“Are you enjoying yourself?” Uriel asked, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
“Umm… are you doing this on purpose?” Apollonia replied, clearly taken aback.
In her hand was a large—massive—piece of round bread, so big that it seemed impossible to fit in anyone’s mouth. It was as big as a baby’s head and filled to the brim with meat and cheese.
“You said you wanted to try foods that the people eat often.”
“I was talking about common restaurants, though.”
“The most well-known place nearby is Madeline’s Bakery. Didn’t you see the people waiting in line?”
The two of them strolled through the capital at night, where a bustling market was in full swing. Vendors lined the streets, offering various products and mouthwatering foods.
Apollonia was the one who had expressed a clear desire to come here. She wanted to experience the lives of the people, to know their likes and dislikes, and to savor the foods they enjoyed.
