Arthur stood from the ground. The knight eyed him for a moment. As Arthur stretched his hand out. And the knight spoke.
"Who are you? You are not the boy I was fighting moments ago."
A true and pure smile ran itself across Arthur's face. Lancelot eyed him for a few moments, his face was oddly glowy. And he seemed weirdly happy.
'Something's wrong with him…'
"Oh, has it been so long? This boy looks almost identical to I after all. I didn't expect you to be so forgetful even after all this time. Oh dear. Oh my."
Arthur took a few more steps forward.
"Now why won't that stubborn blade answer my call? Have the stars forgotten who once guiding them? Oh well. I can use this shabby abyssal blade until it responds to my call."
Arthur hummed as he kicked the hilt of the sword of the broken oath up into the air and caught it.
"Hmph. It's a bit heavy, no wonder that boy is so weak in his swordsmanship."
"Wait! Who are you?!"
Lancelot shouted from beside Arthur. Arthur just glanced at him.
"Who's this? A friend?" The man in Arthur's body started to laugh. "Who knew. A fate of loneliness, and yet he seems to have a friend…how sad. Though, a true king must surround him with only the best of companions."
The man possessing Arthur's body let out a soft sigh. As the knight continued to stare holes into him.
"So it is you. I never thought I would stand across from you ever again." The knight spoke. His tone held a hint of remorse. Yet there was no sadness visible behind his armor. "It is of no matter. Let us battle. Just like the old days."
Arthur chuckled before his arm fully regenerated. And a gleaming blade appeared in his other hand. The sword had a silver hilt and a blade that glowed. The moonlight blade.
"Ah, there you are. My friend. Though you have grown very weak…"
Arthur pointed the blade at the knight.
"Let us duel, old friend!"
In his library of memories. Arthur sighed. Leaning up against the infinite row of bookshelves. To the left of him. The blue demon made of fire was leaning up against the shelve as well.
"That was…a pathetic display. Nonetheless. You are very lucky the man hiding deep within your soul decided to help. I would've just left you to die…"
Arthur looked at the demon and scoffed.
"If I die, don't you as well? You're a part of me."
The demon shook his head.
"Just like how it passed to you, the seed of calamity chooses whoever strikes down its beholder. Unless they're a fully fledged calamity. Then the seed disappears for thousands of years until it decides to show up again. Therefore, your fate has two outcomes. Death, or you will become a calamity."
"And how are you so sure I will become a calamity?"
"The seed gave you the young body of a dragon as well to fuse into your own. Dragon's and titans are the most capable beings to host a calamity, due to their endless source of mana. And it would also break the seal that advanced seal, permanently. It's only a temporary measure. Calamity can never be sealed."
Arthur raised an eyebrow.
"Titans?"
The demon looked at him and let out a deep sigh.
"Titans are beings that embody a different concept. Something called an authority. A special power. They, like dragons, have an infinite source of magic and intellect. But, unlike dragons, they aren't entwined with the dreadful cycle. As they've lived for so long. The ones that haven't been slain by gods, or heroes, have lived since the first cycle."
'…come to think of it, how was never of this ever mentioned in the game? I feel like these 'cycles' and titans, would be a good thing to mention to a player.'
