Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: The Embrace

Darkness

That' wasn't how I thought I was going to die.

My name is Samuel Haythem. I am just a normal 20-year-old orphan trying to live a normal life. I have always loved RPGs, especially The World of Darkness and Vampire. The Masquerade always has a special place in my heart, as it was the first RPG that I ever played, and I loved it.

I got hit by a car on my way home after a party at a friend's house and was left to die by the driver on a dirty and dark road.

After I finally bled to death, I found myself here.

Floating on a white void and seeing a white being without features looking at me

"Welcome to the afterlife!"" God, or whatever that being is tells me

I can't help but shiver at looking at him; whatever I imagined, God wasn't this close.

"Do I go to Heaven or Hell now?" I can't help but ask. I don't think I am going to Hell, but you never know the rules. I wasn't very religious, and it's definitely been a while since I went to a church.

"It's a possibility! Hell is always possible, but you have enough good actions on your soul to go to heaven, but you are also a perfect candidate for reincarnating." God is catching my attention.

"What do you mean?" I ask him in surprise and curiosity.

"Well, as you died at a relatively young age, your soul isn't very mature yet, which can make you stay in heaven a bit... dull and boring, so to counter this, these young souls are reborn in different words so they can live again, also helping their souls mature completely." God days shocking me

I can be reborn again.

This sounds good. I get another chance at life and live a more happy life.

"How does it work?" I ask him, and he gives me a grin from a mouth that wasn't there a moment ago.

He snaps his fingers, and a large golden wheel appears right in front of me.

There are a lot of names on it.

Gotham

Shadowhunters

Riverdale

And many more

"Simple! You turn the wheel, and the world will stop. That's the word you're going to be reborn," God informs me.

I keep reading some of the names at The Wheel.

None of these worlds are really bad; some need to be more careful but are still manageable.

"Also, the wheel will grant you a boon, a power, or the ability to help you in your next life. The wheel is going to weigh your soul to see what to give you," God tells me, making me excited.

I hope I get something good, maybe magic or even a healing factor.

I grab a handle and look at God, who gives me a nod.

I then pull the handle, and the wheel starts to spin.

The wheel spins for a few more seconds before stopping.

I see the world as if I were reborn:

'THE VAMPIRE DIARIES/THE ORIGINALS/LEGACIES '

Wow! Isn't it the safest world around, but it's a good one nonetheless. I watched more of The Originals than TVD.

Their vampires are good, at least to TV show standards; they have a good mythology.

And their supernatural creatures as well,

At least until Legacies; after that, there were a lot of new monsters popping up.

"Now put your hand at the center of the wheel and let's see what boon you got!" God tells me, and I quickly put my hand at the center

A bright red light shone from my hands to the center of the wheel.

Then a swirly red portal appeared, and something came out of it.

I walk up to it and grab it.

It's a large laminated paper sheet.

"Is that a character sheet?" I am incredulous at why a Destiny Design Wheel has an RPG character sheet.

I pick it up and start to read it.

Name: Finn Mikaelson

Species/Generation: Upgrade Enhanced Original Vampire/First Generation Cainite Vampire

Clan: All

WHAT!

What is this?!

Then I started to read his stats and skills, all of which were fully completed.

It has all of the disciplines, even though they were completed too.

This was basically an overpowered sheet that would absolutely demolish anything a DM could throw at a player.

Then, to my surprise, the sheet flowed out of my hands and smashed against my chest, dissipating in light fragments.

I felt my whole body become light, like a feather, and my eyes got heavy.

"W-What is h-happening?" I ask struggling to even open my eyes.

"You will be going to Reborn now!" God told me cheerfully while I was falling asleep.

"Good luck, Finn Mikaelson!" God bids his farewell, and I have lost my battle against the soothing darkness.

'Blood...Blood.... Returns to me....'

Firstly, those who heard these words that some vampires heard in their dreams at the start of the week and many thought they were just that, dreams, something random that their minds had dreamed of

But as the week began to pass, each night these words got louder and louder, to the point that they couldn't sleep. Every time they tried, these words would scream at them in their dreams.

Some seek help from the Defenders of Mother Earth or Witches, as they are known, but whatever they do, nothing helps.

Then they started to feel their blood feel restless, boiling down in rage and pain; some even isolated themselves for fear of hurting someone; some were losing control over their thrist and acting like reapers, tearing their prey to pieces.

This caused some waves of panic around the supernatural world as they saw some vampires losing control and attacking people in broad daylight.

Then they started to hear the words while they were awake, always whispering at their ears, not giving them a single moment of peace.

