"Now, let's go together!" Diana yelled, swinging the God-Slaying Sword to attack.

However, Superman was faster. A hurricane of his super breath blew Diana away, and he immediately targeted the most vulnerable member of the group, Cyborg.

As the battle intensified, Superman's clouded mind began to tap into his strategic combat instincts. When faced with a disadvantageous situation, he went for the weakest opponent first, aiming for a quick kill.

"No, you don't!" Canary shouted. A giant made of green energy formed around Cyborg, its massive fist colliding with Superman's. The blow left Superman standing firm, but the giant of light began to crumble. The feedback from the attack caused Canary's face to turn red, and blood trickled from his nose.

"How much self-control does Superman usually have...?"

Only by fighting him could they truly grasp his power. This was likely why his fiercest enemies, Lex Luthor and Batman, always treated him as a worst-case scenario. Superman's gentleness was so profound that it made people forget his terrifying strength.

Just as Superman was about to press his advantage, Diana swooped in, forcing him back with her sword. Her thoughts mirrored Luthor's years ago, watching Clark break free from his restraints. How could a Kryptonian, even one being harmed by Kryptonite, still be so strong? Though her God-Slaying Sword could injure him, he was too fast to hit consistently.

"Canary, Cyborg, I need an opening. A single chance to land a killing blow."

Realizing she couldn't win alone, Diana called for a coordinated attack. The Ark had already taken off, but without defeating Superman, he could easily destroy the ships with a single breath, no matter how far they traveled.

"Got it."

Wiping the blood from their faces, Canary and Cyborg nodded to each other and charged toward Superman. He naturally didn't back down. But as he rushed toward them, they split up, flanking him on both sides. This unexpected move briefly stunned Superman, who quickly shifted his focus back to the most damaged opponent, Cyborg.

But just as Superman turned his back on Canary, the Green Lantern ring flared to life. The immense green energy formed a thick barrier, trapping Superman. His path to Cyborg was blocked, forcing him to turn back and attack Canary.

With a powerful will, Canary pushed the ring to its limits, summoning a barrier as strong as Hal Jordan's. Still, Superman's repeated punches shattered it, bringing him face to face with Canary.

"Diana! Now!"

The moment the barrier broke, Cyborg fired a massive energy beam from behind, a last-ditch effort that was just enough to make Superman pause.

That momentary pause was all Diana needed. She seized the opportunity, lunging from the side and slashing the God-Slaying Sword toward Superman's neck. A direct hit would sever his head, ensuring his death. But even with a severe injury, Superman's speed was still otherworldly. He reacted, flying backward.

The God-Slaying Sword didn't land the killing blow, but it did slice through his right arm, severing it at the elbow.

"There's no end to this!"

Diana, the greatest warrior of Paradise Island, acted on instinct. Realizing she couldn't decapitate him, she used her backhand grip on the God-Slaying Sword to stab him directly in the heart.

"What!"

Even an infected Superman felt pain. A deafening roar erupted from him as his heart was pierced. Just as Canary and Cyborg thought the fight was over, Superman, with a final, furious act, punched Diana in the abdomen with all his strength.

That's all it took. One punch. To kill someone as powerful as Diana, one devastating blow was enough.

"Diana!"

Cyborg and Canary watched in horror. But Superman ignored them. He pulled his hand from Diana's abdomen and looked up at the sky. The Ark had just left the atmosphere. Severely wounded, fighting the heroes was no longer his priority. Killing the escaping survivors was.

He shot into the sky, flying toward outer space at a speed that Canary and Cyborg couldn't match. They landed on the ground, finding Diana lying in the rubble, spitting blood.

"Diana... Superman..." Cyborg didn't know what to do. Diana was down, and Superman was heading for the Ark. Who could stop him?

"Don't... worry..." Diana whispered.

Cyborg nodded. "That's right. Although Lucian isn't as good as his father, Superman is severely wounded. He should be able to..."

"Not Lucian..."

Her denial caught their attention. They looked up at the sky, and in the direction Superman had gone, a figure with the same red cape but wearing black armor was rushing toward him at an almost identical speed.

"That's... Clark! How is this possible?"

Diana smiled faintly. "That child is a qualified warrior. Leave the rest to him." She then handed the God-Slaying Sword to Canary. "Canary, take the God-Slaying Sword. Take it away, or give it to Lucian. It's the only thing I can do."

Meanwhile, in the air, Lucian's skin had become transparent, the red energy of the sun glowing from beneath it. "Superman... here I come!"

He endured the pain, chewing a piece of Red Kryptonite into pieces and swallowing it. The Red Kryptonite caused his body's energy to spiral out of control, violently absorbing the solar energy released by his armor. The agony was endless, but it also increased his speed, allowing him to finally overtake the wounded Superman.

Just before Superman reached the Ark, Lucian blocked his path.

"Super... Superman! This road is blocked!"
