Lincoln, his friends, and their partner Digimon make their way to the pond at Tall Timbers Park where Lisa's broadcast instructed any people not taken by Titamon's forces to go for safety.
"How close are we to Lisa's safe zone?" asked Stella.
"We're supposed to look for a dome-shaped barrier." said Lincoln.
"Let's just keep looking until we find it." said Zach.
"We must also be sure not to be spotted by any Vilemon that might be lurking around here." said Agumon.
"Keep your eyes peeled." said Lalamon.
The group kept walking until they see a blue energy dome near the pond. Inside the barrier, they saw people, RVs, several vehicles, and tents, even Camperzilla.
"That must be it." said Rusty.
"We'll stick to the treeline as cover and make our way over there." said Lincoln.
"I hope my dads are in there." said Clyde.
"I hope all of our families are safe inside." said Stella.
"Let's get going so we can find out." said Liam.
The group sneaks through the shrubs at the edge of the woods and make their way to the barrier.
"So far, so good." said Zach as they get close to their destination. They suddenly hear the sounds of explosions coming from close by.
"What's that?" asked Gaomon. They get closer to the barrier until they see what was making the noise; a Digimon that had the body of a tank, gun barrels for hands, and a tank cannon for its head, firing shots at the force field.
"What's that?" asked Clyde. Liam points his artifact at the Digimon.
"That there's Tankmon." said Liam. "He's a Champion Level, Cyborg Type, Data Attribute Digimon; his special attack is Hyper Cannon."
"Come out, humans!" shouts the Digimon, now known as Tankmon, as it kept firing at the barrier. Lincoln takes a close look at the barrier and sees several people inside of it.
"Those poor people." said Stella.
"We gotta do something." said Elecmon.
Meanwhile, in the barrier, at a tall antennae that was projecting the force field near a control panel connected to it, Lisa Loud was observing the power meter, keeping an eye on the energy levels with a lot of people watching her.
"My force field is barely able to handle the blasts from that creature." said Lisa with concern.
"Well, it better hang in there." said Mayor Davis.
"What are those things attacking our home?" asked Rita Loud.
"Unclear at this time." said Lisa.
"They're aliens! We always knew they'd be here to take over our planet!" exclaimed Mr. Gurdle, Zach's father; Mrs. Gurdle nods in response.
"What are we going to do if those things get in here?" asked Howard McBride.
"Run away?" suggested Rodney Spokes, Rusty's father.
"I can take them on!" said Lynn Jr as she holds out half of a baseball bat.
"You tried using that bat on one of them, remember?" Lori responds.
"Is there anything we can do?" asked Luna.
"I don't know." said Lisa. "If that creature overloads the force field's generator, then we are doomed."
Outside the force field, Lincoln decides to take action and turns towards his partner Digimon.
"Agumon!" shouts Lincoln as he holds out his artifact.
"I was waiting for you to do that." said Agumon before Lincoln pushes the button on his artifact, making his partner spin around.
"Agumon, Digivolve to..." said Agumon. He then transforms into GeoGreymon. "...GeoGreymon!" Determination flowing through Lincoln, another button on his artifact glowed; he pushes it.
"GeoGreymon, Digivolve to..." said GeoGreymon as a fiery tornado encircles his body. When the tornado vanishes, he was now RizeGreymon. "...RizeGreymon!"
Back at the barrier, Tankmon is aiming its nose cannon at it.
"Hyper Cannon!" shouts Tankmon as he fires another shot at the barrier, only for RizeGreymon to jump into the path of the missile and block it with his barrel arm.
"Leave the humans here alone!" said RizeGreymon. Inside the barrier, people were looking at him.
"Is it just me, or is that creature with a gun barrel for an arm protecting us?" asked Luna.
"I believe it is." said Lisa.
"Why?" asked Lana.
"Who cares?" asked Lola. "As long as it's not shooting at us like that tank-looking one is."
Back outside the barrier, RizeGreymon rushes at the Tankmon with his barrel arm raised up over his head.
