Chapter 220 - Chapter 220: God-Rank Mecha

If the ship's hull was damaged, it could very well mean their graves would lie in the deep sea.

"All soul masters, attention! All soul masters, attention! Due to an attack by sea soul beasts, all soul masters are to immediately join the battle to protect the ships. Prevent the ships from being damaged and avert a potential disaster. Enter the fray now and reduce the sea soul beasts' assault on the hull!"

Gu You frowned as he scanned the situation. He could have chosen not to act—after all, they would likely make it through regardless.

But standing idle didn't sit well with him either.

'Since that's the case... let's wrap this up.'

His figure turned into a streak of violet light, soaring into the sky.

At the same time, all of his soul rings appeared and released a pressure that surpassed even savage beasts, blanketing the sea.

His body rapidly expanded, transforming into a colossal dragon over a thousand meters in length.

The terrifying purple eyes of the giant dragon glared down at the ocean below.

"Whoever dares approach these two ships—I'll eat you."

RUMBLE!

His voice was accompanied by peals of thunder.

"You alone? You think you can stop us?" the two hundred-thousand-year savage beasts roared defiantly.

"Can I stop you or not? Why don't you come and try?" Gu You roared skyward.

In that instant, the sky tore open. A massive rift appeared above, and from within it, meteors the size of buildings slowly emerged.

Everyone—humans and soul beasts alike—was stunned by the sight.

Even a Limit Douluo couldn't possibly create such a spectacle.

"I don't believe it. Is there no justice left? It was you humans who struck first and harmed our clansmen!" roared one of the savage beasts from the depths. The sea surged and boiled around it, utterly unafraid of the falling meteors.

The fearsome thing about sea soul beasts was their ability to manipulate the power of the ocean itself. Nature's strength was always formidable. At the hundred-thousand-year level, the waves they could conjure were unimaginably violent.

"Then I'll see how long you can keep this up. Just go already. It's not worth sacrificing more lives over a few thousand-year or even one ten-thousand-year soul beast," Gu You said coldly.

"Not worth it? What do you know of worth? You humans, ever ambitious, never grasp the consequences. The seas hold countless races. We can accept being killed by stronger beings of our own kind—but not by humans. I gave you space to pass, but today, we fight!"

"There's only one way this ends. Hand over the killer, and we'll let you go. Otherwise, we perish together!" The massive octopus, its head bearing eight glowing eyes, glared at Gu You with deadly intent.

Gu You was momentarily speechless. His gaze calmed.

Then, from his forehead, several streaks of light flew off toward the distant sea.

'Take them back…'

After finishing this, he dispelled his Martial Soul True Body and cast a glance toward Mu Ye in the distance.

No one understood why Gu You had chosen to revert his transformation, nor could anyone guess what he was truly thinking.

"The killer is right here. What are you going to do about it?" A calm voice suddenly echoed in the air.

Cai Yue'er's eyebrows twitched. A silver flash behind her signaled the full radiance of her battle armor. She was shocked—this voice had appeared so silently that even with her spiritual senses on high alert, she hadn't noticed him. That alone testified to the man's strength.

With a flicker of light, a man appeared beside her. He wore a simple white chef's hat and coat—just a plain cook on the surface.

His hands were clasped behind his back, and his body radiated a layer of dark-golden light. His soul rings were nothing short of monstrous: five black and four red. His aura was utterly overwhelming.

"It's you!" the octopus's eight eyes narrowed. Eight beams of blue light shot from its eyes, lancing toward Mu Ye.

Mu Ye turned his head to Cai Yue'er and smiled faintly. "Leave this to me." With that, he took a step into the air, facing the beams head-on without dodging. He threw a punch straight ahead.

A dark-gold fist erupted forward, and even the sky seemed to twist from its force. The blue light dissipated, and Mu Ye let out a long howl toward the heavens. His dark-gold battle armor instantly covered his body and began to radiate energy at a geometric rate.

A pair of massive wings spread out behind him. A golden halo flared into being. At the same time, his body began to grow rapidly, transforming into a giant several hundred meters tall—a towering colossus that seemed to hold up the sky and crush the sea beneath him.

The sky trembled. The sea roared. Even space itself seemed to shiver.

Mu Ye, now a giant, threw another massive punch, slamming it directly into the savage beast's chest.

"Four-word battle armor master!" Cai Yue'er exclaimed under her breath. She turned and vanished in a flash, silver moonlight trailing behind her as she returned to the ships. The silver light rippled outward, suppressing the sea soul beasts all around.

BOOM!

The octopus beast clashed violently with Mu Ye. But unlike before, this time their battle was pure brute force—direct clashes of raw power without any fancy techniques.

The ocean's might rolled over Mu Ye's gargantuan body like waves against a mountain. It had no effect.

The octopus's massive tentacles slammed against him repeatedly, while Mu Ye's colossal fists left one dark-gold dent after another on the beast's hide.

Meanwhile, Gu You released the pressure of his Dragon God bloodline, without invoking actual bloodline power, to drive away surrounding sea soul beasts—protecting them from getting annihilated by the soul-guided artillery.

"In consideration of the fact that I don't need soul rings or soul bones, and that your cultivation wasn't easy to attain—scram. If you want revenge, bring someone stronger," Mu Ye's mocking voice rumbled through the sky.

"ROAR! Human, do you really think I can't do anything to you?" The giant octopus was enraged. Its eight tentacles drooped as vast streams of blue energy surged from the sea and flooded into its body. It began to glow a strange olive green, and its aura swelled monstrously.

"You want death? Then I'll grant your wish." Mu Ye's eyes narrowed. He raised his right hand and made a summoning gesture.

A blood-red light tore through the sky and appeared at his side.

Under countless stunned gazes, a red mecha, standing six meters tall, rapidly transformed into a massive blood-red greatsword.

Mu Ye's body shrank to around ten meters tall. As he gripped the hilt, a blood-colored light erupted from the blade.

"God-rank mecha!" Countless voices cried out in shock.

"Retreat!" came a reluctant, furious roar from the octopus beast as its eight massive tentacles—
