Morning soon came in Royal Woods, Michigan; inside Camperzilla at the Tall Timbers Park safe zone, the Loud sisters were eating breakfast while Lynn Sr was cooking in the kitchen while Rita was pouring milk into two glasses. Lincoln and Agumon were climbing down the ladder from Lincoln's room.
"Morning, everyone." said Lincoln after he reaches the bottom of the ladder, only for him and Agumon to be group hugged by his sisters and parents.
"Morning." replied everyone else in unison. Once they release Lincoln and Agumon; Lynn Sr puts a breakfast burrito onto a plate next to one that also had a breakfast burrito on it; he walks over to Lincoln and Agumon.
"Here you go, son." said Lynn Sr, giving Lincoln one of the plates; he then gives Agumon the other.
"Thank you, Mr. Loud." said Agumon. Lynn Sr looks at Lincoln with tears in his eyes and wraps his arms around him.
"I'm so glad you're back, Lincoln!" cried Lynn Sr as he continued hugging Lincoln. After breaking the hug, Lincoln and Agumon sit down at the table just as Rita sets glasses of milk near them.
"Thank goodness Mimi Hunnicut brought all her farm animals here." said Rita.
"Yes; we have an endless supply of fresh milk and eggs." said Lisa.
"So, Lisa; how did you make the barrier so quickly?" asked Lincoln.
"Actually, brother; I made this barrier months ago." said Lisa. "You see, Zach's parental units requested I make this in the event of an 'alien uprising' and we needed a safe place for survivors. I told them such a concept was preposterous."
"Then why did you make it?" asked Lincoln.
"They offered me plutonium in exchange." said Lisa.
"Was that what you used to make that processor?" asked Lincoln.
"No, I ran out before I made that device." said Lisa. "I used what can be found in Flippees."
"Oh." said Lincoln.
"So, what are you going to do today, Lincoln?" asked Rita.
"Well, it is me and friends job to provide security for the safe zone and protect the supply runners." replied Lincoln. "I'm going to see if one of the groups needs me and Agumon to go with them."
"You sure you want to do that?" asked Lori.
"Yes; it'll give me the feeling of earning my keep here." replied Lincoln before biting into his breakfast burrito.
"Man; going through a desert, up a volcano, through a frozen wasteland, and surviving all that; you're tougher than I thought." said Lynn Jr.
"You were in a cemetery too." said Lucy from beside Lincoln, scaring him. "Lucky."
"You and your Mortician's Club hold meetings at the Royal Woods Cemetery, Lucy." said Luan.
"But there aren't any hostile Digimon in the Royal Woods Cemetery." said Lisa.
"I am totes glad I didn't meet that Dokugumon thing." said Leni, remembering the drawing of Dokugumon that Lincoln drew of the tarantula-like Digimon. After Lincoln and Agumon finished eating and drank their milk, Lincoln puts their plates and glasses into the sink and stepped out of Camperzilla.
Lincoln and Agumon walked around the safe zone and looked around. In the center of it was the force field antennae; there was a large tent that acted as a medical station, a food truck that was serving people that were living in tents, several porta potties, and there were several vehicles lined up next to each. Lincoln sees two men walking by, carrying water canisters.
"Hey, Loud!" Lincoln hears someone calling out to him. He and Agumon turns to see Lincoln's homeroom teacher, Mr. Bolhofner walking over to him. "Me and some other men are going on a supply run at the grocery store; and by order of Mayor Davis, we have to bring one of you kids and your Digimon partner along, so I need you and your partner to come with."
"Yes, Mr. Bolhofner." said Lincoln. He and Agumon follow Mr. Bolhofner to what he recognized as the school van that had a wagon trailer attached to it where two other men were standing near.
"I have to admit, Loud; surviving off the land in hostile territory for weeks is impressive." said Mr. Bolhofner.
"Uh, thanks?" Lincoln replied. As he, Agumon, and the men neared the school van, he sees Clyde, Gaomon, Howard and Harold McBride, and Norm, the janitor from Royal Woods Elementary School, next to the McBrides van that also had a wagon trailer attached to it. "Hey, Clyde."