A couple of young vampires had already lost their minds and were in an almost catatonic state.

Leaving only the older ones still active to resist

Some of their vampire Brethens were alarmed and scared by it.

Some thought it was a curse some witches had put on them.

Others thought that was something in the water

Even the witches were scared of these happenings.

When they tried to use magic on an affected vampire, they would fear their magic would wither away like dust, giving them immense pain and losing their vitality, magic, and age.

Growing old at a rapid pace with intense pain until death

After this was discovered, the witches retreated and left the vampires on their own.

Then two days had past, and all of the affected vampires had gone into deep slumber, a slumber that nothing was able to wake them from.

Neither pain nor blood could wake them up.

This puzzled many of their Brethen and a few witches who were still trying to help them.

On the third day of their slumber, something happened.

The thousands of slumbering vampires were being found dead, their blood evaporating from their bodies, only ash and bone remaining of them.

Going from the most recent sireds to the oldest sire

A beautiful red-haired woman who, in her last moments, whispered her lover's name before dying

This started an ongoing panic on The Vampire and Witches across the world.

The Witches, as they are more connected to the earth, felt a hold in the world, and a Dark being was sending ripples across the globe.

It felt like an unpurging darkness in the world.

As natural disasters started to happen day after day, tsunamis and earthquakes happened all around the world.

The vampires had also gone on a panic frenzy at the sudden deaths of thousands of their species.

The werewolves were the only ones who were happy about it, but even when they would transform into their wolf forms, their instincts would warn that something way more dangerous was waking up.

Every supernatural creature had a feeling of forebonding.

A sense that something was waking up

Finn POV:

Sorting through my memories wasn't an easy feat.

Dealing with sudden memories of 1000 years takes time, especially if 80% of these memories were composed of pain.

I remember me and Freya, my sister, playing together and learning magic.

Mother and Father raised us. Together

I remember Freya being taken away, crying and begging as Daliah took her.

I cried with her while our mother did nothing.

I remember Mother instructing me to say that Freya died because of the plague to Father.

I remember how the man who was my father died, and Mikael became him instead.

I remember Elijah birth, moving to the new world, taking care of my siblings, the birth of Niklaus, training in magic with Ayana, Kol birth, Mikael torture Niklaus, Rebekah birth, me being raised as a perfect mommy boy, Henrik birth, and his death.

Burning Henrik's corpse on his funeral pyre, getting stabbed by Mikael, being in transition, and the sweet taste of blood—I remember being disgusted and horrified by what we had become, and my enhanced emotions were a super turmoil.

Meeting Sage and finally falling in love with her

Me being daggered, How I painfully and slowly started to get awareness of myself after years and years of being trapped in a dark coffin with a dagger in my chest, screaming my sanity away.

I remember hearing the very few times they would come to visit me, normally only to put Kol or Rebekah again on their coffins.

How they considered me dull and bleak

I remember Esther soothing away the pain, trying to make me her good little soldier again.

Finn Memories Becoming my memories wasn't an easy thing.

I became him, and he became me. Also My 'Enlightenment' and Enhancement were also happening during the process

The Process of becoming a 1th Generation Vampire and Upgraded Enhanced Original Vampire was costly and my sireline had to pay the price for it.

It's a shame that Sage had to die.

While I loved her in the past, I am not the same man and really not the same vampire.

And now I find myself here. My brother Elijah just found mine and my siblings coffins and took out the daggers from us.

The daggers, thankfully, aren't going to work on me anymore, but I want to never see her again.

The moment the dagger is out, the merge will finally be completed.

I hear them wake up with heavy gasps. Rebekah and Kol started to complain about Klaus daggering them.

Then Elijah finally opens my coffin and pulls out the dagger.

The moment the dagger is out, I snap my eyes open.

I rip the coffin wide open, sending splinters everywhere.

Elijah and the others look at me in surprise, but I ignore them.

My whole attention is focused on one thing.

A Blood Bag

Even then It smells like Christmas turkey with honey, chocolate, and a lot of other delicious things.

I tore down and started to drink it. I could feel my thirst lessen, only to come back tenfold.

The taste is inimaginable, like drinking cold water for the first time in life.

I couldn't help but moan in pleasure at the taste.

I can feel my beast inside of me needing more, and I will give it more.

I drop down the empty blood bag and grab another, and another, and another.

After my Frenzy pass, I look and see the others.

Elijah and Rebekah were looking at me in surprise, but Kol was sporting an annoyed smirk.

"You aren't going to leave one for me?" Kol asks with his usual mischief in his voice, but I can see that he too is surprised by me.

I look at them one by one and stare at Elijah.

