Kael
The heavy breathing had woken him up from the bed. He touched the side where Ryn was supposed to be, but it felt cold, like Ryn hadn't been there.
Panic set in immediately, and Kael jumped from the bed, his eyes roaming around, searching for Ryn. His heart pounded with anticipation as he thought the worst had happened to him.
His eyes landed on the balcony, and he heaved a deep sigh when he saw him, legs crossed and eyes closed.
"What the hell is he even doing there?" Kael thought as he moved toward the balcony. "Ryn," he muttered and placed a hand on his shoulder, but he gasped as he felt a chill run down his spine.
This wasn't good, he thought.
"Ryn," he muttered, shaking Ryn to wake him up, but he got no response from him. "What is happening with you?" he asked and then placed his head on Ryn's chest.
There was no heartbeat.
