ALPHA'S LEO'S POV.
As she held her mirror in her hand, runes glowing across its surface, her robes whipping in the unnatural wind.
" Priestess, do something! I think he's being possessed by something.''
She didn't speak to me, she didn't dare. Instead, she pointed the mirror toward my son, and its surface rippled like water.
And then we saw.
The reflection didn't show my boy. It showed something else. A shadowed figure, tall and crowned with horns, standing where he stood.
Behind it, flames devoured forests, rivers ran black, and wolves bowed in chains.
I staggered back. "What… what is that?"
Her voice shook. "The prophecy your son just mocked. The curse we thought sealed, the Magic of Destruction."
And then the mirror cracked.
The voices suddenly stopped. My son collapsed onto the bed, his small chest heaving, his eyes returning to their innocent hazel. He looked so fragile, so breakable, as if none of what had happened was real.
