Gu You gave the group of Devil Soul Great White Sharks a wicked smile.
"Come on in."
As he spoke, a beam of light burst from the center of his forehead. The light seemed to have suction power, even drawing in surrounding seawater.
The few Devil Soul Great White Sharks struggled violently, but were quickly overpowered and sucked into Gu You's spiritual sea, regardless of their cultivation level.
"Not bad at all."
With a satisfied expression, Gu You flew back up to the deck and went to sleep with a content smile.
Close to dawn, as he was still enjoying his slumber, a loud explosion suddenly rang out, followed by the ship shaking violently.
"Ah!"
Gu You was thrown from the bed and bumped his head.
'That was fast... payback already?'
He rubbed his head, using his soul power to stabilize himself.
"Boom boom boom!" Another thunderous explosion sounded. The ship shook even more violently.
Gu You immediately teleported to the deck.
The previously blue ocean had unknowingly turned dark purple. A colossal water pillar, dozens of meters wide, erupted from the distance and smashed into the ship's soul tool protective shield, triggering ripples and intense shockwaves.
Just then, a figure descended from the sky and landed on the deck. It was the Pavilion Master of the Body Sect—Muye.
Several more figures soared into the air from the two ships, quickly taking positions in the sky.
Five people floated midair, each radiating powerful auras. Among them was Silver Moon Douluo, Cai Yue'er.
Then, an icy figure appeared in front of Muye—it was Wu Zhangkong.
Muye pointed to his attire. "Chef."
Wu Zhangkong's eyes flashed coldly, and a chilling aura surged toward Muye.
But Muye smiled calmly and didn't resist. He let the icy aura envelop him as if it were nothing.
Wu Zhangkong gave him a glance but said nothing. First, they had to deal with the current crisis.
Outside, another massive water pillar surged toward the ship.
In midair, a red-haired elder snorted coldly and moved like lightning to intercept it. With a palm strike, a burst of fiery red light clashed with the water pillar.
The water pillar collapsed, but the elder staggered back with a muffled groan.
Suddenly, a terrifying spiritual pressure rose from the deep sea.
"You humans trespassed into our territory and killed my kin. Hand over the murderer, or you shall all perish here."
This wasn't a voice—it was a spiritual will. Yet every person aboard the ships heard it clearly, even through the protective barriers.
A massive figure slowly rose from the water. Its silver-white back was like a small island, its dorsal fin sharp and towering like a blade, emanating a chilling aura. Nearby, an even larger dark purple silhouette surfaced—hundreds of meters long at least.
These two enormous soul beasts released waves of power as they emerged, and more terrifying figures followed—sea soul beasts rising all around.
Most of them were Devil Soul Great White Sharks and Deep Sea Demon Whales. Their combined numbers exceeded a thousand. The oppressive aura covering the sea was suffocating.
Cai Yue'er said coldly, "We're just passing through. No one from our side harmed your kin. But if you insist on blocking us, don't blame us for being ruthless. You really think two hundred-thousand-year soul beasts can stop us? Humans have never lacked candidates for hundred-thousand-year soul rings."
At her words, the Devil Soul Great White Shark King and the Deep Sea Demon Whale King grew visibly more agitated.
The conflict between humans and soul beasts had long become irreconcilable. Land soul beasts were nearly extinct, and with artificial spirits from the Spirit Pagoda becoming widespread, soul beasts' living space had diminished drastically. Sea soul beasts rarely approached the continents anymore. Only the deep seas remained as their sanctuary.
Shrek Academy had always supported peaceful coexistence between humans and soul beasts, but Cai Yue'er was strong-willed. Faced with such opposition, she naturally responded with force. Even if someone aboard had killed a soul beast, she would never allow them to concede.
"Roar!" A deep, resonant roar echoed across the sea. Another massive water pillar shot into the sky, aiming directly at Cai Yue'er.
She sneered and raised her right hand skyward. Instantly, the sky darkened. A phantom silver moon appeared, casting down a brilliant light that collided with the water pillar in a deafening explosion.
The water pillar dispersed, while the silver moon remained suspended in the air. Cai Yue'er now radiated a terrifying aura, vast and crushing like an abyss.
Even the human experts floating nearby felt their hearts tighten.
A Super Douluo.
Cai Yue'er was exuding unmistakable Super Douluo-level power—and that was without summoning her battle armor. No wonder she had spoken with such confidence.
Nine soul rings appeared around her—three purple, three black, and three red. All glowing vividly.
The once-clear sky now darkened, and the silver moon shone even brighter. Floating in midair, Cai Yue'er looked like the focal point of the entire world.
The representatives from the Star Luo Empire were inwardly shocked.
'So this is the strength of Shrek Academy's elites from the Douluo Continent...'
Shrek Academy—undoubtedly the gathering place for the most powerful beings on the continent.
The Deep Sea Demon Whale King and the Devil Soul Great White Shark King hesitated at Cai Yue'er's show of force. But a moment later, the purple ocean darkened even further. Countless whirlpools formed and began surging toward the ships.
The sea soul beasts had made their choice—they would fight.
Cai Yue'er narrowed her eyes. With a single step, she was above the two kings. Under the silver moonlight, her body began to shimmer with countless translucent silver particles.
The other four human experts—all at the Title Douluo level or higher and at least three-word battle armor masters—released their battle armors in unison.
Cai Yue'er's transformation was the most striking. Her silver hair turned pitch black, and her aged face regained its youth, revealing a breathtaking beauty.
Clad in a silver battle armor that perfectly sculpted her figure, she radiated elegance and might.
"I'll give you one last chance—leave now," Cai Yue'er said sternly.
At that moment, from beneath the waves, a deep voice replied,
"I'll handle her."
