Ava then presses her thumb on the doorknob, where she inputs a passcode as a second authentication that only she and her parents know. She pressed on it, where she rotated it, and the slider inside the door mechanism shut open, where Ava pushed the door to the side.
Ava looks at Yaren from her back, her blonde hair and brown eyes are still waiting for Ava to welcome her to her house for a visit.
Ava said, "This is my house. You like it?" Yaren looked at her and said nothing, where she nodded and then entered the domicile.
Ava is then seen lifting her other leg up as she is inside the door with a collection of shoes on the drawers and placing her shoe inside.
As Ava then repeats the same process for her other heel and places it inside the drawer, the pair of heels is finally stored together inside the drawer.
Ava nonchalantly taps the front of the drawer again, and the electrical slider of the drawer then pushes itself back. Ava makes her feet step on the house floor.
Yaren observes the custom Ava has to do, and it strikes her that Ava lived in a very well-mannered background, it's almost like she is an Asian living in a decent house replete with gadgetry and convenience - Stereotypical asian nerd, but it's not uncommon when you are in the 28th century. Year 2715
Now then, Yaren followed Ava and abided by the customs of removing her shoes. Yaren then landed her two feet on the floor of the building as Ava entered the kitchen.
Ava shouted, "I'm home, Mom." Yaren with her blonde hair and brown eyes with a fair skin complexion followed.
Behold a female with Dark Brown hair, she appears to be of slender build with delicate build with almond eyes whose pigment is like hazel. Yes, the very definition of a feminine woman whose youth is outwardly eminent. Ava then looks at Yaren, introducing her mother and says, "This is my mother."
However, Cassandra smiles and says, "No need for the formal introduction. I already know who your friend is, since you are still under surveillance after your juvenile law detention. I have the right to know what you are planning, your geolocation, especially your impulsive speeches!"
Cassandra Lee with a warning eyebrow and stare, "Ava, if you repent everything of the impulsive speeches you said with your partner here. I will pardon you asap."
The mother then approached Yaren with grace, "My apologies, as you may have seen, my sweetheart has a collar on her, so I had no choice but to be strict with her and to inculcate her law-abiding behavior. I presume you are her friend named Yaren? Welcome to the house."
Yaren's eyes became anxious, she was awestruck by her elegance, "Likewise, I understand quite well that you want your daughter to be a true civilian and that is completely within the responsibilities of a parental figure". She said with respect to her mother
The mother put a palm on her cheek, she followed with, "Oh my, look what we have. You made quite a significant friend despite your reserved, robotic nature. How delightful of my offspring."
where Cassandra puts two of her hands at her back, her eyes already simmering in calculations. Apparently, she has recognized her neglect of Ava's teenage rebellion and had a deal with the father to ensure Ava's maintenance.
Ava watched as the mother charmed her friend with almost vixen wiles; she was really exuding hospitable vibes. Ava then rolled her eyes and informed, "Meet me on the second floor, yaren. And mother, why don't you continue caring for Max?" Then the mother confidently smiled with her arms in a cross, "Fret not, Ava. He has been doing fine in my care, and I made sure to prioritize you concurrently" with her head looking down with her eyes open.
Ava nodded, "Thanks, I will go and hang out with my friend now." Ava rushes upstairs to go to her room.
Ava, "What is up with her…" Ava shook her head and dismissed any thoughts. Ava looked at Yaren with a prideful invitation, "Here is my room, Yaren. You like it?"
Yaren looked around and was astounded, at the same time confounded. Ava's room was messy, but its only cluttered with tech and books, apparently Ava was a bit too preoccupied with coding to even care that the she dropped a single tech out of convenience that she would be distracted trying to clean her things.
Yaren complimented, 'Yes, a very nice room.' With no further explanation nor elaboration it was pain and simple sentences that came out of her mouth, as if this was the very thing she expected and at the same time find amusing.
Her room was of a typical hacker girl, but Ava is more than just a hacker girl; she is a superhero. Ava then walks to her computer, and starts elegantly pressing keyboards she checks on her main monitor.
Ava looked at the decryption and the reverse engineering project she has been passively working on.
Ava looked into the bytes and the decompiling view of the monitor she is looking at, a vulnerability looking at a simple program with a vulnerability, a line of code that points to a memory pointer which is vulnerable to an attack. A potential zero-day exploit.
