Uriel’s greeting was brief, but it brought a smile to the man in light blue’s face.
“It’s been a while, Sir. You haven’t graced our restaurant with your presence in some time, so hearing about your reservation made me quite happy.”
He seemed to treat Uriel like an old friend, displaying a different, more genuine demeanor compared to the other trained employees.
“Allow me to introduce Leo Avienne,” Uriel said, and Apollonia looked at him with curiosity.
“You’re the restaurant’s owner,” she remarked, raising an eyebrow.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you. Having you visit our humble establishment is an honor,” Leo replied warmly.
Apollonia had heard stories about Leo Avienne before. He had a lot in common with Madame Jenson as both took immense pride in their profession and the products they provided. Leo believed in fairness, taking reservations from all customers in the order they came, regardless of status.
