"Wait, isn't Senior Brother Tristan's family loaded?" a classmate blurted out nearby.
Anya Porter shot them a condescending look. "You people have no clue. That's premium Red Flag territory, a limited custom edition. Money alone won't cut it. Your bloodline has to be spotless, with major national contributions just to qualify for customization."
"Holy..." everyone stared in amazement.
Anya turned her sharp gaze on me. "Does your husband pack that kind of influence?"
I kept my expression neutral. "Who said anything about a husband? Could be anyone."
Another voice piped up with curiosity. "Freya Colby, word is someone dropped three billion on that bracelet for you. Same person with the fancy Red Flag?"
I deflected with a smile. "What do you think?"
Anya scoffed. "Three billion on jewelry? Please. Even rich people aren't that stupid."