"Barrel Smash!" shouts RizeGreymon as he slams the Tankmon across its torso with his barrel arm, sending it flying away from the force field.
"Ooh, that had to hurt." said Lynn Jr.
"I will make you pay for your interference!" shouts the Tankmon as he holds out his arm gun barrels. "Sub Machine Gun!" A large number of shots fire out of them, hitting RizeGreymon's chest armor, bouncing off of it, with no ill effect.
"Nice attack." said RizeGreymon as if nothing happened before he points his gun barrel arm at Tankmon, who was starting to look a little nervous.
"Wait, don't!" shouts Tankmon.
"Trident Revolver!" shouts RizeGreymon before three powerful shots fire out of his barrel arm; the first shots demolishes its head cannon, the second shot damages its lower body, and the final shot hits its torso.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" shouts Tankmon as his body shorts out before exploding into pieces.
"That creature beat the other one!" said Rita.
"Whose side is it on?" asked Lori. RizeGreymon suddenly turned back into Koromon.
"That thing looked cooler when it was the big thing." said Lana. As Leni looks at Koromon; she spots Lincoln, his friends, and the other Digimon partners, running towards the barrier.
"Hey, it's Lincoln!" said Leni.
"Lincoln?!" said the rest of Lincoln's family. The group soon reached the barrier.
"Let us in, quick!" said Lincoln. The people in the barrier looked at their Digimon partners.
"Don't worry; they're on our side." said Clyde.
"Clyde!" said Howard and Harold McBride in unison.
"Dads!" replied Clyde.
"Let them in, Lisa!" said Lynn Sr.
"On it." said Lisa; she takes out a remote control-like device that was attached to a belt she was wearing and points the antennae on it at the barrier; she turns a dial on in, then pushes a button; Soundwaves emits from the antennae and onto the barrier, creating a hole big enough for Lincoln and the others to get through. They ran through the hole and into the safe zone. Lisa pushes a button on the device she had and unleashes more soundwaves from the antennae at the hole; it shrinks down to nothing.
"Oh man; are you guys all right?" asked Lincoln. He was suddenly tackle-hugged by his sisters.
"LINCOLN!" cried his sisters as they gave him a group hug.
"You're back! You're really back!" cried Lana as he hugged and nuzzled Lincoln's leg.
"Where have you been?" asked Lori.
"Wincoln! Wincoln!" says Lily as she clung to Lincoln's head. Clyde was suddenly hugged by his dads.
"Oh, Clyde! We were so worried about you!" said Harold. Liam was currently being hugged by Mimi Hunnicut; he suddenly sees the animals from his family's farm running to him.
"Virginia! Carol Anne! Clarence! Yolko Ono! Clucky! Everybody! You're all here!" said Liam, jumping from Mimi's arms; the farm animals reached him and began nuzzling him.
"Yep. Got them all here from the farm." said Mimi. Rusty, Zach, and Stella were being hugged by their parents; Rusty was also being hugged by his brother, Rocky. After Lincoln's sisters were done hugging, he was suddenly hugged by his parents.
"Lincoln, Lincoln, Lincoln!" cried Lynn Sr as he embraced Lincoln while Koromon watched on.
"We were worried sick!" said Rita as she also hugged her son.
"I missed you all, too." said Lincoln. Lana was currently looking at Koromon who was looking up at her.
"Lincoln, what is this thing?" asked Lana.
"That's Koromon." said Lincoln.
"Nice to meet you all." said Koromon. Lily crawls over to Koromon and starts to cuddle him.
"Well, if Lily trusts him, then that's good enough for me." said Lori.
"So, where have you and your friends been, Lincoln?" asked Luan.
"We have a lot to tell you all about." said Clyde. Everyone gathered around Lincoln, his friends, and their Digimon partners as he reads from his journal, telling them about their quest to return home, the Digital World, all their battles while showing everyone his illustrations of all the enemy Digimon they faced; Lincoln and his friends' families could only stare in amazement at what they were told.
Moments later, Mayor Davis was standing in front of everyone while Lincoln, his friends, and their Digimon were behind her.