"I need more," I tell him.

He gave me a stiff nod.

"We need to deal with Niklaus first; you all need to know something." Elijah started to tell us all about Niklaus killing Esther and blaming Mikael.

I just ignore him while getting used to my senses, but at least I know the way to which freezer has the blood bags.

Gotta love Auspex.

"Elijah?! Weren't you going to retrieve our family?" Klaus demands Elijah

While having a tense standoff with the Salvatores

"Oh, forgive me, brother, but it appears that we missed dessert," Elijah says while dramatizing the Silver Daggers to Klaus.

I roll my eyes at my siblings antics.

They are too dramatic sometimes.

Then Kol makes his grand reveal and stabs Klaus in the hand.

Klaus then runs, but Rebekah catches up with him and stabs him the stoamch, weakening him enough so that Kol grabs a hold on him.

"I believe it's time for you to go, gentleman; this is a family matter," Elijah pompously said.

I guess that's my cue.

I speed there in a second. It's amazing how fast I can run or react to something, and didn't even had to use Celerity.

My presence in the room changed everything. I can see their surprise at my sudden appearance, probably because they didn't hear me or were too slow to hear me.

"Finn!" Niklaus exclaimed with wide eyes in surprise.

I barely spare an eye at him; he looks exactly like Joseph Morgan, but with a more supernatural thing.

I ignore him, much to his and the others confusion and surprise, and walk straight to the Salvatores.

I look at them in the eyes; they smell of vervain, so they wouldn't be complacent.

Smart

But thankfully, I don't need compulsion.

I let out my Presence in the room; the entire room seemed to gravitate towards me, and I use Dominate on both of them.

Their minds instantly surrendered to my will and desire.

"Sit down and stay silent!" I command them, and they immediately comply, sitting at the table and keeping still like statues.

I look back at my siblings and see their looks of shock, confusion, and awe.

Kol even lost Niklaus in his shock.

I walk up to Niklaus; in the show, it wasn't shown, but we have a very different height.

He must be 5'9 while I stand on my 6'3

I tower over him.

I see him take a dry gulp as I stop right in front of him.

I then looked directly into his eyes.

"Hello Niklaus! It's been a long time, hasn't it?" I say naturally to him, my voice breaking through his shock.

"Y-Yeah, It have been, Brother." Niklaus tries to play off being calm, but I can see How surprised and nervous he is

I look at him again.

"It seems that you are finally free of the curse that afflicted you, brother. Congratulations." I tell him, being honest, that while he isn't my favorite person at the moment, he is still very much my brother, no matter what others say, and I won't wish that curse on anybody.

This stuns Niklaus, as he never imagined that his older brother would congratulate him on finally breaking his mother's curse.

This also surprises his siblings, but even more so.

"Did you break your curse?" Kol asks Niklaus in surprise.

When they were 'younger', Kol was the one to help Klaus deal with witches and discover more about his curse.

"Yes, I did it; I am now finally the original hybrid!" Niklaus says this in pride at finally being free.

I walk to the table and grab a cup of blood that I had poured a little ago, and I start to taste the delicious liquid while waiting for the final member of our family to join us.

My actions didn't go unnoticed by my siblings and the two Dominated vampires.

"Finn what are you doing?" Elijah asks me in bewilderment while my siblings look at me in suspicion, and in the Niklaus case, paranoy

"Waiting for The Whore in the White Gown!" I answer him while gulping down the remnants of my drink and using my senses to hear the woman's magically covered footsteps, heartbeats, and blood circulation approaching us.

My response only increased my siblings curiosity, especially my little nickname for her.

Then the door flies open, and there stands

The original bitch herself

Esther Mikaelson

"Mother!" Rebecca gasps with tears in her eyes while all of her siblings get at least a bit of emotion on their faces.

I also have an emotion on my face, and it's called hate.

I put my cup down.

"Now we can get started!" I say catching their attention.

I speed over to Esther, grab her by the neck, and lift her into the air.

Surprising the bitch and my siblings

Kol, Rebekah, and Elijah started to move towards me, and Niklaus grabbed a dagger in the middle of the confusion, but to me, they felt like slugs.

I again let out my Presence in the room, but this time without holding anything back.

The ambient became heavy, like there was pressure coming from me. My siblings, being original vampires, couldn't handle that much pressure and fell to their knees.

Esther and The Salvatores almost pass out from it if it weren't for my interference.

Using this, I ceased a large part of my Presence but still let a part out.

My siblings look at me in fear and disbelief.

Niklaus had a more fearful than disbelieving expression on his face, probably his werewolf part warning of the danger that I represent.

