Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 – Sorry, I Still Got a Little Hurt

If it had been any other student facing a C-rank ninjutsu, they would likely have been instantly defeated!

Yuya's expression grew serious as he pushed off the ground, retreating without hesitation.

However, his speed was clearly no match for the oncoming Great Fireball.

Just as the fireball was about to strike him, a cold glint flashed in Yuya's eyes. The kunai in his hand suddenly glowed with a white aura as he slashed downward.

"Split for me!!"

Crack!

The white aura erupted at that moment, but under Yuya's control, it didn't confront the fireball head-on. Instead, it split the flames to either side.

At that point, the fireball had nearly reached its maximum distance, and with Yuya's full force, it suddenly divided!

Flames roared past Yuya on both sides, not touching him at all.

"Good!"

Seeing this, Yuya didn't show any signs of joy; instead, he became even calmer.

He still couldn't directly counter a C-rank ninjutsu, so he had to rely on clever tactics to deal with it... but he was getting closer to shattering a C-rank ninjutsu directly!

The flames blazed fiercely, and the students outside wore expressions of horror.

"He can't be dead, right...?"

"Oh my god, this is terrifying!"

The students couldn't see what was happening within the range of the fireball; they only saw Yuya engulfed in flames.

Everyone wore faces of fear.

On the other side, Kushina Uzumaki could no longer contain herself and was about to rush onto the field. Tears welled in her eyes as she felt immense guilt.

Why did she let Yuya fight Izumi? Why didn't she stop him?!

At that moment, the only one who could intervene, the Chunin teacher, gritted his teeth and held back.

It seemed Yuya was doomed.

Izumi Uchiha watched the dissipating fireball, thinking Yuya must have been reduced to ashes. His face was slightly pale, but there was a hint of cold satisfaction.

But in the next instant, his expression froze.

His eyes widened in shock and disbelief.

From the fading flames, a figure gradually became clearer, and to everyone's astonishment, it was Yuya!

"No way!!"

The Great Fireball... had actually been withstood by Yuya?!

Izumi found it nearly impossible to believe. Seeing Yuya emerge from the flames, he panicked and threw a punch at him.

Having withstood the Great Fireball, Yuya was surely at his limit, merely holding on.

With that thought, Izumi's confidence returned.

However, facing his punch, Yuya's gaze turned cold as he met it with a punch of his own.

A dim white light swirled around Yuya's fist.

In the next moment, their fists collided in mid-air.

Crack!!

Once again, that eerie sound echoed, and fine cracks spread through the air, as if the very fabric of space was fracturing, terrifying to behold.

Izumi's arm made a cracking sound as he collided with Yuya's fist. Ultimately, he couldn't withstand the force, and his arm was brutally broken!

The shockwave spread out, sending him flying backward.

"This... is impossible…"

Thud!

Izumi crashed to the ground, his eyes filled with shock and disbelief. He suddenly coughed up blood, unable to endure the pain, and fainted.

The arena fell into silence.

At that moment, Yuya casually extinguished the few flames still smoldering on his clothes and gently pulled away the singed strands of hair, tossing them aside.

After the silence, the crowd erupted in chaos.

"This is impossible!!"

"Oh my god! Is he a zombie?!"

"How did Yuya withstand such a terrifying fire ninjutsu? It's simply unbelievable."

As everyone came to their senses, they felt as if they were dreaming.

All the students displayed expressions of shock and disbelief.

Yuya... had actually defeated Izumi Uchiha?!

This meant Yuya was no longer the bottom-tier student; he had suddenly transformed into a genius, second only to Minato Namikaze!

It was nothing short of a miraculous feat!

In the crowd, Kushina Uzumaki stared blankly at the scene, tears glistening in her eyes.

She still couldn't process what had just happened.

Yuya didn't pay attention to the astonished students; instead, he looked at Kushina and apologetically wiped at a small burn on his arm.

"Sorry, I still got a little hurt."

"…"

Kushina bit her lip, staring at Yuya in disbelief.

"Idiot!"

Unable to hold back her tears, she wiped her eyes and pouted, then playfully lunged at Yuya, returning to her lively self.

Meanwhile, the Chunin teacher was still in shock.

He stared at Yuya, his expression a mix of horror and disbelief.

"You... you…"

"It seems I won, right?" Yuya replied calmly, looking at the Chunin teacher with a faint smile.

The teacher's face was filled with incredulity, and he couldn't help but rub his eyes.

He had never expected Yuya to win, and that the one who ended up injured was Izumi Uchiha!

If Yuya had been the one hurt, it wouldn't have mattered, but with Izumi injured, the Chunin teacher would face immense pressure and responsibility!

His expression darkened, but he ultimately had to announce Yuya's victory with a bitter smile.

However, noticing Izumi's injuries from a distance, the Chunin teacher's face grew even more grim as he leaned in to whisper to Yuya.

"Be careful; you've hurt a member of the Uchiha clan."

"I can handle it, no need to worry, teacher," Yuya replied nonchalantly as he stepped off the field.

Countless gazes turned toward Yuya, filled with lingering shock.

Even Minato's eyes sparkled with intrigue as he began to take Yuya seriously.

After this practical exam, Yuya instantly became the center of discussion throughout the entire ninja school.

Many were astonished by the power Yuya had displayed.

Yuya explained it as the Shock Release Bloodline Limit.

This explanation was flawless.

After all, in the ninja world, there were countless bloodline limits, from the Sharingan and Byakugan to body techniques like the Kaguya clan's Shikotsumyaku and the Hōzuki clan's Hydration Technique, as well as chakra-based techniques like Wood Release and Ice Release.

Everyone gradually came to understand.

After the initial shock, the excitement began to settle down.

In a clearing within Konoha Village.

The sky was gradually darkening, but Yuya showed no signs of leaving. Instead, he continued to train vigorously in taijutsu.

Having finally gained some recognition, Yuya knew that trouble would soon follow, so he pushed himself even harder to enhance the power of his Shock Release Bloodline Limit.

"Four hundred fifty-one, four hundred fifty-two... four hundred ninety-nine, five hundred!"

"Ha!"

Reaching his target number, Yuya stretched his nearly stiff arms and stood up.

When training outside, he generally wouldn't push himself to the limit.

Only at home would he attempt to squeeze every ounce of strength from his body.

Though this might not hold much significance, in this world of ninjas, Yuya was determined to cultivate his vigilance from a young age.

"At this rate, it's about time to add some weights."

Shaking off the sweat, Yuya headed home.

It had been nearly a month since he had eaten that fruit that shouldn't exist in this world and gained the Shock Release Bloodline Limit.

During this month, Yuya had completely abandoned training in ninjutsu and chakra, focusing all his energy on taijutsu instead.
