Superman's landing wasn't met with his usual, reassuring smile. Instead, he unleashed his power, sending a shockwave through a massive building that housed countless Gotham City survivors. The structure instantly crumbled, its debris injuring and killing those who couldn't escape. But these sacrifices didn't even faze him.

He was just too powerful. There was no way to use the Martian Manhunter's methods to brainwash him; the only option was to confront his overwhelming strength head-on. Giving humanity and the fractured Justice League a single day was the last gasp of his willpower. If they couldn't muster the strength to fight him, he would simply kill them all.

As Superman touched down, his eyes blazed with heat vision, sweeping across the streets. The supports of buildings were instantly severed, and everything nearby was reduced to rubble. Panic spread among the survivors boarding the Ark.

They scrambled to get inside, and those already on board urged the heroes to leave. The reluctance to abandon their homes vanished the moment Superman appeared. When faced with him, they would give up anything.

But the heroes couldn't just abandon the people who hadn't made it to the Ark yet. So, before even facing Superman, they were already in conflict with the very people they were sworn to protect.

"Superman! Stop it!"

A blue beam of energy shot down from the sky, striking Superman squarely. The blast was powerful enough to melt steel, but it only managed to move his feet slightly.

"I won't let you hurt these innocent people anymore."

Cyborg descended from above. Diana had positioned herself between Gotham City and Paradise Island, prepared for Superman's appearance anywhere. She was on her way, and Cyborg's job was to delay Superman and buy time for the survivors. He was ready to sacrifice himself, but he never got the chance.

In the blink of an eye, Superman was in front of him. He grabbed Cyborg's arm and ripped it clean off. The severed mechanical wires sparked as blood spurted from the torn flesh, staining Superman's blue suit.

Cyborg, a half-human, half-machine god due to the influence of the Mother Box, knew he was outmatched. But he never expected to be so easily defeated. He wouldn't die from losing an arm, but when he saw Superman's next punch aimed at his head, he felt the cold breath of death. Destroy the head, and Cyborg was gone for good.

Just as the punch was about to land, a green barrier appeared, blocking Superman's fist. It shattered instantly, but the shockwave alone was enough to send Cyborg flying, crashing into the ruins below.

"Hal, that was close..."

The green energy was, of course, from a Green Lantern. Hal Jordan, who had just finished his call for reinforcements from the Green Lantern Corps, rushed back to Earth and arrived just in time.

"Do you really think an infected Superman would just play games with you?"

Hal's presence drew Superman's attention. Now, he was the target. Superman flew up and lunged at Hal, delivering a punch with the force of a mountain. Hal managed to block it with a Green Lantern shield, but the barrier was instantly covered in cracks. It wouldn't hold up to a second blow.

"Help me!"

Cyborg, now on his feet, knew they were no match for Superman alone. He flew up and fired an energy beam from his remaining arm, hitting Superman from behind. The enraged Superman shifted his attention back to Cyborg, giving Hal a chance to counter-attack.

The two of them continued to fight, but within a minute, they were exhausted. They were engaged in a terrifying, supersonic offensive against Superman, and while they could distract him, his attacks were just too powerful.

Cyborg's other arm was severely damaged, and he was on the verge of losing both. Hal's Green Lantern energy was reaching its limit, struggling to keep up with Superman's relentless assault. With another powerful punch, Superman shattered Hal's green barrier, sending a shockwave that launched the battle thousands of feet into the sky.

"Superman! Come and kill me if you can!"

Cyborg continued to fire energy beams at Superman. But in the midst of the battle, Superman seemed to have adapted. Although still irrational, he was no longer so easily distracted. His eyes remained fixed on Hal, the heat vision building up, ready to strike. With his barrier broken, Hal would be instantly incinerated.

Just as Superman's eyes unleashed their deadly beam, a new figure arrived. Diana, who had finally made it, delivered a powerful punch that sent Superman's head snapping to the side. The heat vision narrowly missed Hal's head. Superman crashed to the ground, leaving a massive crater in Gotham, but instantly flew back into the sky, clashing fists with Diana.

Blood dripped from the sky, but it wasn't Diana's. It was Superman's. His fist had collided with the Godkiller Sword, and the blade, infused with Kryptonite, had nearly severed his hand.

The invincible Superman was finally bleeding.