I allow them to stand up

"Now sit down and listen!" I order them, my voice thundering in the room. I can see them trying to resist, but my will is absolute.

They sit at the table and look at me.

I let out a sigh and dropped Esther on the ground like a bag of potatoes.

She clucths her throat as she slowly takes large gulps of air while looking at me in fear.

"Now that we are more...calm," I say, drawing a snort from Kol.

"There is something that must be revealed to this family, another of Esther's dirty little secrets," I say with a mocking tone, directed at Esther, who looked wide-eyed at me.

I look at my siblings and see that while they are looking at me in fear, they also look interested in what her secret is.

I look at the two Salvatores, and the poor are trying to discern in what century they are.

"Our Mother here has a sister, an older sister in fact. Well, you see, in our family, we have a special ability from the time as a witch coven. Every firstborn of our family is extraordinary powerful, making every new generation stronger than the last one." I tell them.

I can see how Kol and Niklaus were instantly drawn to the magical fact and Rebekah and Elijah to the fact we had an aunt.

"FINN! THAT'S ENOUG-" Esther's screams are interrupted by my hand covering her mouth.

"I WANT YOU TO BE IN SILENCE; EVERYTIME YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH, I WISH TO TEAR YOUR HEAD OUT." My voice thundered in the room, and while I was mannering my strength to not pulverize her skull, my presence spiked up, almost knocking everyone out.

I chid myself

I need better control.

I look at the terrified face of Esther, and an idea comes to mind.

'Viccisitude is the art of flesh melding; let's see if I can shut her up,' I think while focusing on shaping her mouth shut.

I start to feel her skin and flesh, like argile, so I cover her mouth.

Clunch!

"MMMMMHHHRMMMN!!" Esther's muffled screams rang out in the room.

I remove my hand and see my literally 'handwork'

Esther falls to the ground with tears of pain and blood dripping from her face.

Her mouth was completely covered in pink skin.

Nothing too drastic, but it's not without pain as the skin isn't elastic enough or well made.

Not bad for the first time, I suppose.

Rebekah let out a cry of shock at seeing

Niklaus and Elijah looked in disbelief.

And Kol looks very interested.

"Now back on track, as I was saying, every firstborn of our family is very powerful, and that brings us to Esther secret here. When she decided to marry our father, she couldn't get pregnant, so she asked her older and more powerful sister for help in a fertility spell. Her sister accepted, but with a steep cost, that every firstborn of our family would be given to her as payment." I narrate our family story to them.

I see how their eyes widen in surprise, and I also see another understanding happen to Niklaus and Elijah as they start to connect the dots and glare at Esther.

"Our dear Mother here accepted the condition, and when the time came, SHE SOLD OUR SISTER FREYA LIKE CATTLE AND MAKE US THINK THAT SHE HAD DIED FROM THE PLAGUE!!" I again lose my calm, but this time I mind my presence.

My siblings lost their shocked or fearful look, deciding on a murderous rage as they looked at the crying form of Esther.

Esther was looking at me while bawling her eyes out.

I only look at her in disgust.

"This act fractured our family; the man I called a father became a twisted and sick man, and I was deprived of my twin, my other half. Because of you, Esther, you didn't try to get stronger in magic or even go to other witches; you took the easy way.

around and look where it brought you," I tell her coldly.

"And now she is back from the dead at a very convenient time, isn't she?" I say, mockingly making my siblings glare even harder at her now that any hidden cloak of affection for her has been lifted, and they start to connect the dots on why now she has been revivified.

"She, together with a bunch of demented spirits of witches on the other side, creates a stupid plan to kill all of the vampires of the world. Well, you see, every single vampire in the world can be traced back to this very room. The answer is sirelines. If an original was to die, his or her in the Rebekah case would soon follow, so she plans to link us together and stake one of us with a white-oak stake," I explain to them fully.

I always found stupid how on the show

When both Finn and Kol died and their sirelines died, there weren't any consequences.

I understand if Finn sirelines didn't do much as he had only sired Sage and her continued to siring but wasn't that many.

But Kol's is different.

Kol sired a lot of people, and they sired a lot people as well.

When an original dies, the sireline soon follows, and like a fucking hour later, they start to drop like flies.

Imagine a lot of people all around the world suddenly dying at the same time, like in the middle of the street, and what not.

And nobody said anything; no government said or did anything.

I find that a very absurd plot hole.

That's why, when I was busy going 'Week of Nightmares' on my sireline, I made sure that they would be covered by other supernaturals and their deaths would be quick, leaving nothing behind.