"Listen up, everyone; we now have new information involving these...Digimon as they're called." said Mayor Davis through a megaphone. "This Titamon and his army of Digimon are here to enslave our world and everyone in it. While this barrier provides some protection from these creatures, we now have added security." She motions towards Lincoln and the others, along with their Digimon partners.
"Since these kids have Digimon partners, as well as experience dealing with hostile Digimon, they will provide security." said Mayor Davis. "From now on, whenever a group of our people are on a supply run, that group must bring one of these kids and their Digimon partner along with them. We will also be sure to keep at least one of these kids and their Digimon in the barrier at all time in case one of Titamon's forces tries to get through the barrier while the others are away."
Later inside Camperzilla, Lincoln and Koromon were being hugged by the rest of the Louds.
"We're so glad you and your friends are back, safe and sound." said Rita.
"That means Rita and I won't be going to jail after all." said Lynn Sr.
"But it's more important that Lincoln's okay; right, honey?" Rita asked her husband through clenched teeth.
"Y-Y-Yes, of course." Lynn Sr stammered.
"You've been having a tough time without us, bro." said Luna.
"We managed to survive on our own." said Lincoln. His artifact started to glow.
"What's with that object on your arm?" asked Lisa. Lincoln pushes the button that was glowing on it, making Koromon Digivolve into Agumon, surprising everyone. "Is this that Digivolution phenomenon you told us about?"
"Yes, this is Agumon." said Lincoln. "My partner's Rookie Form."
"Cool!" said Lana. Lily grabs onto Agumon's tail and giggles as it lifts her up a little.
"What is this device, brother?" asked Lisa, looking at Lincoln's artifact.
"When we first arrived at the Digital World, my friends and I had these small devices called Digivices." replied Lincoln. "By themselves, they help Digivolve our partner Digimon all the way up to their Champion forms." He then looks at his artifact. "But we got these artifacts and our Digivices merged with them; thanks to these artifacts, we can now Digivolve our partners to their Ultimate levels."
"Fascinating." said Lisa. "To think there has been an entire world exisiting inside cyberspace."
"A world where meat is grown from the ground like vegetables." said Lynn Jr. "Wish we could do that in this world."
"Do you think you and your friends can take out that Titamon you told us about?" asked Luan.
"Judging by how you described him, he's literally much stronger than a thousand Lynns." said Lori.
"He is powerful, but Seraphimon did give our artifacts an upgrade that might give us a chance." said Lincoln.
"Guess we'll wait and see what happens." said Lucy from behind Lincoln, startling them.
"Man, I even missed you popping up out of nowhere and nearly giving me a heart attack." said Lincoln as he pats his chest to calm his heartbeat.
"Let's get some sleep." said Lynn Sr, stretching.
"Yeah, my friends and I have a long battle ahead of us." said Lincoln.
"I wish we could help, but there's not much we can do against those Digimon things." said Lori.
"I wish we had Digimon partners like you and your friends do, Lincoln." said Lana.
"I want a cute one." said Lola. As Lincoln and Agumon walked towards a ladder leading up to Lincoln's room, Lisa walks to Agumon.
"Agumon; before you retire for the night, I want to ask you to provide me with something." said Lisa.
"What?" asked Agumon. A minute later, Agumon walk out of the bathroom, carrying a tupperware containing what appeared to be pink poop; he gives it to Lisa who was waiting outside the bathroom. "Why do you need that?"
"Fecal research." replied Lisa. Agumon shrugs and climbs up the ladder leading to Lincoln's room where he joined Lincoln. Minutes later, Lincoln and Agumon were laying in Lincoln's bed; Agumon was asleep while Lincoln looks at you.
"Well, my friends and I are back in our world with our families." said Lincoln. "I don't know how we'll do against Titamon, but we're not going to let him take over our world." He then lets out a yawn. "Well, I better get some sleep; me and Agumon have a job to do tomorrow." He soon drifts off to sleep.
Lincoln and his friends have finally reunited with their families. Will they be able to defeat Titamon and his forces, and save their world? Wait and find out.