"Oh, morning, Lincoln." said Clyde. "We're going to our old elementary school to look for supplies."
"I have the keys to the building." said Norm, patting a keyring attached to his belt.
"Me, Kudamon, my Mee-Maw, and two other fellers are going to our farm; gonna see if any of our crops survived." said Liam who was standing near two pickup trucks with his grandmother and Kudamon, along with two other men.
"Your little sister, Lana, gave our truck here a tune up so it will carry more and go faster." said Mimi.
"We're going to the mall." said Stella, who was near another van with Lalamon, a man, and a woman.
"And we're going to the middle school." said Zach, who was motioning to his parents and Lynn Jr.
"Lynn's going too?" asked Lincoln.
"She knows the middle school and she's strong, so she'll be able to carry more stuff." said Zach.
"So, I guess Rusty's staying here in case a hostile Digimon tries to get through the barrier." said Clyde.
"Okay; be careful out there." said Lincoln.
"You too, Lincoln." said Stella. After they climbed into the vehicles, they drive to the edge of the safe zone near the barrier. A woman aims a device exactly like the one Lisa used to make an opening in the barrier and pushes a button, making an opening big enough for the vehicles to go through. The vehicles go through the opening; after the last one leaves, the woman pushes the button on the device, releasing soundwaves from it at the opening, closing it.
"Be careful, guys." said Rusty as he and Elecmon watched. Rodney Spokes walks to Rusty and gives him a walkie talkie.
"Here; if a Digimon is spotted and it looks like it's trying to get through the barrier, someone will let you know through this." said Rodney.
"Thanks, Dad." said Rusty.
At the Royal Woods Arena, several Vilemon were perched on top of the it; inside, in the middle of the arena, Titamon and Lilithmon were standing with several Digimon. People were sitting on the seats of the arena, frightened and crying while several more Vilemon watched them.
"Tell you what, chief; let me and Nacho go, and I'll let you have TWO free items from my store." Flip says to a Vilemon nearby while Nacho sat next to him; the Vilemon responds by glaring at him, making Flip nervous.
"Are our forces finding more humans, Lilithmon?" asked Titamon.
"We're still looking, my lord." replied Lilithmon. Cerberusmon Werewolf Mode walks over to them.
"What do you have to report?" asked Titamon.
"I haven't heard from Tankmon, my lord; and it seems one of our Vilemon is missing." replied Cerberusmon Werewolf Mode.
"Where are they?!" asked Titamon.
"I have no clue, my lord." replied Cerberusmon Werewolf Mode.
"Send Musyamon to the barrier at the park to check on him." said Titamon.
"Very well, my lord." said Cerberusmon Werewolf Mode and walks away.
Moments later, at the Tall Timbers Park safe zone, Rusty was standing around with Elecmon.
"How do you think our friends are doing, Rusty?" asked Elecmon.
"Not sure; I'm sure they're doing fine." said Rusty.
"Yes; we must believe in them." said Elecmon. Just then, a voice came through the walkie talkie Rusty has on him.
'We have a hostile Digimon trying to get through the barrier on the east side of the safe zone!' a woman's voice said through the walkie talkie.
"We'll be right there!" replied Rusty into his walkie talkie. He and Elecmon ran towards the east side of the safe zone while several other people followed after him. Seconds later, Rusty and Elecmon reach the barrier where they see a humanoid Digimon, clad in samurai armor and wielding a sword it was using to strike the force field.
"What is that thing, Mr. Spokes?" Mayor Davis asked Rusty before he points his artifact at the attacking Digimon.
"That's Musyamon." said Rusty. "He's a Champion Level, Wizard Type, Virus Attribute Digimon; his special attack is Shogun Sword."
"Where is Lisa Loud?" asked Mayor Davis.
"Right here, Mayor Davis." said Lisa as she runs over with her opening-creating device.
"Let Mr. Spokes and his partner Digimon out." said Mayor Davis.
"Affirmative." said Lisa as she makes an opening in the barrier far from where Musyamon was hitting it so Rusty and Elecmon can get out; soon after, Lisa closes the opening.
