LUNA DELILAH POV.
"He's here! He's here!" The servant girl kept shouting more like an excitement, her chest rising and falling as though she had run through the entire pack grounds to reach us.
My heart stopped.
"Who is here?" I snapped, the words spilling out sharper than I intended.
Her wide, terrified eyes fixed on me. "Lucius, my Luna. He's back from abroad. He's asking for his father."
The name struck the air like thunder. Lucius.
For a moment, the room fell into silence so thick I could hear the blood rushing in my ears. My body stiffened, my fingers tightening around the cup I still held.
I turned to my son. Tyrant's face mirrored my own…as our faces were filled with shock, disbelief, dread. His mouth parted slightly, but no sound came.
And then I looked at Leo.
My mate's eyes widened at first, his lips trembling as though he feared the news was a lie. Then suddenly, like a man reborn, joy flooded his face.