"Her plan is a good plan!" I tell her honestly, because it's true; her plan is a good one but a late one as well.

Esther's eyes widen at my praise, and my siblings look at me in shock and betrayal.

"But a later one at that," I say, catching their attention as they look at me in confusion.

"If it were one thousand years ago, it would be a good plan, but it isn't. Time has passed, and while the vampire race goes against the natural order of things, we are still very much part of the order; we take a predatory role on the world, preying on humans, not allowing them to go out of control, and in turn, we are kept in check by the werewolfs who prey on us when we get to numerous, a delicate ecosystem. That being said, if the vampire race were gone, the world would be in unbalance." I break it down for them, especially Esther.

I see her and my siblings eyes get wide in surprise as they take over the news of how important their existence is and the consequences of what their demise might bring.

Esther looks extremely close to a breakdown.

"Now that you all have been properly instructed at our place in the world, let's bring you all to the current problem. Our mother wasn't the only one to experiment with immortality spells; our aunt did as well, but in their case, they both became immortal witches, yes, both of them, our aunt Daliah and our sister Freya." I drop the bomb on them.

I see how my siblings eyes widen in surprise, and Esther as well, at the news.

"Some of us even got to meet them; Kol over there even accompanied her to one of the balls you all gave in New Orleans," I say, this time shocking my siblings, especially Kol.

who was a little green in the face

I think he, at the time, had certain thoughts that weren't appropriate to have, especially with you, sister.

If there's one thing that I'm happy about, it's how our family has never had any incest.

I think that if this was GOT, it would be a nightmare.

"Now my point is that our sister Freya spent the last 1000 years as a slave for our mad aunt, thanks to Esther here." I point to Esther on the ground.

She looks like she is having a mental breakdown.

I admit she looks a bit funny, sitting on the ground, hugging her knees in a fetal position, while her cries are muffled from her mouth.

"Now that everything is clear, there isn't another of her dirty little secrets, and all of you have seen her for what she truly is, a lying, delusional woman, I believe it's time to pass judgment," I tell them.

I see fear appear in Esther's eyes as she snaps out of her shocked state.

My siblings all look at her with rage and hate on their faces.

And I am mirroring it.

I grab her by the neck and bring her to her feet.

"If you look at the lives of greater inventors, all of them have masterpieces. I personally believe that we are your great creations. Esther, but you, unlike the other creators, never partaken with your own creation, I believe it's time to change, that isn't," I say while giving her a dark smirk.

I think she got what I mean, as she started to struggle even more in my hold.

I transformed my finger into claws and made a small cut on her neck.

Not enough to kill her, but enough to draw blood.

I use Quietus and control her blood.

Her blood levitated out of her neck and formed a round, spinning shape above my palm.

'I think this is the closest I will ever be to being a bloodbender,' I think to myself while ignorinng my siblings' shock and awe, and Esther's horrified one at my. 'magic''

I willed the blood to fill up the cup I was drinking before.

I don't need Esther's blood to kill Daliah, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

I then turn to Niklaus.

"She took a part of you for 1000 years; I think it's fitting for your blood to take a part of her away; don't you think the same brother?" I ask him. Niklaus

Niklaus looks at Esther with a cold look on his face, completely ignoring Esther's pleading looks.

He then turns to me and gives me a firm nod.

Which I return

I control his blood and command it to make a small cut on his arm and come out.

He gave a small grunt of pain and surprised me as he saw his blood flying towards me and floating above my hand.

My other siblings watch in shock, or in Kol case I am in awe as I control the blood

I smirk at their looks.

'This isn't even one percent of what I can do '. I think to myself as I contemplate my level of power.

Okay, back to business.

I look back at the slightly pale, muted Esther.

I ripped out the skin covering her mouth, drawing blood and a scream from her.

She looked at me in fear.

"Please, Finn, don't d-" I interrupt her by applying more force to her neck, stopping her from speaking or even breathing at all.

She started to open her mouth to draw breath.

Then I controlled the blood to enter her mouth.

She tried to close her mouth, but it was too late.

She then looked at me in fear.

"P-Please Don't-"

!SNAP!

I interrupt her by snapping her neck like a twig and dropping her currently dead body to the ground.

"Welcome to the World of Darkness, Esther," I say to her 'dead' body.

I then look at my siblings and see them all looking at me in shock, fear, and awe.

I then turn to the Salvatores, and they are looking at me completely terrified.

I then focused on Damon, who started to pale under my scrutiny.

"Hello! I don't think I have introduced myself. My name is Finn.

Mikaleson and I am hoping we could have a talk!" I said giving them a dark smile
