was, goodbye. He had originally planned to run away. Bye.]
Seraph secretly walked out of the place, escaping the suspicious situation.
Each footstep pressed against the ground, making no sound. Amidst the cold wind, Seraph didn't take long to escape the place.
Seeing that the distance he could run was within his reach, Seraph took a deep breath.
Phew...
"Time to run. First, run. Think about the rest later. Why would I stay and wait?" He asked the question.
Seraph began running at breakneck speed. Thud, thud, thud.
Seraph looked up at the sky. The beautiful moon shone down.
Seraph ran for a while, then stopped.
Seraph's face showed sadness. "Oh, I forgot."
In front of Seraph, a demon was standing. A skeleton with red eyes, missing legs, a tiger-like body, and a bird's head made up of bones and a bird's body.
The Narakin Demon
A demonic beast resembling a Narakin appeared.
The number began to increase.
Many red eyes surrounded the Seraph.
The Seraph took to the sky. Whoosh!
The Narakin Demon, with three legs and no wings, charged after the Seraph. Whoosh!
The Seraph floated in mid-air, deep in thought. "It can't be helped. Let's go back to where we started. At least there are Thorem horses over there. They should be able to help us escape."
The Seraph flew back the way he came. If he'd known, he would have been more comfortable staying the way he came.
The Seraph flew back in the same direction, luring the enemy, who he didn't know why he was luring them.
Pega, who had woken up from the Thorem horse's shaking.
The Thorem horse used its head to shake Pega, waking him up.
Pega opened his eyes and looked at Thorem horse. "What's wrong?" "
The horse stopped shaking and turned its head towards the direction of the seraph's awakening.
Pega saw that the seraph, who should have been unconscious on the ground, had disappeared.
Pega stood up, curious. "Where did he go? Why did he disappear? I remember we hadn't even talked yet."
Pega looked at the horse. "Well, he'll probably come back. Since his horse is still here, at least he can wake him up."
Pega, thinking there was no problem, lay down on the ground and waited for the seraph to return.
Shortly after, a sound came from behind Peega. It was the sound of running, something living.
Pega hurriedly stood up and jumped onto the horse.
Pega looked in the direction of the sound.
Shortly, a large number of Narakin demons came running out.
Seraph appeared, flying through the sky. Whoosh!
Pega looked up to see a boy in ordinary clothes, wearing a golden cloak underneath.
Floating in the moonlight
The moonlight shone down.
A seraph descended upon the back of a Thorem horse
Seraph's expression remained calm, as Peka turned to look at Seraph.
Seraph, who was riding the Thorem, spoke out.
"It's time to escape. I checked the surroundings and saw that many demons were running in this direction."
[Get moving! Hurry up and run! What are you waiting for!?]
Peka, though still unsure of the situation, forced the Thorem to start running.
The sound of the Thorem hitting the ground reverberated.
Behind the Thorem, a multitude of demons chased him relentlessly.
Seraph sat down. "By the way, why is this beautiful lady here?"
Hearing the question, Peka turned to look at Seraph briefly and explained:
"I was kidnapped by a man in black. I'm the son of a nobleman in Pokraras Village.
The man in black wanted to kidnap me, and I did something that I heard faintly about. It's like he's leading me to something. And the man in black died when this horse saved his life.
Seraph nodded, raising his hand to stop him. "I understand. Because the lady is of high rank, she must have been kidnapped for ransom or something similar, right?
"That's fine. We're heading towards Gralas Village now. We'll be there in two days."
Seraph nodded. "I understand. Are you interested in this horse, lady?"
Peka nodded hurriedly. "I'm interested. Interested? What about the wood?"
Seraph turned to the hunter. "I'll give you this horse in exchange for a favor. Is that okay?"
Peka was a little confused. What was Seraph saying?
"If it's something I can do, I'll be happy to help."
"When we both get to Gralas Village, we won't know each other. I'll go find some mercenaries and take myself back to a place. So,
Is that okay?" I have business to attend to that needs to be kept secret. I don't want to stand out.
Pega thought. "But, you're my benefactor. I can't just let you go so easily without helping you."
"Don't worry. Someday, I'll definitely come and ask for your help. So, doing this now is the best thing to do."
Pega sighed. "Okay."
Seraph smiled to himself. [Great, even though there were some minor setbacks on the trip, but this is good.]
Having this person help me is pointless. A nobleman would come and help.
There's no way he'd be killed before he left the village, for some reason, like being acquainted with this child.
Let's go our separate ways. That was just kidnapped.
He gave me this horse. When the old man in charge of the horse finds it, they'll fight amongst themselves. I'm an outsider, it's not my business.
This is the plan. I'll sell the valuables later. No, I should say, for the price of this horse. Ten gold coins, please.]
"This horse is worth ten gold coins. I'll use it for my travels."
Pega accepted the payment. The price of the Thorem horse is ten gold coins. "Okay, ten gold coins."
