Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 – Might Guy!

As Yuya approached the age of eight, he felt ready to engage in this hellish training regimen.

In just a month, his strength had increased somewhat, but more significantly, his endurance and stamina had improved.

Returning home, Yuya estimated that if he continued like this, it wouldn't be long before these basic exercises became ineffective.

At that point, he would need to start incorporating weighted training.

In this world, weighted ninja tools were quite advanced. The seemingly unremarkable iron plates that Rock Lee wore on his legs in the original story had an astonishing weight.

However, thinking about how Sasuke Uchiha had managed to catch up to Lee's speed in just a month by using lightning to stimulate his cells, Yuya felt a twinge of envy.

If only he could find a training method that suited him!

With a deep breath, Yuya pushed those thoughts aside and resumed his training.

At home, he felt free to engage in extreme workouts.

Extreme training meant pushing his body to its limits, forcing out every ounce of strength, and surpassing those limits in a hellish mode!

After prolonged training, Yuya's body began to show noticeable muscle definition.

However, this was just the first stage.

In the world of ninjas, muscle alone was quite ordinary and didn't necessarily indicate great strength.

As he continued to train, these muscles would gradually disappear, only to reappear later, becoming more refined.

That would likely coincide with the time his body fully matured. Given the early maturation in this world, Yuya estimated he would reach that point around fourteen to sixteen years of age.

But the real issue was whether he could survive until then.

In less than two years, the Second Great Ninja War would erupt, and Yuya remembered it all too well.

With a month of training behind him, Yuya's shockwave power had also grown stronger. He might now be able to directly shatter weaker C-rank ninjutsu.

Of course, the power of C-rank ninjutsu varied depending on whether it was used by a Chunin, Jonin, or even someone like Uchiha Madara.

Ninjutsu was indeed vast and profound, but the same could be said for taijutsu and Yuya's Shock Release Bloodline Limit!

If developed to its fullest extent, perhaps he could truly shatter space!

Sweat dripped continuously onto the ground.

His arms were nearly completely stiff, and he was relying solely on willpower to keep going.

He had nearly surpassed his previous limits.

Yet, a look of determination graced Yuya's face as he gritted his teeth, pushing himself to continue until he exceeded his last count by several dozen before finally collapsing, unable to rise again.

Yuya approached his training with a harsh, almost forced attitude.

There was no choice; if he didn't push himself, how could he hope to survive the Second Great Ninja War?

As a child from an outsider village without any background, once the war broke out, he would undoubtedly be sent to carry out the most dangerous frontline missions.

Kushina was different.

She was the designated next Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails in Konoha. Not only would she likely not see the battlefield, but once the war truly erupted, she would be under heavy protection and unable to leave the village.

So Yuya didn't worry about Kushina's safety once the war began.

The only one he needed to worry about was himself.

Suddenly, the sound of a key turning in the lock caught his attention.

Yuya looked toward the door in surprise, wanting to get up, but having just reached his limit, he couldn't recover quickly.

The only person who had a key to his home and whom he trusted was Kushina.

"You've done it again, haven't you?"

Kushina, carrying a dinner, sighed in exasperation as she looked at Yuya's state. Ignoring the sweat covering him, she helped him up.

"I really don't understand why you're pushing yourself so hard... haven't you already awakened that Shock Release Bloodline Limit and become strong?"

Kushina puffed out her cheeks, looking at Yuya in confusion.

Yuya thought for a moment, choosing not to tell her about the wars and darkness. Instead, he smiled and said, "Isn't there someone stronger than me?"

"Minato Namikaze?" Kushina pouted, "But it's not easy to surpass him."

"Exactly because it's not easy that I have to work hard," Yuya replied with a smile.

Kushina rolled her eyes but ultimately smiled back.

"I believe you'll surpass him one day."

"Yeah."

Yuya nodded, then scratched his head, feeling a bit awkward as he looked at Kushina. "By the way, could you lend me some money?"

"Uh?"

Kushina looked at Yuya in surprise, instinctively responding, "Of course... what do you need it for?"

"Um, it's nothing, just to buy some training tools... Hehe, most of my money has been deducted."

As an orphan, Yuya received some financial aid in Konoha.

However, since he was a child from an outsider village, most of his funds were deducted, leaving him with barely enough to eat.

Yuya felt helpless about this situation; he could only work hard to become stronger and gradually escape these awkward circumstances.

"Those despicable people…"

Hearing Yuya's words, Kushina felt a surge of anger but ultimately sighed in resignation, patting Yuya's shoulder. "Alright, I'll lend it to you."

"Yeah, I probably won't be able to pay you back for a while, but I'll become a genin soon, and I should be able to repay you after doing a few missions."

Yuya smiled at Kushina.

Kushina pouted, "If you plan to pay me back, then I won't lend it to you!"

"…"

Having expected this response, Yuya sighed in resignation. "Alright, alright... I'll make it up to you in other ways."

"Hmmph."

Kushina huffed playfully, and after lending Yuya the money he needed, she left his home.

Looking at the dinner Kushina had left behind, Yuya's gaze softened slightly.

"Hehe... at this rate, I can't shake the feeling that I'm going to completely change the original story. But I can't ignore Kushina's kindness."

Walking through the streets of Konoha, Yuya looked around, finally breaking into a smile.

It always gave him a surreal feeling.

But he was indeed here, in the world of Naruto, in Konoha Village.

Although he had been in Konoha for a while, Yuya had been so immersed in training and becoming stronger that he hadn't paid much attention to the bustling streets of the village.

After wandering for a while, Yuya arrived at the ninja tool shop.

Just as he was about to enter, he suddenly paused.

He spotted a very familiar figure.

A green jumpsuit, thick eyebrows... but at this time, Lee should still be silent, and Guy would be just a child if he had been born at all, right?

There was no doubt now.

Yuya instantly recognized the ninja in front of him, who was also purchasing weighted ninja tools.

It was Might Guy, the eternal genin of Konoha... and the father of Might Guy!