"Ready, Elecmon?" asked Rusty.
"You know I am!" said Elecmon. Rusty pushes the button on his artifact and Elecmon begins spinning around. "Elecmon, Digivolve to..." He then turns into Leomon.
"...Leomon!" said Leomon. All the girls who were watching, saw Leomon, and blushed.
"Bah...bah...bah." said the girls.
"He looks like such a hottie." said Mollie.
"Thanks." said Rusty, grinning.
"I was talking about him." said Mollie, pointing at Leomon.
"He has such a luxurious mane." said Girl Jordan.
"Yeah; I take good care of my hair." said Rusty.
"I was talking about him." said Girl Jordan, pointing at Leomon. All the girls started taking pictures of Leomon with their phones. Rusty frowns before turning towards Musyamon.
"Let's get that Musyamon!" said Rusty.
"Yes, Rusty." said Leomon.
"Such a manly voice." said Paula with adoration. Musyamon turned towards Leomon.
"Leomon! I was hoping I would one day battle you." said Musyamon, holding out his sword towards Leomon.
"Then I will keep you waiting no more." said Leomon, grabbing the hilt of his sword; Musyamon runs towards Leomon.
"Shogun Sword!" shouts Musyamon, swinging his sword down towards Leomon.
"Lion Sword!" shouts Leomon, unsheathing his sword and using it to block Musyamon's sword. Musyamon continued to swing his sword at Leomon, but he continued to block it. Musymon swings his sword upward, knocking Leomon's sword up and making him lose balance; Musyamon then kicks Leomon in the chest, knocking him back.
"Ninja Blade!" shouts Musyamon as blue flames surrounds his sword, and he swings it at Leomon, hitting him, and knocking him back further. The girls watching looked at Leomon with concern.
"I hope he's okay." said a girl.
"Don't worry; that Digimon's rugged body looks like it can take anything." said another girl, looking at Leomon with admiration. Back at the battle outside the barrier.
"Shogun Sword!" shouts Musyamon, swinging his sword at Leomon, but he jumps back, dodging the attack.
"Smashing Kick!" shouts Leomon, running at Musyamon and delivering a heel kick to the side of its head, knocking him to the ground while his sword falls out of his hand and lands on the ground several feet from it.
"My sword!" shouts Musyamon. He gets up and runs towards his sword.
"Fist of the Beast King!" shout Leomon as he throws a punch, releasing a lion head-shaped energy wave out of his fist at Musyamon. It turned to see Leomon's attack coming straight at him. He lets out a yell before Leomon's attack hits him, making his body disintegrate; Musyamon's sword disintegrates as well.
"Way to go, Leomon! I guess we know who the better swords-mon is." said Rusty. All the girls cheered.
"Our hero." said a girl with admiration. Leomon then Digivolves back into Elecmon, much to the girls disappointment.
"Turn back to Leomon!" shouts a girl.
"I will as soon as another bad Digimon tries getting in there." said Elecmon.
"Why are those girls fawning over Leomon?" asked Rusty.
"You and your male friends were going ga-ga over Angewomon." said Elecmon.
"Fair point." said Rusty. Lisa uses her opening-creating device to make an opening; Rusty and Elecmon walk into the safe zone where Mayor Davis thanks them for a job well done while Lisa closes the opening.
"Hopefully we can get things back to normal soon." said Mayor Davis.
"We'll wait and see what happens." said Elecmon.
Meanwhile, A Vilemon was nearby, watching everything that was going on while broadcasting it to Titamon.
"So, those human children and their pathetic Digimon have made it to this world?" asked Titamon.
"That explains what happened to that Vilemon and Tankmon." said Lilithmon.
"And now we've lost Musyamon." said Cerberusmon Werewolf Mode.
"No matter." said Titamon. "They won't be able to stop my forces from enslaving this world; if required, I'll destroy them myself."
Rusty and Leomon have thwarted an attempt by Titamon's forces to get into the safe zone. Will the others succeed in their supply runs? Wait and find out.
