“…His Highness has been so kind to me, you see,” Amoretta murmured as if attempting to justify something.
“Do you have any other connections in the capital? Like family or friends? It must be lonely if you’re here without anyone you know,” Apollonia asked, curious if Amoretta remembered their previous encounter in Lyshan. Back then, Amoretta sounded as though she wanted to meet her again.