Is she close to breaking the code? It doesn't matter, Ava is closely locked in. Ava gasped for air, and looked at Yaren "Where were we?" with an enthusiastic smile.
Ava asks, "Do you want to play some games?" Ava looked into Yaren, Yaren nodded, "Yeah sure" while still looking at the techy terminals that are in her computer with an etch of concern and intrigue on what she was working on.
Ava went through every closet of every messy gadget she tried to jailbreak for the thrill of feeling like a master of every one of them. Ava scoured, throwing the gadgets flippantly while trying to find a cheap game console she once had with the controllers just to spend some time with Yaren.
Ava grabbed something and joyed, "Found it." Ava stood up, and vehemently suggested, "Let's play." Ava sat on the floor and invited Yaren to play a simple virtualized boxing game.
A 3D hologram of both fighters, ranging from characters who are cyborgs, humans, aliens, or machines, the hologram is small and perceivable. Ava's cyber brain continues to calculate moves with precision and with enhanced focus; however, Yaren tells her to turn off that cyber brain and play fair
Yare,n with personal frustration speaks her tongue, "Ava, I know you have that enhanced mind of yours, but could you at least tune it down and tap into your human mind for a while. It's not fair. Yaren gets frustrated losing to Ava, and with cognizance of her intellect. Ava's head fell down, "Ah, you got me. I suppose I should play fair now." Ava focused on her mind, trying to reach the subconscious to let her think like a human for a while. It was a real struggle. Ava's eyes became more stressed, it's as if cybernetics has been integrated into her identity, that every breath of her thoughts is merely a collage of her cybernetics and human mind - it was a struggle, is she a new species of this world?
Ava reached out to her subconscious or any Freudian part of her mind to turn these cybernetic fibers that are entangled with her head, reducing the action potential impact of these artificial neural cells for enhancing computation on a cognitive level, it's like axons but more refined and nanotech
Ava forces her mind, "Focus, focus. Try to reduce the artificial computation on the head." Ava makes another attempt, "Trying to tie it out." Ava lost focus in trying to suppress the cybernetics in her mind, it was already a standard her mind is literally a hybrid of robot and human - and there is nothing to do about it unless she bites an EMP grenade on her mouth and have it explode causing a temporary short circuit in her neural-cybernetic physiology or at the very least permanent damage.
Ava balked at the thought of so she waved her head and tried to play it cool, "Alright, I will play fair, my dear frien,d" and so Ava recalculates her steps and decides to not overthink, hoping it would not let her mind syncretize with her transhumanist cognition almost instantaneously deciding to play the game fair. Ava, as she suppresses her mind, "Sorry, why don't we continue the game?" Ava looks at Yaren's eyes while sitting.
Ava continues to play, trying to control the fighter she is playing with in a holographic project video game. Ava starts pressing her joysticks and buttons like a normal girl, while trying to remind or fixate her supergo on suppressing the nanotechnology that's been embedded in her brain since birth.
-Press the controller's button
-Twirls the joystick around
-Press the controller's buttons
Cycle repeats again with inconsistent patterns, but frenetic, but on Ava, the other side is more relaxed
Yaren starts to win, and she gets a little happy. Ava looked at her face and smiled, "Hope that makes you happy." Yaren then became curious, "You really did manage to suppress your nanotech brain, no?" Ava with happiness, "Yeah, I manage to, at least experience human fragility with you." Ava then smiles with bittersweetness.
Her cybernetic brain was her pride and hers too, bestowed by the highest society's echelon of scientific achievement.
But for the first time, she was able to connect with someone through her own human self, without the use of a transhumanist brain. Her own thoughts are human, and she can be on equal footing with her own mind playing against Yaren in a fighting simulator game.

Ava's losses are starting to add up; it was an even match now. Ava has successfully detached herself from her cybernetic cognition, although it may just be her trying to play fair without trying to think too much of it. Soon, Yaren would win, which would annoy her. Ava accepted her defeat, knowing that doing this would serve her soon.
And so Ava continued to do her act where she pretended to struggle and fight while suppressing her cybernetic mind. The liberation from overthinking, the feeling of being human.
