"Ryn," Kael's voice sounded like a whisper as he gently pushed him away, his hands on Ryn's chest. "What are you doing?"
"Kissing you," Ryn's reply sounded sarcastic, but that was the truth. He was kissing Kael because he wanted to. "Is it bad that I want to kiss you?" He fluttered his eyelashes at Kael and leaned closer to him.
Kael let out a groan and gently pushed him back. "Please stop…" he paused and heaved a deep sigh. "Stop doing this. I just survived my rut, and I don't think I can hold back tonight."
Ryn chuckled and touched Kael's hand on his chest. "Who said anything about holding back? I never said I wanted you to hold back."
"Wait," Kael muttered and placed his hand on Ryn's face. "You want this, but…" he stuttered.
"But what, Kael? Don't you want to bond with me?"
"What about Sylas?"
Ryn furrowed his brows in confusion. "What about him?"
"Isn't Sylas the one you like? Has that changed?"
