A sleek black luxury car glided through the school gates and came to a smooth stop in the parking lot. Its five passengers had finally arrived at the magnificent school building.
The institution radiated prestige and elitism. Even from the entrance, students bustled with various activities—some played basketball, others conducted photoshoots, and a few even filmed what appeared to be a movie. The five-story building stood tall and imposing, complete with luxurious, state-of-the-art facilities.
"Wow, it looks like Suzy's school choice this time isn't so bad after all!" one of them remarked, their face glowing with amazement as they observed the surroundings through the car window.
"We won't know for sure until we get out!" Suzy replied, parking the car and opening her door. The others followed.
A shimmering aura seemed to envelop the five girls as they stepped out, instantly drawing every eye in the vicinity. Their presence was magnetic, captivating everyone who saw them. Never in their lives had any of the onlookers seen beauty quite like theirs.
One by one, the girls emerged in perfect sync, stealing the attention of the entire courtyard.
And who could blame the crowd? Among them was the gentleness of an angel, the timeless elegance of a vampire, and the cool, haughty demeanor of a former demon. Add to that the refreshing aura of a water kingdom princess and the mesmerizing, otherworldly glow of a girl from the stars. Together, their allure was simply irresistible.
"Excuse me! Could you tell us where the principal's office is?" Suzy approached a young man holding a basketball, with Yoona and the others following close behind.
"Excuse me?" Suzy repeated, waving a hand in front of his dazed face. The boy snapped back to reality, flustered and awkward.
"O-oh, yes!" he stammered, so startled he dropped his basketball.
"I asked, where is the principal's office?" Suzy repeated patiently.
"Ah! Straight down this path, then left. Take the elevator up. Once you're out, turn right, then left again, and go straight," he explained in a rush. "Do you… want me to show you the way?" he asked, eyes sparkling with hope.
"No need! We can manage on our own," Suzy quickly declined. She had already noticed the eager gleam in the eyes of other boys nearby, ready to leap at the chance to escort them, while the girls watched with intense, scrutinizing stares.
Following the boy's directions, the five finally arrived at a door clearly labeled Principal's Office.
"Finally here!" they sighed in relief. Finding the room had been more challenging than expected.
They stepped inside to find an elderly man seated with his back to them, almost hidden behind his large leather chair.
"Excuse me, sir? We're here to register," Suzy called out politely. There was no response. The girls exchanged confused glances and shrugged.
"Excuse me!" Suzy tried again, louder this time. Still, no answer.
"Is he deaf?!" Liza grumbled, growing irritated.
"Calm down," Suzy urged, noticing the flicker of flames beginning to dance in Liza's palms.
"Let me handle this," Luna whispered. With a subtle motion of her hand, she summoned water from a nearby aquarium, sending a splash directly onto the principal's face as he spun around in surprise.
"Oh, shit!"
It turned out he had been listening to music through headphones. Blinking water from his eyes, the principal put on his glasses—and froze in shock at the sight of the five girls standing before him.
"Oh… my… God. It's… you!" he gasped.
The girls glanced at one another, baffled.
"What's wrong? Do we know you?" Liza asked bluntly.
"I'm Jonathan! Have you forgotten?" the man exclaimed, beaming with excitement.
"We've met plenty of Jonathans. We don't remember you," Liza retorted sarcastically.
"Sorry, but… have we met?" Suzy asked, genuinely confused.
"Who doesn't remember the Five Angels from Rose Gold High School—our old school!" Jonathan said cheerfully. The girls remained unresponsive, some even looking more puzzled than before.
"There's actually only one angel here," Yoona muttered under her breath—just loud enough for Jonathan to catch. A faint, amused smile touched his lips.
"Hahaha… You haven't changed a bit, still so charming!" Jonathan's bright laughter broke the brief silence, leaving a strangely familiar impression.
Liza, already holding back her irritation, snapped. "Stop acting like you know us!" she said, her voice sharp and dismissive. "We're only here to re-enroll." Unconsciously, she slammed her hand down on the registration desk, making Jonathan jump and his laughter die instantly.
Jonathan blinked, his wrinkled face a mix of puzzlement and surprise. "Re-enroll…?" he repeated slowly, as if tasting the word. His eyes swept over the five girls once more, then widened in disbelief. "You… as students?" The question came out in a tone of pure incredulity. He quickly composed himself, taking in their youthful, flawless appearances—a stark contrast to his own aging frame.
"Yes, we're new here," Liza replied, crossing her arms. "So please, stop wasting our time."
"O-oh, of course! Then, please… fill out these forms first," Jonathan stammered, hurriedly grabbing five registration sheets from the pile on his desk and handing them over with slightly trembling hands.
It didn't take long. In just a few minutes, Suzy gathered all the completed forms, stacked them neatly, and handed them back. "All done," she said simply.
Jonathan accepted them with an expression of awe, struggling to maintain his composure. "V-very well. You may proceed directly to your class. I'll have a teacher escort you." Without delay, he picked up the phone on his desk and summoned a faculty member. Soon, a teacher arrived, and the five girls followed them out without a backward glance.
Left alone in his office, Jonathan slumped back into his chair, mind swirling with confusion.
"Was I mistaken? But how can five people who look exactly like them appear all at once? And… they all have the same names!" he murmured to himself, running a hand over his balding head as he tried to unravel the mystery he had just encountered.
As they moved through the school hallway, the five girls deliberately lagged behind their escorting teacher. Luna, visibly uneasy, reached for Suzy's hand and leaned in close, her voice dropping to a worried whisper.
"What if we get discovered?"
