Despite having a better understanding of Evangeline and her capabilities, neither Apollonia nor Uriel took any action—they were satisfied with the deal they currently had with her. Although it was unknown how useful or valuable the information she provided would be, they came to the conclusion that she wouldn’t be able to sell information regarding Apollonia to Petra at least. As long as she was under Kylion’s control, Evangeline wasn’t an element of danger.

“Do you have your clothes ready?” Apollonia asked Uriel. She sounded completely ordinary as though she was talking about the weather.
“My… clothes?” Uriel seemed puzzled as he replied.
“The outfit you’ll be wearing for the victory ball. How come that didn’t cross your mind when you made the biggest contribution to the war?”
“Oh, well, I thought anything with sleeves would be acceptable.”
“Aren’t you planning to wear any pants?”
